PROS: -decent sized space between tables and hi-tops throughout dining area, a large wrap-around bar, a sun-room-esque space of the northeast corner, and an outdoor patio area -extensive menu of variety that includes sandwiches, pizza, and mexican -server was friendly and efficient throughout our meal experience -Texas Twist Pretzel ($15.95) filled out what would typically be used for a 12-14" pizza and had the height of a deep dish. Nice crunchy and salty exterior with a soft bread interior. You may select 3 from their 4 sauce offerings for dipping. We chose the beer cheese, nacho cheese, and brew pub mustard. Mustard was sweet, which was OK, but we were hoping for something leaning more into the spicy zone. The four of us ate maybe 2/3rds of it before our meals arrived. Very different from anywhere else I have seen and would definitely consider again. -Wife and I shared a 12" Veggie Pizza ($19.95 on menu, but noticed we were charged $9.25 on receipt) that looks like a Pizza King pizza, but is much heavier. It was generously loaded with cheese in addition to mushroom, onion, green pepper, and olive. We ate a little more than half of it. Absolutely would consider ordering this again. -Father-in-law ordered the Fish Sandwich (12.95), which is advertised as an 8" filet served on a hoagie bun. It looked all of that size when it came out and he seemed to enjoy it. He took half of it home. CONS: -Acoustics in the main dining area can make it difficult to have a conversation at your table. -Father-in-law asked if we could eat in the sun-room space, due to his hearing aids, but he was told it was reserved for 4 hours later that afternoon, so we were seated in the main area. (Discouraged as we saw a family seated in the sun-room space an hour later after the main area had mostly filled.) -[*I didn't learn about most of this until afterwards, otherwise I probably would have said something.]. Daughter ordered the Chicken Wrap Dinner Special ($10.95), which can be ordered grilled or breaded (she ordered grilled), came with cheddar cheese, shaken in choice of sauce (she ordered buffalo), and is served with fresh chips and cole slaw. The cole slaw is mayo-based instead of vinegar as she was hoping. Her chips, while to their credit were freshly made, were not completely finished as several of them were still raw. She said there was no buffalo flavor to her chicken and it just tasted blah. On top of that, she felt miserable the rest of the day, so we're questioning the handling of the chicken. OVERALL: -Only initial hiccup was where we were seated, so I would have leaned more towards a 4.5 star review. After learning about the multiple issues with my daughter's experience, would probably lean more 3.5 for our family as a whole. Bottom line, would return and order the pretzel, pizza, and other sandwiches, but stay away from the chicken options and perhaps make sure they finish preparing the chips if you get them. read more

My brother and I shared a Red Front Royal served hot right from the oven and topped with all the usual stuff -- sausage, pepperoni, bacon, mushroom, olive, peppers, etc. Was it the best pizza I've ever had? No. Was it a darn good pizza? You bet. We went mid-afternoon and there was hardly anyone there. Stopped by for a late lunch & were seated immediately. The ambiance is typical sports bar with plenty of TV screens. The menu features a nice variety & not just pizza. The subs are made from scratch as is the pizza & salads. The burgers are fresh - not frozen. Appetizers come in frozen & salad dressings are not homemade so I'd probably not order those. The pizza was tasty but the toppings are ground up into minuscule pieces. If a topping were missing, you probably wouldn't know it. The server said the toppings come in prepackaged. Another server who was extremely pleasant. His place is still a place to grab a beer with friends, and there were several people doing so at the bar. This place was packed again, started with the smoked wings again, and again they were incredible. I also ordered a breaded tenderloin sandwich, good not great. If you are in Indiana - then you know what a tenderloin sandwich is, if you don't then ask! Seems like a sports bar crossed with modern industrial, and it doesn't work. Place is cavernous, very loud in an annoying way. Crawling with children. At least they don't call it a bar in the name; points for the honesty. I found the atmosphere cold and sterile. All the tables are high top. Our waitress was sweet and did her best to serve. We had to YELL at each other to be understood. My husband was delighted to see Yuengling Flight on the beer list but they were out of it. Server mentioned that was