Not to be confused with the Red Carpet Car Wash on NE 3rd, this is the location on SE 3rd. There is a difference! Great service, fair prices, friendly people, beautiful outcome and a funky - small town type store / waiting room associated. What's not to like? A "Gold" exterior wash that includes a light polish and hand drying of the exterior is only about $9. (There is a less expensive option than Gold which does not include the polish.) For an extra $9 you can spring for an interior clean, which includes window cleaning. (We have all weather mats, including a cargo area mat, in our SUV and they even remove them for washing and drying too as part of the interior clean.) From the friendly greeting you get the moment you arrive until they thank you for coming when they hand you the keys to your nice clean car when you leave, you feel as if the employees really value your business. Which makes my husband feel good about supporting a local business like this, even if he typically prefers to wash the car himself and does most of the time. The outcome here is always top notch, and that assessment is based on years of being Red Carpet customers. We've even bought Red Carpet Gold Wash gift certificates in bundles for a hard to buy for relative who is particular about his car staying clean and how it is washed and he has high praise for the outcome here too. Red Carpet provides a large waiting room where you can wait on our car as it is being washed. (The drill here is you have to exit your vehicle.) It is complete with black pleather (that is not a typo) sofas and a big (old style) TV. (Does it work? I don't know. I've never noticed it on.) They also have lots of small tables and chairs, free local newspapers to read, big coolers full of things like Red Bull and sodas to buy, lots of practical "kitsch" for sale like garden gloves, sun glasses, a fun assortment of greeting cards and even a little sandwich deli counter. I wished I'd had my camera with me to take photos because the waiting room images would have helped to tell the story of care put into customer comfort, even for a little car wash. This is not the Ritz, but it fits. Not to mention that when I went to the deli counter to pay for a couple of greeting cards (I still thinking sending cards via "snail mail" is cool to do - call me a dinosaur), I noted how friendly the counter folks were and how clean and organized the kitchen area was, including the specialty coffee bar. Food special today, a turkey - bacon wrap for under five bucks I noted. It's that kind of place. Worth a pat on the back for them too to note that loo, while spartan, is spotless. I guess it seems odd to give five stars to a car wash. But in the universe or car washes in Central Oregon, Red Carpet shines. read more

It's late June and was well staffed w high school and college kids who took the time to pre spray my dirty roadtrip vehicle. UPDATE: The owner saw my review and reached out to me right away. They offered for me to bring my vehicle back in and they would redo it. I took it back in the following day and they cleaned everything that they had missed. I highly appreciated it First of all they told me it would take four or five hours and they would call me when it was done. Then seven hours passed and I hadn't heard anything so I called them, They said it would be done in about a half an hour but I gave them a whole hour extra however when I picked it up they said they just finished it and it seems very half a**ed cleaned inside. The cupholders were not clean, they visible didn't clean the other storage holders in the middle console, the windows still has Smear marks all over them and only the front panels on the door were cleaned, they did not clean the panels, or vacuum or do anything in the very back third row seating at all. It honestly looks like they just put a shiny grease on everything make it look like it's clean and sparkling. I'm a little disappointed considering how much I paid for this interior detail. When I got home I went down with my own cleaner and wiped down the inside where I could see they had missed and the amount of dirt that came off on my towel was more than it should have been for freshly detailed. I wanted to give 4 stars because I believe every place could work in some aspect to make their service better. But honestly I have no complaints. MAYBE the kids drying off the cars could come across like they enjoyed their jobs a little bit.....but that's truly nitpicking. We had tons of bugs on the front of our car. You couldn't even see the body of the car in front. In fact, the windows were so bad we had to stop to clean them after we drove past Klamath lake. We are traveling from Minnesota and stopped for a car wash at this location on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. The car wash went smoothly. After our car was washed we were directed to stop nearby. Horrible management/owners, who could care less about anyone but themselves and the ol' mighty dollar that they swindle their customers out of by doing a half ass job and charging exuberant fees! The staff is a bunch of poorly trained children that use this as a first job (although they are not at fault and quite honestly taken advantage of by these people) and these kids are subjected to what can only be described as abuse and harassment in the workplace by their supervisors! Hard pressed to find a single person (not in management) that has worked there for 6 months...and believe me it shows in the service they provide! This is a horrible example of business in Bend and is a disgusting example of how a business should be run. The very brief encounter I had with the "owner" was less than encouraging and he hardly seems smart enough to run a gumball machine let alone an entire business! There was a miscommunication at the front for the type of car wash I wanted and when I went to pay the cashier said "20 more" instead of approaching me nicely about the confusion. Rating says it all! Meh!! Don't know where all of the 4 and 5 star rating folks are from. Thinking this is their first automated car wash experience? Thinking back 20 years, probably give this a ****. But by "modern" standards, to put bluntly, this place sucks as a car wash. It's more of a dirt mover than a wash. Dirt from one part of the car to another. Dirty drip trails that when I pointed them out to the teen doing the wipe down said, "Well, it's not perfect." Not perfect...at $35 a pop it had better be near perfect. I admire that the place hires teens to work but the ethic is lacking. At the risk of igniting a politically incorrect exchange, I come from SoCal. The finishers there are predominantly Hispanic. But they know how to clean a car. $29 clean and your car shines like a dime in a goat's behind! What I like most about the oil change service is that they don't try to sell you more than what you paid for. Then after the polite and professional oil change service, they said a car wash was included in the deal! And the car wash people were excellent in their thoroughness and in their pleasant manner. Not sure about the other review, it was over a year ago so things may have changed, but I was very disappointed with my car wash. I am not super picky, but I did pay for the platinum wash at $25 and at that price I expected more. The good sides are that they are friendly and fast (although maybe fast is not a good thing in this case). The bad thing is my car was not cleaned very well. Especially my tire rims. There were spots that were clean with lots of spots in-between that hadn't even been touched. A few days after I had the wash, I also noticed in the sun glare on my windshield that there was a bunch of streaks on the inside. The cup holder wasn't completely clean. A few spots on the interior of the car look like they grazed over it too quickly without giving much attention to detail. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but I was sorely disappointed. And I wanted to at least share my experience, lest any others are misled by a 5 star review. If they were good, they aren't anymore. read more

