It runs under Hill Street between 4th and 5th, with one main entrance/exit hub on 5th & Hill Street directly across from Pershing Square and two entrance/exit points on 4th & Hill Street parallel from each other. One on the same side as Angel's Flight and the other on the same side as Grand Central Market. Like any metro station you can find kiosk or purchasing, reloading or checking the balance of physical tap cards needed to ride metro below. You can find elevator access both at 5th as well as on the northwest side of 4th (same side as Angel's Flight). Trains run through here between 4am to 1am weekly, which if you're planning for a later night until close at your local watering hole, lounge, bar, speakeasy or nightclub ride share, a sober friend or the city metro busses are likely to be your chariot. They have been making some improvements and there are motions to extend things back to 2:30/3 am as they were prior to 2020. P.S. Station is one I know well from DTLA Proud and Summer Concerts at Pershing Square to adventures to the Last Book Store, meals at Beelman's, round treats at Donut Friend, concerts at The Regent plus trips to their Love Song Bar and also Prufrock Pizzeria for their adobe fries! Still typically busy during the day and on weekends with frequent service in the morning, afternoon and early evening with less frequency by 8 to 9pm. There isn't any direct metro parking for those riding from Pershing Square, but the Pershing Square Garage is 24 hours with a $9 flat rate + $20 max limit, overnight pricing. Other garages and lots in the area, but not all are late night or 24/7. They're doing their best to keep this station clean and safer, but that also means when need to do are part to when riding green/going metro :)

Metro is currently under construction expanding this Line going West to Westwood. The station was spotless as there were crews cleaning the station and the train I took before departure. Metro has made a big effort in keeping their busses, trains, and stations clean and safe. I took the subway to Union Station in Downtown LA to connect with Amtrak. Every station was clean with plenty of security. There were Ambassadors, Metro Security; that looked like real cops, and then LAPD officers. Any personnel that I approach with a question was very kind and helpful. I kid you not! I was very impressed. This trip was on a Sunday early evening and the train was on time and ran efficiently. Once I arrived at Union Station it was very busy. Again, the station was very clean with plenty of cleaners and security. It truly was a great experience, and I hope Metro continues this level of service indefinitely. Best way to attract more/new riders.

As indicated by the name, it is 90 feet underneath the intersection of Wilshire and La Cienega Blvd (just within Beverly Hills). The famous Rodeo Drive will be accessible when the Beverly Dr station opens in 2027. There were shiny new elevators as well as escalators. Paddle gates were active. At the concourse level, both sides of the station were tiled with panels designed by the artist Mariana Castillo Deball, titled "Four Pleated Lanscapes: Fossil Ground, Woven Cienega, Medicinal Flora and Urban Desert Fauna". And yes, the plaque did misspell 'landscape'...sigh. My goal was to visit each of the three new stations on this weekday, and used Metro enough to hit the daily limit (once you are charged $5, 3 trips at $1.75 each, every subsequent ride is free for the rest of the day). I also read that Tap Plus (where one can just use your contactless credit card as your card, vs having to use your phone or physical TAP card) will be active by Spring '26, but nothing that said it is active yet. Getting that working will be big for visitors, who will just use their credit card without having to prepay for fare, and know that they are optimizing how they are not overpaying.

A goes from campus all the way past the row and drops off/picks up on the popular streets where students live so this is great if you don't want to walk all the way home lol. This volume is frequently annoying (local neighborhood lines, HSC, Union Station) but can even be to the point of eardrum pain for passengers on the Marina Del Rey shuttle (2010). Management acknowledged the problem but implied the problem was unsolvable. 3) Unskilled drivers accelerate fast enough to knock over students not yet to their seats, run red lights, actually close doors ONTO entering passengers, and management was hiring some extremely rude and uncouth people to drive 2007-2009. Drivers do seem to have improved in 2010/11 - though I use the service less regularly and could be mistaken. All events were not just repeatedly but consistently experienced in the year listed.

It opened in June 2023, one of 3 brand new underground DTLA stations servicing the newly reconfigured A and E lines. It is pretty far underground, so the working elevators were useful. Normally we pass right by it, since it's just a stop on our way to Little Tokyo, Chinatown, or Pasadena. But this time, we needed to go to Sunday mass at the Cathedral so got off here. Since you would head NE, taking the exit to go over the pedestrian bridge would save one having to wait for a stoplight.

It was part of the Union Pacific Railroad routes for passengers and cargo into the 1980s. It's a nice neighborhood stop and can be viewed from the outside building.

