It's a very quiet place, maybe adding coffee music in the background would be a little nice! Food: I got the smoked salmon toast and it was so good! Very savory. Made me want to buy more haha. We were excited to try this place, we have liked Joanie's next door all the times we've been there, but we thought we would branch out and give other small businesses a try. We were sadly disappointed. We came on a Sunday- they were not busy at all. There was only 1 other party inside. We thought this party was done eating, actually turned out they were still waiting on their drinks and food. The service this particular day was so slow and lacking. My friends shared the breakfast burrito, I ordered the veggie bagel. My friend tried to order a coffee, but he was told no. They didn't have coffee filters. So he actually went next door to get a proper coffee from Joanie's... my girlfriend and I ordered specialty coffee's here. Our drinks took forever- but for some reason, they were not not even hot. Very disappointing. Our friend said his Joanie coffee was hot and let us add some of his to ours to make our's hot... this is very sad to have to do this. Our food took over 25 minutes- insane, there was no one here. Plus they were out of a ton of things. Several different kinds of bagels. I ended up with a cheese jalapeño one and had to pick the cheese and jalapeño off the top since I didn't actually want that kind. My friends said the burrito was ok- but they do prefer the one next door better. My veggie bagel was ok- but nothing special. The staff all had their hair down. We were commenting on how sloth like and slow everyone here moved... like maybe they needed some coffee themselves. But the crazy hair all over the place was grossing us out. When you are working with food- your hair should be secured or pulled back- 1 guy's hair was so crazy and all over the place. We did actually look for hair in our food. We tried 2 of the flavored iced lattes and both tasted pretty much like plain coffee with cream. It was a bit disappointing, if you had to do a blind taste test I do not think you could guess the intended flavors or even tell them apart. read more

Had a wedding in town and decided to do breakfast at Red Bicycle. We walked in and found the place packed. Clearly a popular spot for a Saturday morning. A spacious and funky ambiance. Went to the counter and ordered a French toast iced coffee and a hot flower child (honey and lavender) latte. Both were yummy and not to sweet. My boyfriend decided to try the meat lovers burrito that includes cheddar cheese, bacon, egg, sausage, ham, turkey, and hash browns with a side of salsa. I ordered a Cali crepe with turkey, cherry tomatoes, arugula, avocado, pickled red onions, feta cheese, and topped with everything bagel seasoning. Delicious and filling! Excellent portions. Service was solid. Found a table, sat ourselves down, and were quickly served. While there was a miscommunication with my boyfriend's order (he had wanted a meat lovers not a mushroom breakfast burrito), they gladly corrected it. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. Good food. We went for breakfast this morning. First time coming in & so glad we did! The lady at the counter was so sweet! We ordered the meat lovers breakfast burrito & OMG it was delicious!! I'm glad we spilt it because there is no way I could have finished the whole thing! Along with the burrito I ordered an iced vanilla chai & it was in the top 5 of the best I've ever had! I look forward to going back to try the crepes!! The atmosphere inside it very cute with the red phone booth! They have children's books & a couple games to play. as a family we thought we would try the red bicycle in Murfreesboro today. Being our first time and we were really excited. We were not sure what to order so the lady taking order suggested her favorite drink. My daughter and I both tried it. When my daughter tried it, she did not care for the beverage. We asked the lady if she could try something different, and she said no. She said that my daughter could order another to try something different but we would need to pay for it. after paying six dollars for her drink, I was a little taken back by her customer service. Unfortunately, we will not be returning our business to the red bicycle due to the customer service today that we received. love to supporting local businesses in the Murfreesboro area and we were excited for a warm atmosphere. So I'm trying this place as it "reopens " next to a previous location of the same name. Partnerships change and people move on in life... and in this case it allows me to try somewhere "new". I had the Butterbeer latte and the Banana Peanut crepe. Both were excellent. The service was fantastic and the ambiance is nice. I look forward to future visits. The former place is still next door with the same owner but a new name. Both are good and worth trying. read more

All of my experiences at this restaurant have been amazing! I have gotten delectable crepes and expertly made lattes both hot and iced. This morning in particular, my cashier and barista, Lily, was so personable and talkative - in the best way! COFFEE WAS SO GOOD! I asked the barista for her favorite latte. I got a spin on the butter-beer latte with brown sugar syrup instead of vanilla - iced, of course. It was heavenly. The shop itself is very cute with good music choice. I love how open it feels with the front windows looking out into the square - and somehow it remains so cozy, too!
