    Nutella croffle

I had the Nutella croffle and a cold brew with a splash of oat milk. Both were fantastic and I will definitely be back to try their sandwiches. There is a good amount of seating so we were able to stay and eat.

The staff was conscientious and attentive. Cookie butter coffee, Amazing! Sandwiches were very good and prices were reasonable.

Nice decor, but coffee was weak, and no Sugar in the Raw. Friendly staff. Need to increase the Air Conditioning

Date of Visit: July 1, 2026…read more After driving all day the previous day we were wanting a real good county breakfast. My wife told me she had just the place in mind and I've been there before too (City Cafe). But when we arrived we saw they were permanently closed, dang. I could taste it. Then the wife recommended Puckett's and they are just around the the corner, a short walk. As we walked up on the place I noticed the marque, retro. The inside was bit as well. We were quickly seated and drink orders taken. This was a weekday morning visit so not too busy. Looking over the menu, I may not have looked close enough, I decided on the "Build your own Omelette". Onions, tomatoes and pepper jack cheese. The wife ordered the B&G. I noticed I wasn't asked about my side? I wounded potatoes. Also rye bread with my omelette, hmmm. Our food arrived, all looked good. I saw my order came with what looked like frozen type of potatoes, perfect squares. I was expecting something home cooked, fried potatoes with burnt edges. Flavor. The wife's B&G looked great, two basques and potatoes as well. The omelette was good, plenty of everything and filled. The wife said here B&G was really good and she's a B&G expert. Over all, all was good just disappointed with the potatoes option and no rye toast. Perhaps they could consider fresh cut potatoes along with the frozen type. Also maybe offer some type of toast. Give the place try if your on the square. Peace.

My go-to drink is the Dirty Hippie--it never disappoints. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It is on the pricier side, but the portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. Parking can be tricky but we always get lucky and find something around the square.

The food is delivered to your table. While waiting, I noticed that the old building has a faint mold smell that would have set my wife's allergies off. I was alone on a lunch break. I ordered their Greatest American Hero burger with Cajun fries. The fries were crispy and perfectly cooked. They were great. The burger was perfectly cooked and had enough lettuce that the fresh crunch came through. Joanie's Magic Sauce was served on the side. It was good with the burger but not the fries. This was my first trip here and I can recommend it. The burger was better than average. I'd give it a 7.8 out of 10. Other than the moldy smell, I can recommend it. The condiments are in small packets on a wall, which I didn't care for, but not the end of the world.

The eggs, potatoes, and gravy were on point. The Chimi Steak Scrambler was very good. I was expecting, based on the table tent, to have a bit of pink and juicier than the steak was. Over all tasted great. The service was lagging which may be due to our arrival later in the morning. The server needed a shirt change or a higher bib on the apron. The general condition of the dining room was good considering the time of day. The room was comfortable. I will try them again. It's improving and hopefully, time will get them the last star.

The restaurant itself was very clean and cutely decorated. It was Memorial Day, so they had some patriotic decor. The bathrooms were clean, although I turned the faucet on to wash my hands and the water was scalding hot (it was to the right) and no matter which direction I turned the faucet, it wouldn't cool down. Once I turned it off and back on again, it seemed to cool down drastically, The classic donuts were fantastic! They were drizzled with caramel and powdered sugar. They were soft and chewy with a crunchy outer layer. I added sausage gravy to my build your own omelette, which added a nice flavor. Overall really great spot!
