This entire county is a dream for middle-aged women, but this is a place to get a reasonable meal as a guy not trying to lose their mind looking at quilts, etc. Food = Fish sandwich and noodle soup were both good at a fair price. They run out of pies throughout the day because they're not serving old pie here, but they're good and lots to choose from. Service = Very friendly. Sometimes a guy has questions, like "Why is there a log of cheese with my soup?" (even though it's awesome). But they answer in a friendly way. Restaurant = This place is busy, you will likely wait. Lovely spot for lunch in Amish country! Be prepared to wait if you go on a weekend...luckily there are a couple of shops nearby though where you can browse while you wait to be texted that your table is ready. They close at 3pm, took our names at 2pm, and said it would be a 45 minute wait (which it was) but we didn't feel rushed once we were seated even though it was close to closing time. Our server was extremely friendly and great! Foodwise, we ordered the veggie quiche with a side of the house tomato basil soup and the bistro burger (bacon added) with a side of their soup of the day, cheesy potato. They have a variety of specialty coffee drinks but I chose to order the lightly sweetened peach tea for something different. My husband really enjoyed his burger and said it was well seasoned. He enjoyed the potato soup also and only wished they had fries to enjoy with the burger. My tomato basil soup was tasty! The quiche needed seasoning...I had to add salt and pepper and hot sauce and it could have done without all the extra cheese sprinkled on top. It came with a slice of blueberry bread though which was nice! The peach tea was refreshing as a change but I'd go with coffee next time. The service is top notch, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the food is always the star of the show! We stopped in the morning for breakfast. If you haven't tried this gem out while in Amish country you are totally missing out. We make sure this is added to every itinerary. The fresh made products and food offered is always A++++ Their burgers are my absolute favorite. They are juicy and fresh. And the bun and sauce is just as good as the patty. There is always a flavored coffee blend to try on the menu as well. Even if you have to wait; they are quick and you will get a text giving you your place in line. We had lunch at Rebecca's and from first stepping into the Bistro until we were done it was an amazing experience. We were greeted by the hostess as soon as we entered. There was a brief wait for a table. Our server was at our table right after we sat down. We ordered beverages: a Dr. Pepper for my wife and a lightly sweetened ginger peach fresh brewed iced tea for me. The iced tea was refreshingly delicious! We placed our entree orders and they were prepared timely, fresh, and hot from the kitchen. My wife had a Ham and Cheese Quiche with a fruit cup and I ordered the Turkey and Berry with Swiss cheese sandwich accompanied by a side of homemade Tomato Basil soup. The meals from our first bites were incredibly good. My Turkey Berry tasted great and my wife's quiche was outstanding. We both told each other after our first bites, "you have got to try this!" I think this rates in the top ten meals I've ever had; the soup was rich in tomato flavor and the Turkey Berry and the grilled bread it was served on were very tasty. My wife's quiche was light and fluffy with a generous amount of ham throughout perfectly balancing the egg and meat and cheese. We also ordered a slice of carrot cake we took with us. Also very, very good. Moist cake and delicious cream cheese icing. A great finish to our meal. Very good eats! Throughout our meal our server checked in on us making sure we didn't need anything but not to the point of being annoying, just an appreciated amount of proper attention. The setting of the Bistro is settled in an older building with exposed timber beams in the ceiling and pleasantly appointed decorating tastefully done adding to the overall experience. Every person on Staff we interacted with had a genuine friendliness making us feel welcomed as guests. We've been coming to Walnut Creek for thirty (30) years but this was our first time dining at Rebecca's; it will not be the last! We decided to go for a nice, long drive on a gorgeous day. We wanted to eat someplace different from the buffets in Amish country. I read the reviews for Rebecca's Bistro and am glad we decided to have lunch there. It was nice inside, but we are not fond of the smell of coffee. Since it was so nice out, we dined outside. It was clean and nicely decorated inside and out. The bathroom was well-stocked and clean. We had a lovely server, Abigail, who was attentive. I had the Turkey Berry Sandwich, side salad with their herb dressing. It was so delicious. It was