the second time today someone wanted a beer and they were out. There was one frazzled bartendress who had to pull all the drinks for four waitresses and about 15 tables in addition to the folks at the bar, which explains why it took so long for my husband's second choice beer to arrive only to discover it was not the one ordered. I made it very clear the "pizza" was to be cut like an actual pizza pie not in those disgusting squares that you see so often here. Star added because they came through on that. The sausage topping was just little tiny bits of ground sausage hidden under the cheese. Pencil eraser size. The onions were even smaller. It was hot, and adequate. Food was decent as usual. I ordered online and received a text that my pizza was ready. I entered and stood at the hostess stand for a good 5 minutes. The entire restaurant could see me standing there including the young hostess who was at a table chatting with her friends. She was facing me the entire time. I even motioned with my hands open to gesture "what's going on?". She looked at me and smirked, almost as if to mock me. This is the MOST crisp crust on a cauliflower crust pizza I have ever had. You can choose from several different sauces, I went with the garlic butter instead of marinara for the base and was so pleased with the flavor. I filled my pizza with mushrooms, bacon and banana peppers. I asked the waitress if she recommended extra cheese or regular cheese? She said the regular cheese was definitely adequate and she was so correct. I LOVED this pizza. The atmosphere is fun, filled with plenty of TV's and good lighting. We just moved to Richmond and were told this was a great place to go. Decided to try it out for a late lunch on a weekday. First, it took a while to get seated. Hated the high bar height tables. As someone who isn't very tall, the chairs were just uncomfortable. Then came the wait for the food. It was a solid 30 minutes. Then the burger was cooked within an inch of its poor life. Pretty much any place I have had a burger has been better than that overpriced dry as sawdust burger I was served. Another issue was that between the concrete floor and tall ceilings it is just way too loud. I could barely hear my husband across the table. I can't even imagine how bad it would be during a really busy time. Service wasn't a stand out either. It was... fine. Due to the long wait for the food, the price, and just how horribly overcooked the burger was it will be a good long while before we try it again. read more

Thumbs up! We decided to stop on the way out of town for a quick bite and it was great and delicious. Definitely a sports bar theme inside. We were seated super fast. I'd say about half full when we got there and the crowd just kept coming in. We were waited on very fast and are drinks arrived quickly. We placed our food order and the wait time was very acceptable for the growing crowd. We ordered Meat pizza and a Pam Italian Sub. The pizza was hot, cheesy and good, I'll give it 4/5 on the pizza scale but the sandwich I got to give 5/5! It was incredible. Cooked to perfection and the red pepper sauce was amazing! Sweet followed by spicy was a perfect pairing for this Italian Sub. It was delicious and very good. We will definitely bring eating here again. I visited this restaurant since my client took a group of us here. It has the usual dishes a pizza / sports bar would have; it also has Mexican food dishes. Upon pulling up to the driveway, I immediately figured this was probably a regional chain restaurant. After briefly looking at the menu, they also have some unusual menu items such as: deep fried banana peppers, fried green beans, broccoli poppers, cold subs, a sloppy joe, and coney dogs. I ordered the 10 pc smoked wings with mango habanero and Carolina gold flavors (with ranch). I also ordered the onion rings. The waitress claimed they were hand breaded. I also got to try some apps the table ordered: cheese sticks and pretzel sticks. These are your typical apps. The sticks however came with a white queso which was pretty good. The kitchen initially brought out only 4 of one flavor, and 5 of the other. I was too busy talking and didn't immediately notice but they brought out 2 more of the one flavor the shorted me on. That was the flavor I liked the most, Carolina gold. The mango habanero flavor was a little off, and not nearly as good as wingstop or bw3 for comparison. The so called hand breaded onion rings did not taste or look handbreaded. The waitress was obviously a little confused. Everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy their food as they ordered burgers, Mexican and a cold sub, nobody complained. We tried