Bready, briochy taste to the donut, with no sweetness (neither plus nor minus), letting the toppings and fillings handle that. Plenty of yellow vanilla pudding inside (a plus for quantity). No seating inside (a minus) but a single metal table outside that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks (big minus). Filled with pollen. I do like the selection (big plus) and the crazy flavors will appeal to a wide range of tastes, but there are places where you can still get a fresh donut and sometimes even a warm one. Rocco's doesn't seem to be one of them. Not bad by any means but not screaming out for a revisit.

Sometimes warm. -- Chocolate Croissant: I doubt this is made in house. Flaky, yes, but something's off. Seems like a prefab product from the freezer section. You can do much better than this. -- Rugelach: Very rich with potent Nutella flavor. A little greasy, but in a good way. Small but packs a flavor wallop. -- Cinnamon Bun: Decent.
