I happened to be in the area running an errand. Decided I didn't want Longhorn this time. I wanted fish and chips. Decided to go here. This isn't so much about food. I'd give it at least 3 stars for that. It's what happened after I paid my bill, left a $5 cash tip. My tip was over 20% of the total. What a shock when I looked at my bank statement and an extra $10 was added to the amount. What? This is fraud. I called when they opened and told the assistant manager what happened. I've been told I will get a refund. I believe it should be for the entire meal and drink. I work for a law firm and know how fraud works. Surprisingly this location was not busy on a Sunday afternoon compared to the surrounding casual restaurants that had over an hour wait. Not sure if that was good or bad. The host was not pleasant, just very dry and dismissive. However our server, EB, was over the top friendly. He was attentive and funny. Honestly he made the visit worthwile since the food was overall just ok. That being said the winners was the Salmon (cooked perfectly and nicely seasoned), the lemonades (not too sweet or tart, plus free refills), Coconut shrimp (crispy and seasoned well). The could be betters was the mac&cheese was a little bit too salty, the lobster was a little too tough, and the shrimp in the scampi were really small. I attended the Red Lobster on Camp Creek, in Atlanta with extended family on Feb 2 @ 12:30 for lunch , the experience was very embarrassing and disappointing, because I selected this location. After placing all the orders with waitress, she came back to the table several times to inform us of items not available. The items were: Creaser Dressing for the salads, Lobster Dip, No Margarita Flight Drinks (the ingredients) and Key lime Pie. The waitress seemed rushed and unbothered that items weren't available. Fire the manager Alex Curry as a start. I sat patiently at the bar until my guest had arrived. While at the bar the bartender provided okay service. I waited for my guest before I ordered my meal. When we order our meals, I order broccoli, asparagus and a baked potato with cheese. After waiting for more than 30 mins for our food, my guest inquired about my meal to the bartender since I only had vegetables. She indicated that my food had to be cooked when the other guess specialty meal was prepared. I said okay and waited. Then it took more time and I told the bartender I wanted to cancel my food. She said they were preparing it now and it was about to come out. When she brought it out it had the worst asparagus ever. It was like a long leaf that had been sitting in the back and not eatable. The broccoli was not hot and the bake potato was barely warm. I called for the manager and he came out after about 10-15 mins. Instead of being in front of me at the bar, he came to the back of me. I showed him the condition of the asparagus and asked if this was how asparagus should look. He said yes and everyone at the bar looked at him like were we all seeing the same food. He never apologized for the asparagus coming out like that or offered to replace it. The bartender came out later and said they were doing me a new order of asparagus. But based on how Alex approached me as a customer, I would never eat at this restaurant again. I would not feel safe eating something they recooked for me. This was a terrible representation of how management should work. I wish I had taken a picture of the asparagus, but I was so upset that they brought it to me at all. However, on today March 28th my mind had changed.Giving a huge thanks to our server Red who took amazing care of our party of four. There was a wait on our order but he assured us that they were working diligently to get our food out hot and fresh. In the meantime I observed this gentleman working as hard with all the servers and I had to stop him and ask was he a manager and he replied yes. When I tell you Vincent Edmonds knows the meaning of teamwork and we win as a team he did. Like 20 minutes later we werefinally asked what drinks we'd like and we then proceeded to wait 20 minutes to get our drinks, 2 strawberry margaritas, a water, and an ice tea. 40 minutes down still no food and we've seen our server maybe twice if you don't count the time I had to ask for a new water cause they gave me mine in a dirty cup :/ but none the less we finally get to order our food, boom like and hour later we get our food let's just say it was mediocre at best, the shrimp came out cold, the crab legs tasted like they were boiled in dirty dish water, mozzarella sticks were alright but basically flavorless, Cajun chicken Alfredo was alright but it was cold, and the crab queso came with a few soggy chips that looked like they had bumble foot or something, then people started arguing in the kitchen LOUDLY. I had: 7oz medium rare steak with garlic butter shrimp scampi, fries, and broccoli. Mom had: A massive order of scallops (it was all fried scallops- normal sized -not jumbo-, quite good...but there were a lot- 40?), broccoli, and a baked potato. Sis had: Salmon New Orleans with shrimp and crispy Brussels sprouts. Drinks: Hot Tea, Strawberry Lemonades Appetizers: Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms and Crispy Green Beans...AND BISCUITS, BISCUITS, BISCUITS. Everything was great. Zero complaints about the food. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. The wait staff were attentive and nice. The ambiance was as expected- low light, except at tables, just the right amount of distance so we didn't feel cooped up or ostracized. Red Lobster is not that good anymore. I dined in several weeks ago and the experience was VERY underwhelming. When we arrived, there was a drunk guest asleep in a chair by the front door near the outdoor waiting area. My family sat down at a booth near the bar immediately, but the servers seemed to be understaffed and were moving slowly. Appetizers and biscuits came out fast, but the wait for entrees and drink refills after that seemed to be longer than usual. It took about an hour to receive our entrees. The biscuits tasted different and salty. My husband ordered lobster bisque and a pasta dish, but the bisque tasted sour. My son ordered clam chowder and shrimp alfredo. He enjoyed the chowder & noodles in the pasta. I ordered the Atlantic Salmon with a baked potato and fresh broccoli for my entree and a side salad for my included appetizer. I had to swap the salad for crispy green beans, which were surprisingly good BTW, because the house made Caesar dressing tasted spoiled. The broccoli was well-seasoned, fresh and delicious. The baked potato was a bit dry & salmon was okay but in need of a bit of salt, per usual. The dining room was noisy due to drunk guests at the bar. Towards the end of our experience, the guest that was asleep outside came inside and sat at the bar. She proceeded to talk loudly and sneeze without covering her mouth more than once, making those of us around her uncomfortable. We left shortly after that. The overall experience was bad. I know everything should be allowed at least one off day, but ma'am you gotta do better. This is the service industry! For this visit, I give the service 1 star! We didn't even get offered anything for the long wait time! Food: I ordered the full Salmon New Orleans with a loaded baked potato and broccoli! I enjoyed my meal (seasoned well) and the leftovers the next day were delicious! The biscuits were amazing as usual! My friend ordered the chicken pasta and we ordered the Admiral's Feast to go. Changing the Tartar Sauce is the last straw for me tolerating the vibe at this RL. I've never seen so many people (employees) that clearly don't like working at a place. And I'm speaking from a Takeout perspective and I used to order once a week. The management here is subpar also. The biscuits this time were hard as rocks and this bread is delicious when served hot and soft(duh bread usually is). Me and my friend visited this location for lunch. I ordered a medium sirloin. It came out medium rare. Our server, Theresa, immediately saw that it was undercooked and stated that should would have a new sirloin cooked correctly. It took about 30 mins to get the steak back. My friend had already eaten her food. I told Theresa it took a very long time and I wanted to see a manager. She understood and sent a manager to the table. Jason, the manager, arrived at the table completely dismissive, didn't apologize for the wait and pretty much treated me like... well what do you want me to do. I told him I'd like to be compensated in some type of way for the steak being undercooked and having to wait another 30 mins for a new one. I told him I thought in situations like this, the food would ne cooked "on the fly". He said very sarcastically, soooo you want some off for waiting. He took the receipt and walked off. He came back shortly after and said here, I gave you $13 off. I said, it really should be comp'd altogether but it's cool, I'll pay it. By this time, I hardly ate any of my food because after waiting so long, I was no longer hungry. My friend looked at the bill and realized that although he took off $13, he left on the à la cartè sirloin that had to be rung in for the recook. So, Theresa took the bill and said she'd get another manager to come over because we told her not to send Jason back to our table. The other manager never came, either. After waiting AGAIN for another 10 mins, Theresa comes back with the final bill. We tipper her $25 because working in the service industry, I know it isn't the servers fault. I am, however, extremely take aback by how the manager handled the situation and still brought back a bill that was incorrect. He was dismissive and presented with an I don't care attitude. I left most of the food on the plate, we paid and left. I work in the area at my day job and we frequent this restaurant. This was by far my worse experience. read more

I don't know if there was a shortage of staff or what but it took forever to get our food which was cold. The waitress that severed us was extremely nice and pleasant. One in our party ordered fish and chips which came with one piece of fish which is puzzling to me but maybe it's how Red Lobster does it.
