Unfortunately some books can be judged by their cover. Cleanliness is what you want to see first & foremost, great food, reliable given reasonable service, & by others who recommend. This place needs a renovation. Ask Ramsey & maybe he'll help you! He would be dissatisfied to say the least!! Restaurants rely on 5 in all areas! Subpar isn't doable. I was in the business for years. Cleaning~~Bottles & tops are incessantly, front facing same way, fresh fruit cut daily, chairs are organized bar tables wiped, etc etc!! No bar flies, yuk, I never had a one. The creatures make every effort to be around sugary alcohols. I had a super slow night without a soul on site. I took a clean rag & launched it up to the white ceiling, kablam! The few who find their way in made the way out. I don't like killing Anything. They are little invaders who are not welcome at any of the best & bev-food industry. read more

Can I select ZERO STARS? "Lost" our order on Christmas Eve. TWICE. That's what they told us last year, and that's what they told us 2 1/2 hours after we ordered tonight. I get that it's Christmas Eve, and they're absolutely slammed, but this is ridiculous. Definitely will never order here again. Insane. read more

Not good but not overly awful either... just your average Chinese take out and I probably won't go out of my way to come here again when craving it. I figured I would give it a shot being a little closer than my normal go to... lesson learned that the extra 5 minute drive is worth the time. My break down : I will say their beef teriyaki was pretty good, flavorful and not chewy. The pork strips on the other hand were essentially like eating leather so they found their way to the trash. The fried rice is severely lacking in : flavor, vegetables (basically just onions), egg and was slightly crunchy. The chicken fingers were standard, puffy, greasy battered strips of chicken which required a hearty dunk in duck sauce to taste decent. Egg roll was actually decent. General Tso's chicken was quite possibly the worst I've ever had, something was seriously "off" on the sauce ... it had a bitter flavor for some reason, perhaps stale or just the taste of the can it came from. Overall even "bad" Chinese food is good when you're craving it and I ate what I could. One star for convenience and price and one star for quality and flavor ... it wasn't horrible but now that I know I can cross it off my list of "back up" Chinese take out places. read more

I thought their food was disgusting! The crab ragoons tasted like old dirty fry oil was used. The chicken fingers were doughy and again was that disgusting taste of old dirty oil. I had to spit the food out . I ate a fortune cookie to get the taste out of my mouth. The fortune cookie tasted like it had been stored in a musty old cellar. I took a bite of the egg foo young , which was okay. I was bummed to spend so much money but, didn't trust that the restaurant pays attention to cleanliness and proper storage and temperatures. pretty good lo mein and chow mein, chicken fingers above average too. fried rice was dry but it's Chinese take-out.......it is what it is. what was really crappy was that we looked at their website to look at a menu before calling the order in, gave them our credit card #- and when we unpacked the order at home we saw that the prices did not match the photo of the menu on the website ! every lunch special is $2.00 more than on website....heads up everyone ! not a nice surprise...... read more

Ordered a combo plate with chickens fingers, chicken wings, boneless spareribs. and pork fried rice. When I arrived home I had 1 chicken wing, three bite sized chicken fingers, a small portion of boneless spareribs along with two pounds of rice. Needless to say I was very disappointed with the order. I would not recommend to friends or family. read more

Some of the best tasting Asian cuisine I've had in along time. Left me feeling completely satisfied and wishing I could eat more. This restaurant has the best Chinese food in the area. I've ordered from here numerous times and only had the food be sub par once. Typically the food is delicious, well priced and ready in a reasonable amount of time. Overall great food for a small town Chinese restaurant but I gave it four stars because dining area is cold and uninviting. I suggest take out only. read more

Best Seafood Lo Mien I have ever had! their seafood lo mien is AMAZING... WORTH EVERY PENNY!

The best Chinese food I've had since I've moved to the area. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo and dumplings.

The service is cold (attitude), sometimes, downright nasty; the food is so-so at best and the restaraunt is freezing in the winter time. But, they're the only game (Chinese food) in this one-horse town. read more

This is the second family cooking there. First ones got the boot after their food went down hill. Second family was wonderful at first. Food was hot and NOT GREASY. I think they've gotten too comfortable and they too have hit rock bottom with the quality of what they serve. I'd give the actual food 4 stars but the atmosphere and cleanliness (or lack thereof) brings down my rating significantly. I had the general tso's chicken- yum! The egg roll and beef teriyaki were delicious as well. The chicken and broccoli was pretty gross- sketchy weird chicken. This place has five dining tables. With places to sit I'd figure they'd offer water to drink. Nope. They had some bottles in a cooler but no tap water and no ice. I thought that was really weird. The dining area is dingy, old and just plain gross. I wanted to vomit when I went into the bathroom- it was disgusting. I've been to their other restaurants- Maple Leaves in Wells and Green Leaves in York- and both of these places are clean, have good ambiance and great food. I was really disappointed with Red Leaves. Don't bother going there unless you're strictly getting take-out. And don't bother with the chicken and broccoli. read more
