Free parking and tons of parking.
Ticha B.

Free park and ride, right next to the 5/91 freeways. Easy in and out from the local freeways. Tons of parking. The occasional CHP parked in the lot. 5 minutes from Disneyland and Knotts in Fullerton. I wouldn't leave valuables in the car though. As with any public open parking lots, park in well lit areas and with the crowds. It isn't 100% safe.

My friends and I parked here and carpooled experiences. It was decently lit and it was free. Nice central place to meet up.

The station itself isn't that big with a couple of seating inside and the ticket counters to the opposite end. They do have public restrooms around the corner which is for ticket holders. Apparently you don't need a key to enter but whenever there's no one, they're alway locked. It's a pain when you have to get someone to open it, if they do. Anyway, there's maybe two attendant working at a time. Two sides of the track with a bridge the connect you to the opposite side of the tracks. They do have a good amount of trains that run along the tracks. It's pretty well organized but the only downfall, a lot of the schedule tends to run behind. I've had my train delayed a few times by half and hour and continue to go longer. Last time it was over an hour which I ended up having to get an uber to pick me up from the station in Fullerton to downtown LA. You really don't have control of the schedule and track but it's happened quite often lately. The station also has a mini station restaurant that serves food and drinks. It's right next door to the ticket station with more seating outside the patio than inside. Your typical snack shop but with hot food made to order. On the other side of the station is the bus depot. It's located in downtown Fullerton so there loads of restaurants nearby if you wanted something more substantial. The station itself is nice and well maintained with a good amount of parking. Only downfall, scheduling can be off course quite often.

We planned a trip from Fullerton to San Diego in the business class section of the train…read more I can honestly say that business class is the way to go. We had plenty of leg room, and it was a smooth ride. The train crew were polite, and super friendly. Making it a much more enjoyable experience. Not to mention the snacks they offer. That's always a plus. My only complaint and reason for 4 stars is the un-manned information booth at the Fullerton station, where our day started. We had a couple of questions because we needed assistance on where we had to board. There were no employees in sight. We found ourselves having to ask other riders if we were at the right location. Aside that little bump in the road, everything went smooth. We definitely had an awesome experience and will be looking forward to future trips on Amtrak.

There were two main issues with this station: 1. No employees were visible anywhere in the station. Many passengers felt confused about where to go or had questions regarding their trips. The sign on the information window explained that no staff were available because they were trainside- those with questions searched repeatedly for employees but found none. 2. The PA system was very hard to hear due to heavy static, and in Area 1, the Business section, messages broadcast to other parts of the loading platforms were nonexistent. Customers waiting to board tried to help each other. Despite these two issues, I would definitely use this station again.

Yelp 2015 Challenge #37…read more OCTA Route 57. Or I guess, it would be the OCTA in general. Why you never on time ): There are no guarantees at all at what time that Bus Route 57 comes. It's within 10-20 minutes of the "posted" time that is on the website. Be very wary that some 57 busses stop in Fullerton before CSUF and some don't go all the way to Fashion Island! Ask the bus driver before entering. The bus runs every 30 minutes and takes you (mostly) from the Southern terminus of Fashion Island-Newport Transportation Center. It goes all the way, following CA SR-57 to the Brea Mall. It uses Jamboree to Bristol and then change paths to go up State College. It passes by South Coast Plaza and other fundertastical places xD. You definitely get a bang for your buck if you choose to spend $2 to go from FI to Brea Mall haha. It just takes up your time. Yeah the low stars are definitely for the time, but it's public transportation in the OC. It's ite. xD The busses that travel this route usually are those double busses that are connected in the middle. So there is space and they know that a lot of people have to take this bus :P If you have time and need to travel along this route, take the bus. $4 both ways ain't too shabby.
