More of a takeout operation. -- Muffins: Although the muffins are a slight drop off in moistness/freshness from the flagship (because there's probably an early morning drop off from the flagship), they're still big and still good. Perhaps not living up to the hype that wants you believe these are the best muffins ever, but definitely good. I didn't see cranberry orange here on my most recent visit-- that's the one that's really special, from the bulbous fruit to the dough that's much more than a vessel. -- Coffee: Decent. Had this location saved in my "want to go" list for a year and I finally got to try it! I just wish I went sooner. Impeccable service and delicious food. I went during lunch hours, the service was really quick and there was plenty of place to dine-in. I tried the Mocha Latte and Chicken Pesto Panini on whole wheat bread. 10/10 for both. The chicken to pesto to cheese ratios were on spot. I got a Medium Latte which is the same size as a Large at other cafes and as a coffee lover, this was a dream! My friend got Iced Chai and low-key best cafe chai I ever had. Since this cafe is so close to work I might just come in once or twice a week. read more

Found this local gem and am loving it! Staff were friendly and helpful for recommendations. Price are affordable ($4 dollars plus for a generous size eclairs). I got a mango strawberry smoothie and it was delicious. The eclairs are huge with great portions of custard so nothing to complain. Store is quaint, clean, and welcoming. My iced mocha is made perfect every time and the muffins are always moist (I know, I know...not the our favorite word) and HUGE. My personal favorite is the sweet and sour. What a nightmare! So sad, we are new to town and tried this place out. The woman at the counter was just shy of verbally abusive because we ordered online and my husband gave my name instead of his. She refused to give us the order and yelled at him in front of everyone, saying I have to come down to pick up the order (I'm at home with our newborn). What kind of a business are you running here? Ordered a chicken salad sandwich and some goodies yesterday. The sandwich was good, but the half moon cookie and the eclair were out of this world delicious! Also the eclair was enormous with a crispy perfectly baked choux and full to the brim with pastry cream. Highly recommend! I ordered delivery from Door Dash and the service was super fast! I really loved the muffins here. We had blueberry muffins with lots of blueberries. They were moist, fresh, and delicious. They're a little more expensive than chain bakeries, but the muffins were absolutely amazing. The service was good and it was clean inside. They have lots of pastry choices and cakes too. read more

We stopped here on the way to a football game at the high school and can understand why this place is so popular! It was clean, fast even with a crowd and the food and drinks were spectacular. My wife wanted muffins for Mother's Day. We drove past and there was a huge, slow moving line. So we went home, and then I volunteered to go back and stand in the line to get her muffins. Went back, stood in line for 15 minutes to get in the door. Empty shelving. "Hi, I'd like some muffins, please." "Oh, we're out of muffins." So the Muffin House was out of muffins, knew they had a line down the street, and couldn't be bothered to even put out a sign to tell the people waiting patiently for muffins that they didn't have any muffins. The muffin house is hit or miss. You either get a great sandwich or a terrible one. There is no in between. 7/10 times it's not a good sandwich. They seem to always get something wrong. Always excuses! ordered online in the AM for an order of muffins went through the process with a P/U at noon. Came in at noon asked for my order no order. Well, what happened if they ran out (12 Blueberry muffins) I would have been out of luck. The Muffin House will forever be the best place around for unbelievable muffins and pastries and good coffee to pair. However, we recommend avoiding the breakfast sandwiches. The bacon and other meats tasted microwaved a few times and just overall were not worth the wait; especially on the weekends when the place can get mobbed. The mocha coffee is delicious and their variety of iced coffee flavors is endless. Their desserts are great for any occasion as well. We recommend the coffee cake, blueberry or chocolate chip muffins. Overall: 4 stars. Stick with the pastries and coffee. read more

I absolutely love Muffin House! I don't think I've ever had a bad thing from here. The coffee cake muffin is great, the honey wheat bagel in my opinion is the best one, the sandwiches are great too, and they have the best coffee! Hubby and I normally stop for muffins, but today we wanted to try the bagels. Big mistake. At 10:30 it was not incredibly busy, but still we waited 20 minutes for two toasted bagels. Wait... microwaved bagels, since popping a bagel in the microwave for a few seconds so it's just warm is their version of toasting a bagel. But why did it take 20 minutes you ask if it wasn't busy? Two girls and a guy were huddled in the back talking and whispering while he was flirting with them all while eating his own bagel as they slowly made food orders. Finally after fifteen or twenty minutes I asked a different girl if they would be ready soon, and she walked over to where those three were and picked up a bag off the shelf and gave it to us. So two bagels had been ready for a while before given to us, but wasn't ever handed to us because the guy was too infatuated with the girls there and forgot about us even though he was the one who took our order and made eye contact with me several times while I watched him ignore us.