I rarely leave reviews but the service here warrants one. This is a high-integrity place. And for that reason alone i would return. Over Labor Day weekend i brought in my 4 Runner. During the course of the wash, the radio antenna got bent/broken. Upon returning my car, the manager explained what happened, and said that they would fix it provided there were parts in stock. He gave me his card and said he would call. Problem is, i was visiting for the weekend, and i admit my initial concern was that i was going to get slow rolled until it would just be easier to fix myself. (cynical, i know). So I drive away and run a quick errand while figuring out what to do. I end up calling the Toyota dealer parts desk to check stock, and what a coincidence, the Red Carpet guy had just picked up an antenna from there. I return to the car wash and they fixed the antenna in about 10mins. Really pretty amazing. I have read some other reviews commenting on the hard working young people. I agree, and it is nice to see. My little silver fox Neon takes a beating and gets caked in dust and snow dirt and debris driving over the mountain passes, out to backcountry hikes and alpine lakes for CO adventures. Back in the day I used to enjoy spending a sunny Saturday washing and cleaning out my car. But who has time for that as a busy adult who wants to get out and play? This is where Red Carpet Car Wash comes in. A basic full service wash and interior clean will run you $18. The staff are polite and efficient. The large waiting room with couches, tv and magazines are a good place to wait on a cold day. This past weekend with 75 degree weather I sat outside and got my vitamin D fix. Depending on how busy it is, the service can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes. They always do a great job cleaning out all the window sealings, crevasses and polish the hubcaps. I love having time to catch up on my reading and walk away with a shiny new(ish) looking silver fox car. read more

We are vacationing in Bend for a few days and the car was a disaster from the road trip and hiking with 2 dogs. I wasn't expecting a miracle but at least the visible dog hair to be taken care of. I would argue my brand new car is worse than when we got there as they scratched some of the interior with whatever towels they were using. Also, not even the outside of the car is clean. I would have been better off doing it myself. Now I'm sad that my car is scratched and I wasted my time and money. The service was friendly, but a drive through and self vacuum would've been more affordable and less damaging to my car. read more

Was in Bend on short notice so unable to get my MB CLS in for full detailing. No problem getting Ultimate Deluxe exterior/interior wash, though, and the result was impressive for $40. Plus a good tip for the friendly folks who performed the services. All ready to drive out in less than an hour. I doubt one could do better for the money at any other car wash. I highly recommend the South Location for an excellent car wash. read more

One star. Took my car here in February for the first time and the results really only made me sad that the Bend community has an establishment that lacks basic ethics in business. The front counter girl immediately pressured me into getting cash back for tips! Later I witnessed a manager stepping up to an young employee while yelling at them about who knows what. Really???? Way to make the business look good. To put icing on the cake, my car was still dirty after an hour and a half of waiting. Last 3 times I've been there the service has been rediculous. The KIDS are rude right from the get go, the washes are ok, but the interior is where they get lazy :( floor wasn't done all the way even after asking them to focus on the floor. Wow!! Terrible wash. Poor customer service. $23 for a premium wash. It wasn't busy. They said it was done, yet outside was not even close to clean. Inside was better, but still really dirty. They ran it through again, inside and outside. Better, but not even worth the price of a gas station $6 wash. Find another location, this place is a never return!!! I wrote a complaint to management. ONE month later I got a sorry, trouble keeping employees. Come back and try again and tell me how it was. Poor example of management relates to poor performance of employees. Prices getting higher and higher and quality getting poorer and poorer. Paid $30 today for an 'Ultimate' wash. Employees spent more time chatting to one another than attending to business. Employee used one towel - on wheels, door jams, windows and body work. Steaks everywhere and many places not even towered off. Had to point out so many that after a while I just left. Been a customer since the wash opened. Dramatic change in quality of service. Use a hose in your driveway and save 30 bucks. You will end up with a better looking car. They need to hire some adults who really know how to work - didn't see a supervisor for the hour I was there. read more

The inside of my car doesn't even look like it got wiped down and my seats were not vacuum because there's still a ton of sand in all the cracks I was there for over an hour I'm not really sure what they did $60 is a lot of money to me and I expected a $60 job which is what I did not get I'm hoping that management will reach out to me to make this right because I really like to find a place where I can take my car. read more

Took a couple of old pickup seats into the Detail Shop part of this business to have them cleaned and I thought it would be impossible to get the mold and dirt off them - but they said "No problem". Went back the next day and could not believe the results - they even got a big nasty spot off that looked like road tar - could not even tell it had been there - WOW! Now we are going to take the car in and have the whole interior done next week - we sure appreciated the great service and the nice price! read more