Dear Disneyland Guest Relations,…read more I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding the treatment my family--and most importantly, my autistic grandson--received during our visit to your parks on March 18. This day was meant to be a joyful and unforgettable milestone: my grandson's very first visit to Disneyland. Our family invested a significant amount of money in park tickets and additionally purchased Lightning Lane passes specifically to help accommodate his autism, as he has significant difficulty waiting in long lines. What we did not anticipate were the extreme weather conditions, with temperatures reaching into the 90s. This made an already challenging situation even more difficult for my grandson, who was struggling to regulate in the heat and crowds. While waiting in line, a cast member observed our situation and kindly informed us that Disneyland offers services for guests with disabilities--something we were never made aware of prior to that moment. Hoping for support, we proceeded to Guest Services at California Adventure after finishing at Disneyland Park. Unfortunately, what followed was one of the most upsetting and degrading experiences I have ever encountered at any theme park. We were assisted by a cast member named Aubrey (from New Mexico), whose approach was shockingly lacking in compassion and professionalism. Instead of being treated with understanding, we were subjected to repeated, deeply personal, and intrusive questioning about my grandson's condition. I clearly explained that we had official documentation from Social Security verifying his autism diagnosis, yet this was dismissed, and the questioning continued. We were asked to explain how we "handle" him, details about his schooling, and other personal matters that felt entirely inappropriate and unnecessary. The tone and manner in which these questions were asked made us feel judged rather than supported. Most concerning of all was the impact on my grandson. He became visibly uncomfortable, withdrawn, and ashamed emotions no child should ever experience, especially in a place that is supposed to be welcoming, inclusive, and magical. As his grandmother, it was heartbreaking to watch him feel singled out and embarrassed simply for being who he is. This interaction completely overshadowed what should have been a beautiful memory for our family. I was so upset that I wanted to leave the park entirely. However, my grandson was in tears because he had been looking forward to riding the Cars attraction. At that point, my sister-in-law had to step in and advocate on our behalf because I was too distressed to continue the interaction. The only accommodation ultimately offered to us was a one-time pass for the Cars ride--despite the two-hour wait and everything we had just experienced. This felt dismissive and wholly inadequate given the circumstances. I cannot emphasize enough how unacceptable this experience was. We have visited other theme parks such as Legoland and SeaWorld, where individuals with disabilities are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion--without being subjected to what feels like an interrogation process. Disneyland promotes itself as a place for all families, yet our experience reflected the opposite. No family should have to justify a child's disability in such a personal and humiliating manner just to receive basic accommodations. Considering the significant financial investment required to visit your parks, this experience was not only disappointing--it was deeply upsetting and, frankly, inexcusable. I am requesting that this incident be formally reviewed, that appropriate action be taken regarding the conduct we experienced, and that additional training be provided to cast members on how to respectfully and compassionately assist guests with disabilities and their families. I would also appreciate a response outlining how Disneyland intends to address this matter, as well as consideration of appropriate compensation for the distress and negative impact this had on our family's experience. Always banners, beautiful window displays, shops, little snack kiosks and seeing so many different matching hats, t shirts, Mickey ears and balloons. If you come before the holidays the entire area is decorated and the happiest place on earth takes on a new magic all its own. Some families even come in matching pajamas but once it warms up they'll probably need new attire. Come to be dazzled and watch the kid in you be in big eyed wonder and happiness just takes flight.

Returning from Union Station, I exited the Wilshire/Fairfax Station and found it very clean with plenty of security and cleaning crews. There were Ambassadors, Metro Security; which looks like real cops, and LAPD officers. The train was also very clean with no graffiti. It was a Tuesday evening around 8p and the station was not too busy. The subway was on time and ran efficiently. At this station is Museum Row, (several great museums within walking distance) and close to the Grove and the Original Farmers Market. This area of LA/Beverly Hills is very vibrant with many restaurants, bars, hotels, and shopping within a short distance. Metro Los Angeles has done a great job of making their busses, trains, and stations clean and safe. I hope this continues indefinitely as this will attract more and new riders. I was very pleased.

Beautiful section of the train, so much history in the Lilly Belle car. I still have a special certificate I was given to celebrate my 21st birthday (been a few years, quit a few actually) and I never intend to cash that in. But I have had the opportunity to sit back here while on the Walk in Walt's Footsteps and it is amazing! So comfy and just special.

One of the most magical experiences any Disney fan can have is a ride on the Lilly Belle!…read more She is a Victorian era parlor car whose devour was originally overseen by Lillian Disney herself (fyi she is who the LB is named after)! Since her introduction, she has transported an Emperor, VIP guests and lucky Park guests alike around Disneyland. Being able to ride in the Lily Belle is a special treat that can happen if you are taking a specific Railroad associated Guided Tour, but know that if the temperatures are too high the day/time you are there they will not bring her out and you will NOT get to ride in it. Club 33 guests, VIP's and occasionally random lucky guests can get a chance to experience the Lilly Belle- if you are ever so inclined to receive an offer don't hesitate! The decor is rich and filled with history- no spoilers will be given here! Part of the fun of the experience is learning about these things while on your excursion! If you ever are presented with the opportunity to ride the Lilly Belle, do not hesitate! It's any Disney lovers experience of a lifetime!