to order a dessert, deep fried cheesecake, but they ended up being out of that. Then we ordered the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. The place is really clean and looks to be a fun atmosphere. I ordered chicken chunks and a pepperoni pizza to go. They messed up my order, they cut it the wrong way, It's ok though.... The flavor of the pizza is good. Not to much sauce and the right amount of seasoning. They didn't give me disposable cutlery but I have learned a lot of places don't anymore. Awesome sandwich with carmelized melted cheese on the bread, and plenty of meat and veggies. The house chips were so damn good. The slaw was basic but sweet, creamy, and delicious. I came into town to visit family and Dr used to call in for a carryout order and my experience and service with the Manager and Staff was unprofessional. I called in to place my carryout order and was placed on hold several times due o the cashier unable to hear me. After, finally being able to place my order, I asked what was the amount and she told me $55.00+., I told her for what I had order was too expensive and don't not charge my credit card. But those words came out of my mouth she had charged my credit card. Experience with the Manager, I was truly baffled with her responses to me and her non-resolution responses. It is obvious to my that additional training is needed for ALL Staff members. I have asked to speak with the District Manager, for the last 4 days and being told that he will be in in the morning, he makes his own hours, I would have tried to provide my return call information but I don't trust staff to give him the information. We love Red Front for their great food, affordability, and family-friendliness. They have a little bit of something and their menu for everybody in our family, even the picky eaters. And we can feed our teenagers here without breaking the bank. Their subs are awesome, but they also have really great nachos, pizza, salads, and Coney dogs. All of our family would agree. If you can handle it, order one of their Texas pretzels for an appetizer. For like $12, you get a huge pretzel with three dipping sauces. And I mean this thing is huge, it's like pizza sized. They are family friendly, there is a bar and it is separated by a half wall. They have patio seating with garage doors that open up when the weather is warm. And lots of big screen TVs with sports playing that are viewable from all of the tables. The tables are all mostly high tops, I believe. The restaurant just opened in 2020. read more

Excellent establishment! Open concept when you walk in. Very large U-shaped bar. Very clean. It was our first time visiting. We sat at the bar. I ordered a 9 inch pizza with several toppings on it and my son ordered a mushroom Swiss burger. The food was excellent. We had a couple beers. They have 5 to 6 beers on tap. Full liquor offering. What I liked most about the restaurant is the high ceilings and open concept. They also have garage doors that they can open to the outside to let the air in and they do have a patio. It is located right off of interstate 70 so it's very accessible. Plenty of parking as it is right next to a large strip mall. Everything about our visit was excellent and we will be back to try more of their food. They had a very extensive menu including wings, burgers, tacos, and of course the pizza. read more

I have had the nachos they're the best nachos I've ever had and the taco pizza. My husband had the pepperoni and hamburger pizza and we will both agree it is the best pizza we've had since in Europe the crust was just right crispy on the outside and the crust was flaky in the inside and we just got the personal pan ones the 6 inch I believe not too greasy I cant say enough about how it was to find a good pizza 30 mile radius!! This was a great place for pizza and drinks. They had a lot of other items that sounded really good, but I went with the 12 inch deluxe pizza. The taste was amazing and it was more than enough for two people. We had leftovers for sure. The service was on point. They had us seated as we got in there. My favorite place to eat and drink, all the staff that I have interacted with have been very nice and professional, me and my wife love to eat at the bar and play pull tabs, the food is always good and I haven't found anything I don't like yet, chicken chunks are my #1 go to as they are freshly beaded and aren't 80% breading like at some other places. It can get a little loud sometimes when games are on but hey that's a sports bar for ya so it doesn't bother me as much as it does my wife, and it's also a very family friendly place that we bring our daughter too as well.