different, not overly sweet (because there was grilled pineapple and strawberry jam mixed with cream cheese), Swiss cheese, and the turkey was perfectly sliced and plenty of it on their grilled 12-grain bread. Their herb salad dressing was a cross between poppy seed and Italian. It was so good, I took the rest home to use. I also ordered the peach ginger iced tea. They labeled it lightly sweetened. It was not sweet at all, which is how I like my tea (being a diabetic, it didn't raise my blood sugar at all). My husband had the Grilled Cheese and Basil Tomato Soup. The sandwich had two types of cheese (provolone and pepper jack) with cherry butter on cranberry walnut bread. Oh, Yum! The soup was the best tomato soup we have ever had! Got here about noon and it was a 45 minute wait, so we got on the list and walked over and went to the gift shops . The wait ended up being about 25 minutes. I've been wanting to try this place for a while. Love their tomato soup. My parents weren't impressed with the place, but they can be picky. I finally tried it yesterday for breakfast. Ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits and a diet Pepsi. The biscuits were tough The sausage was so fine and there didn't seem to be much in the gravy.. $9, not too badly priced. Any other place I've had it, they sliced the biscuits in half. This place didn't. And the pop...they placed a 20 oz bottle and a glass of ice on my table. And charged me $3.80 for it. $3.80. when on sale, I have bought a 6 pack for that or less. Highway robbery. I doubt they paid much over 50 cents for the pop. That's definitely highway robbery. I'll never go back. Color me robbed and not impressed. At least the waitress did well. read more

Being a beautiful Saturday in Amish country, we knew from prior reviews that we were in for wait so we arrived 30 minutes ahead of our 5 YO granddaughter (and her parents). There is a comfortable space for waiting and the time gave us the opportunity to sit, visit, and check out the menu. The tomato basil soup is nothing short of amazing, a perfect balance of flavors. We had a really nice lunch at Rebecca's Bistro. Their menu consists of sandwiches, soups, salad, and quiche, and a large selection of coffee, tea, and soda. We tried a couple different sandwiches and shared the strawberry chicken salad. We didn't ask but they were kind enough to split the salad onto each of our plates for us. For sides we tried the cheesy potatoes. The potatoes were the best I've ever had, the cheese was so good you could tell it's made fresh. Honestly all of the food was extremely fresh and delicious. Both of our orders included a piece of their homemade blueberry bread, so good! It tasted just baked. Our server Wilma was so awesome, nice and very pleasant. She made the experience all the more better. They have a lot of bakery too but we didn't save room, next time will try for sure. I have been wanting to try this place because my daughter and granddaughter come here often and love it. When you walk up they have about 4-5 tables set up for people who want to sit outside. It is very small inside so if they are busy it could be a wait. We gave our name to the hostess and found a bench outside. It didn't take to long and they sat us on the patio. Almost instantly the bees started flying around us and the table behind us to the right had bees all around their plates and syrup. Anyone that knows me well knows one bee and I am gone. This was not going to work. I told the waitress my issue with bees and that we can't stay outside. I followed her in to get away from the bees. She then told the hostess to get us a seat and from now on to warn customers of the problem. They had a little indoor side patio they sat us at to solve the problem. It was perfect. Our waitress was fantastic and very attentive. All three of our dishes were delicious. I really enjoyed the apple stuffed French toast. I look forward to my next visit. read more

We stayed within walking distance of this little place and it was fabulous. The staff were extremely friendly and the lattes were amazing, way better than many we have tried and we try them all! The restaurant is small but very cute and super clean. The baked goods looked wonderful but we are keto so we didn't partake. Breakfast has a couple tasty options for low carb folks like us which was great. They also have gluten and grain free options but unfortunately they still have sugar. Location is very pretty and it was a warm day but the trees outside provided ample shade for us to enjoy our coffee. Highly recommended! Despite a brief 5-minute wait (we're not picky about seating), we landed a table outside, basking in the warm but not too hot morning air. Their specialty coffee, fittingly named Jamaica Me Crazy, was a tasty. This brew packed such a flavorful punch that cream and sugar were rendered completely unnecessary.
