This was an amazing experience. I've never done any cyro-therapy before and heard reviews from others so I had to try it out. We (my husband and I) did cyro first then compression therapy afterwards. Cyro took about 3 minutes a piece. Since this was my first time I used a mask to help my breathing. They have Bluetooth so you can connect your music while "chilling out" Next was the compression. I did my hips/thighs and my husband did his shoulders. The compression took about 25 minutes to complete. It was an unusual feeling to go back and forth from compression to not, but afterwards my hips felt weightless and what an amazing feeling that is. We also tried the nitro brew coffee and tea. This place was amazing for me when I needed it the most. A week and a half before I wrestled in a National tournament I got injured and the owners and one of their staff members, Meifie, totally helped me recover quickly. Their Cryo machine is THE BEST I'VE EVER BEEN IN. Instead of only getting my chest down and not feeling cold for a minute with their machine I'm cold within the first 8 seconds. Couple days ago, I came to this place to check out the hype on cryotherapy,infrared sauna and compression therapy.I came in as a skeptic (afraid that I would be shivering so bad) so I kept asking questions throughout the whole process. It was a good experience to begin with from the parking, to the wellness coordinators, and the instructions. They provide clean gloves,muffs, masks, robes and socks for you to change into before going inside the chamber. They do a 2 minute check to ensure you have no health hazards and safety checks. I was offered that I could play my music during the process so I wouldn't think too much of the cold environment. Once the chamber was cold enough, the receptionist assisted me in (removing the robe but keeping everything else on as listed) and stayed the whole time for 3 minutes. I stayed the whole way through controlling my breathing and keeping my gloves hands under my arms to keep warm. I also tried dancing/running in place to warm up my body. I believe that this process helps in increasing your body's core temperature for 3 minutes to trigger their fight and flight and effectively pump up blood circulation around the body affecting your performance at work or when you go to the gym. I work as a registered nurse and coming straight after this into work was the best decision I made. I went to the infrared sauna and compression therapy immediately right after to focus on relaxing my muscles. You will be hosted into a room with a TV (offering Netflix) and will be assisted to wear a compression pants ( I chose to compress my thighs because I work on my legs a lot as a registered nurse). The setting on the compression is based on your preference from 1-10. I started on average of 7 because of the uncertainty with how much pressure it would deliver. To my surprise, I thought 7 was actually as much as I can go. It lasted for 30 minutes while I was watching 'impractical jokers'. For the infrared sauna, just like the cryotherapy session I had to strip down, wipe my feet with the provided wet towels and was given eucalyptus spray(chilled) with a towel for the session. I went inside the room set at 158 F and started my session while listening to my music. Don't be afraid to go out to take a break and have some water because most saunas I've been to doesn't offer beverages but they do ! They offered a nitro cold brew drink outside for only 5 dollars. They brief me through the different selections and I think the best one is the TROPICAL tea brew. I went back to the session and finished my 45 minutes and left the place with no regret at all. Great clean place, and establishes a relaxed- healing ambiance. I came in with a knee injury and was limited in range of motion. 3 min of cryotherapy, already increased in the range of motion of my knee. Followed it with compression- much needed and felt percentages better. My amazement was hours after the session that my knee sustained the positive effects. Came by handful of times to tour and learn about all the cool toys inside. Dealing with some muscle soreness and pain so I wanted to know more about the cryogenic chamber. But after seeing the infrared sauna with the pink salt floor had to sign up. The wife and I did our first session and the staff could not have been more of a pleasure.
