We checked in after 6pm, so check in instructions were texted to us. Easy to follow. Was easy to find. We stopped at Wally's Pizza for dinner in Cameron Park based off their restaurant suggestions on their website and sent via text check in instructions. Great suggestion! The next mornings breakfast is texted the night before, offering some options like juice preference. And it's delivered around 9am the next morning. Since we had to be at rafting at 9 our first morning at the Inn, they delivered us fruit, scones, and juice early at 8:15am which was really nice. Breakfast was delicious, both mornings. And super fresh. We stayed in the Cypress room. Was as pictured online. Room was clean. The patio area is nice. We explored the grounds a bit our last morning and saw many places to sit around. We enjoyed some time up at the pond in the morning. The staff - I assume owners - were very friendly. We were very happy with our stay here and would return!

There's also a fire pit that's gorgeous at night, and plenty of bird feeders. If you enjoy birdwatching, this is the place as there are a variety of different feathered visitors that come by this naturally beautiful retreat. While it's a bit of a distance to the actual venue, it was well worth it for the quiet, calm and very relaxing environment. Beautiful property and I wish I had time to use the pool outside. We stayed in the Bella Vista honeymoon suite. I loved it. It allowed my husband and I to talk. There's a calming and clarifying vibe to the room and the place in general. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would stay here again if I was in the area 100%. I think about this place from time to time. I actually miss it!

No, the next thing is ice: there's an ice machine on floor one, but it doesn't work and it's not labeled as such which immediately in still panic in me when I realized that my hotel room libations may have to be consumed room temperature. The car would not start and I could not make it down to the charger, which is only 1 mile There is a level-2 tesla charger here, but it has not yet been approved by the county to use for public EV charging. it's only meant for employees and owners. Regardless, since I rolled in on 0% battery charge, they made a exception and let me plug in for a little while so that I can actually make it up to the level 3 charger in the morning. The rooms are clean and quiet. 1st floor rooms have a gated patio out back thats nice breathing in that fresh mountain air.

She acted very suspicious of me almost blaming me for having other people who are going to sleep there, which wasn't the case at all. Then she l ask me accusatorial way if I had a dog. Then she said, do you even have a car? Of course, I had a car. The next day, I was about to check out and got a call from her saying that the housekeeper smelled marijuana in my room. The housekeeper never came into my room. The housekeeper was banging on my door at nine in the morning hence checkout at 11. I opened the door a very small crack and she was standing several feet from the door and I said I'll be out at 11. I know she didn't like that. The whole marijuana thing came from just judgment and profiling me having long hair and her knowing that she could try to charge me a deposit for her already nasty ass room. The front desk owner lady had already made all this up and the housekeeper never said anything about marijuana. The beds are dilapidated. The carpet is disgusting. The room looks like a prison cell. The plumbing doesn't work, sinks are all stopped up. The bed I swear was from 1965. The curtains and decor looked like something from that 70s show. The curtains had to be 50 years old. They have springs in the mattress. You couldn't find a bed like this if you tried. Worst sleep ever!!! I told the lady I don't smoke marijuana and I don't know what the hell she's talking about. I never had any marijuana anywhere near her motel. Her husband got on the phone and started trying to talk to me about marijuana, and I told him I've never even met him and he's never even been to the room that I was in while I was in it. They have a slew of reviews on yelp that are terrible and explain how horrible this man and woman are. This business will not be here in 10 years. I called the bank, stopped payment on my bank card. I'm considering taking legal action against these people for harassment. Do yourself a favor and keep on trucking past that hell hole they call a motel.
