We checked in after 6pm, so check in instructions were texted to us. Easy to follow. Was easy to find. We stopped at Wally's Pizza for dinner in Cameron Park based off their restaurant suggestions on their website and sent via text check in instructions. Great suggestion! The next mornings breakfast is texted the night before, offering some options like juice preference. And it's delivered around 9am the next morning. Since we had to be at rafting at 9 our first morning at the Inn, they delivered us fruit, scones, and juice early at 8:15am which was really nice. Breakfast was delicious, both mornings. And super fresh. We stayed in the Cypress room. Was as pictured online. Room was clean. The patio area is nice. We explored the grounds a bit our last morning and saw many places to sit around. We enjoyed some time up at the pond in the morning. The staff - I assume owners - were very friendly. We were very happy with our stay here and would return!

While it's a bit of a distance to the actual venue, it was well worth it for the quiet, calm and very relaxing environment. Beautiful property and I wish I had time to use the pool outside. We stayed in the Bella Vista honeymoon suite. I loved it. It allowed my husband and I to talk. There's a calming and clarifying vibe to the room and the place in general. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would stay here again if I was in the area 100%. I think about this place from time to time. I actually miss it!

She then proceeded to keep two nights stay and only refund the rest. This is not good customer service and is not acceptable. Not a place I would recommend for guests to stay in Placerville. The car would not start and I could not make it down to the charger, which is only 1 mile There is a level-2 tesla charger here, but it has not yet been approved by the county to use for public EV charging. it's only meant for employees and owners. Regardless, since I rolled in on 0% battery charge, they made a exception and let me plug in for a little while so that I can actually make it up to the level 3 charger in the morning. The rooms are clean and quiet. 1st floor rooms have a gated patio out back thats nice breathing in that fresh mountain air.

We arrived to a note on the door advising us to check in at Gold Trail Motor Lodge with an address. It was dark when we arrived and we had no idea where this place would be. This started us off feeling really off... but that didn't stop us from checking in --- the Gold Trail Motor Lodge happens to be right next door. It was dark and didn't feel safe walking over at night. We booked our hotel through Expedia, which offered "Free Breakfast" with our booking. The breakfast included those super cheap cheese danish's and the in-room coffee. It should be noted, the in-room coffee was enough for 2 small cups of coffee. No refills for us, i guess. The decor is old & there was wallpaper peeling off the walls; however, it was clean and appeared to be pest-free. The pool was open, it was very clean. This was a great experience for the price and with the understanding that we were *not* staying in a 5-star hotel.

We show up and the man working the desk said the dog cannot be left alone and it is an extra fee. He only wanted cash for the extra fee but settled for a Venmo for the fee. We left for a short period of time and he called to complain about the dog so I came back immediately and he deactivated my key card and would not allow me to go back into the room. He then proceeded to yell at me and say "I snuck into the room when the cleaners were cleaning". That was after he stated he let me know not to leave the dog alone. He also said that my dog was in a "non dog friendly room" even though he gave us the keys to the room. The way he yelled at me and would not let me back into the room to get my belongings or dog was absolutely insane and horrifying. Let him know the police were on the way, when I was standing outside of the room a younger worker came out and said "would you like to go into the room?" And I said yes, then he let me in and I let him know that the police were on the way for the man working at the front desk. I understand not being able to leave the dog alone, but letting us know that beforehand I would've made other arrangements. The worst experience ever! Do not give this business any money ! I'd give zero stars if I was able to.
