Delicious hamburger, the restaurant overlooks the lake

We had a great stay. I look at the other reviews and it's hard to believe. It appears that they are upgrading the hotel as the lobby looks brand new, a lot of the floor coverings look brand new. We ate at the restaurant and it was very, very good. I would eat there again. They have an indoor pool, which was a good temperature. Our room opened up to a grassy area where our dogs could walk around. And amazing as it seems there was no pet fee -so many of the hotels nowadays are just gauging with the pet fee. Large areas for the dogs to run around The staff was very polite very helpful

I'd give it the worst Review. -5 stars. They have bed bugs and I have the pictures to prove it. I'd never stay here again. And would not recommend that anyone stay here

Not a bad little hotel. It was clean, fresh linens. The tub was huge and deep and clean. There was water damage/mold in one of the bathroom ceilings. We had a king bedroom with joining room with pull out couch. The patio was nice too. We woke up to get breakfast and there was no free breakfast. It was an $11 buffet, but the clerk gave us vouchers, I don't know why. Maybe she felt sorry for us for having a lot of kids lol.

On Saturday I checked my 80 year old father to the hotel. They never gave him new towels for the second night though prepayment was made for both. Today at 7am when he attempted to check out they informed him that he couldn't get a receipt or discharge orders because their system was down. At 5pm I went to the hotel and spoke to Kamini Sharma she said that we could not have one because we placed the order online.

When you check out and you leave items they will not call to return items I left 2 pool cues from my deceased father and they kept them.

I should have read the reviews. I counted my losses and left within 20 minutes of arriving and found a different place in Spokane.

I then walk up to the room to put down my bag so that I can go back downstairs and get my large suitcase. (Btw there are only stairs, no elevator!) As I walk into the room, I noticed the TV is on... I figured maybe housekeeping left it on? I continue to walk in the room and I immediately see someone stuff on the bed, and I freak out. I make my presence known in the room and I immediately exit. (Just incase someone was in the bathroom) I went back downstairs to tell the front desk, girl that someone was in the room. Her immediate response was, why does this keep happening? She then grabs the key, assigns another room and says she's gonna go check the room. When she gets back and hands over the new key, I ask her what reassurance I have that no one is going to come into my room when I'm not there and potentially take myself, or when I am there. And that this was a safety concern. Her response was... well all I can ask for is Grace, i've only been here for three weeks and I'm new. No apology, no reassurance. This is never happened to me and is completely unacceptable. She then continued to say that management has not been helpful to her, and they don't know why rooms keep getting double booked as well.

The view from the HUGE porch is lovely. There's tons of common "hang out" space both inside and out. If you play the piano or a string instrument there are instruments for use and that use is encouraged. There are a few friendly cats on the property. I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom (shared with a couple in the next room) and there was never an issue. The bathroom had sinks with toilet and shower in a separate area with a door, so you could brush teeth while someone was showering with no issue. An extra half bath downstairs was helpful too. The decor was eclectic and fun and always something to look at. (One of the owners designed and created most of it himself.) There's wine out in the afternoon/evening and a lovely coffee and tea bar that's VERY well stocked. Breakfast had two time options and is served in individual servings and, in our case, a platter if fruit to pass. The breakfast was a cinnamon roll bread pudding and a veggie and potato frittata with sliced melon on the side. It was delicious and I enjoyed chatting with the other guests over the meal. Beds were comfy and wifi was solid. (I stayed in the three twins room - be aware that the third twin is lifted above the closet and entryway, so it may be cramped for a larger person.) I truly enjoyed my short stay here and will definitely visit again if I'm in the area!

My husband and I moved to the Spokane area earlier this year, so we have been excited to get to…read moreknow the surrounding areas. Coeur d' Alene has been on my list as everyone says how great it is. So, a friend flew to visit over the summer and we spent 2 nights at the resort in their North Wing room. Then another friend came to visit this month, so we returned (with a much better experience). Arrival: Both visits were easy and we self parked. Be aware that there is an elevator from the parking garage to the resort and it is not the same one that will bring you to your room. Easy if you don't have a lot of stuff, but one visit I brought my dog and I could have used a luggage cart. So unload up front and then go park. Check in: Very quick. No wait. On the 2nd stay we were allowed to check in early which was nice. Rooms: North Wing- yikes. It does say on the site it is for the "value minded traveler." It shows. Summer is expensive there and since we were going to be outside the majority of the time it wasn't horrible. However, the room is much like a motel with the window facing a walkway. Ours was right next to the elevator. ugh. The inside was just okay. As others have mentioned, it could use updating. My second stay we stayed in the Lake Tower Room with double beds and fireplace and balcony. It was lovely. Nice room, beds comfortable, but the best was the view. Housekeeping: Unfortunately, both stays no one came to service the room. The Lake Tower even had a button to push when you want it serviced. We were out of the room by late morning and had the button turned on. Oh well. When I called, they did offer to service the room but we were tired and wanted to relax. One minor thing is that there is quite the push for tipping. I believe it came in an email and text. Just thought it was tacky. I've never seen that done before. Amenities: Visited the outdoor Blu pool during the summer. It was busy. My friend and I found an area that was "adults only" (not near the pool) and enjoyed the lake more than the kids in the pool crowd. Restaurants: Dined at Beverly's and Dockside. I will write separate reviews for them. All positive and will be back. The pre fixe dinner (early bird) was a great deal at Beverly's! ***Only policy I would suggest a change on is their charge for pet fee. It's one of the highest I've paid (and I've stayed at 5 star resorts) There is a DAILY $75 fee (someone said they cap at $150). I understand a fee is necessary, but I think that is a bit over the top. Our pup is crated (and prefers it) so does not require that deep level of clean other dogs might need. It might be better to have a standard reasonable fee and then charge the owner if the animal's stay requires additional cleaning.
