I went there because someone recommended as I like how this person hair looked. I was looking for a simple dye for my hair. I called a day before to make the appointment and seemed like their was availability. I told the girl on the phone I needed my hair dyed nothing more with Abby. She understood and she put me for my appointment. When I went in there the next day I came in at 1:10 and my appointment was at 1:30. I was greeted and asked about my appointment. At 1:15 Abby takes a customer. She starts dying this customer hair. It's 1:30 and Abby is still working on this woman. I'm thinking we'll maybe while she's working on hers she will work on my hair. I was wrong. She proceeds to take this customer to get her eyebrows waxed. She's taking her time not minding me at all. It gets to 1:50 after waiting over half hour I spoke up and asked when will be my turn as I had an appointment at 1:30. Abby acts surprise as she didn't know I was her next appointment stating she was busy. I said if she was unable to do my hair that day then they should have told me that when I made the appointment. She doesn't say anything to me but proceed to ask if my hair was clean. At this point I was fed up and infuriated on the way she was dismissive. I told her I wasn't waiting any longer as I had things to do. I left and I will never go back to this awful place which the location is not the most ideal either. This is what I get for not making an appointment with my hair stylist.

I love the color line and products they use. Also, the owner is clearly very passionate about his skill. As Donna was tending to my hair, I observed Aldo. His sculpting of each guests hair, is a true art. I wish I got the name of the kind lady who shampooed me too! She had such a kind and warm energy about her. I believe the energy of an environment improves the quality of results received. The team is great. I loved the environment and results. I asked for a touch up on the roots of my existing highlights and for a layered hair cut ending at my chest. From the start of the service, when I sat down, the hairstylist seemed confused about what I was asking her to do, I kept trying to tell her I just wanted the roots retouched of my existing highlights, I sectioned out the hair myself, and I even showed her pictures of myself with the highlights. She stated she understood what I was asking for. She ended up bloctchy bleach job, where left left a line of black and just bleached a chunk of new hair at the root but did not continue the highlight even though I had explicitly basked her not to give me more highlights and just touch what was already bleach and just has grow out. Then I had asked for a layered cut, which I wanted to end at my chest. She did an initial blunt cut to my chest but did no layers except for the front pieces. She asked if I wanted layers on the back of my head, to which I said yes. It was after she washed out my hair that she began cutting once more saying "no layers?" I once again told her I did want layers so she continued cutting, that's when I realized she had cut too much off. It felt like she did not know what she was doing as she kept asking a different stylist if the bleach lift was good and if she should rinse me out. The person in charge of the salon saw the end result, and let me walk out looking this horrible. Horrible experience, would never go back.

I've been a patron for probably at least five years. I like to change my color and style frequently and I am never disappointed with the end result. I trust their judgement when it comes to color and style. My hair doesn't hold color well, so I've been a little unsure when I've walked out of the salon, like the color is a little dark or the highlights are a little too noticeable, but a few washes later and my hair looks perfect. A couple of times my hair was a little shorter than I had hoped, but again, within a few days, it looks perfect. The salon itself isn't fancy, so you don't get the same spa feel but the space is bright and they use good hair products. The prices are extremely reasonable and you would likely pay more for stylists with the same experience with at another salon. I think the clientele is a reflection of the neighborhood. Sweet little older ladies, moms with their kids, middle age men, etc. I found them because I was looking for a salon that had online booking. They are very accommodating and warm. The waxing service is pretty good.
