The decor is basic, and it's takeout only, but the seafood my husband and I have had there has been very tasty! My favorites are the oyster poor boy and the shrimp, steamed in-store and deliciously seasoned. As you would expect, it's very reasonably priced. If you find yourself living in or visiting East Point (or the Tri-Cities area) this restaurant definitely is worth a try. I got the fish and shrimp combo; fried tilapia with steamed shrimp. I also got a side of fried okra. The portions are generous and it's damn tasty. I asked for extra butter sauce on my shrimp and used it to sauté up some zucchini when i got home. So freaking good. Prices are reasonable as well. Would come back. read more

Serves basic fried fish, boils and sides but also sells fresh fish. Its definitely edible just not the best thing youve ever eaten. I'm thinking the chef fries whatever he has. Utterly abysmal customer service. The staff (at least the young lady at the register) is absolute epitomy of ghetto trash. I am utterly embarrassed to live in a city that has a restaurant that would hire an individual that lacks basic social and customer service skills. For context I arrived to the store at 8:57pm (9/3/2021). The sign on the front of the door says they close at 9:30pm. When I open the door the cashier yelled through the hot Cheetos in her mouth "we closed". As I turn to leave I inquired as to why the door states they were open till 9:30 pm on Fridays. She replied whilst popping her gum and scratching the visible tracks on a her dollar store weave old with nails that looked of decay "we closed early so we can wipe down and go". I have passed this place at least twice a day going to and from work. Never stopped there before for whatever reason. Last Saturday I was craving for some hot Tilapia Fish and this place was the closest so I gave it a shot. I ordered the Tilapia Platter with fries and fried okra. My daughter ordered a shrimp platter with potato and broccoli. Loved the food. It was hot and fresh. I could appreciate that. The only thing I had issue with is the potato on the other platter. It was half a potato. Why not give the whole potato? Other than that I will be returning. You can also purchase raw fresh seafood to cook yourself. That's a plus as well. read more

Got there at 11:54 and they open at 11am. Waited at counter. They were still setting the seafood out in the cabinet. Finally asked if they has snow crab legs. He said let get someone. Waited. Finally someone came out & I told them I wanted 2 crab clusters. He said they are $29.99 a pound. You get them other places for $16 or $17 a pound. Been going there for years , fried food is amazing. Oyster and shrimp is my go to with spicy broccoli and potato. I got a pound of blue crabs;that I craved: they where over cooked and ALL BROWN ON THE INSIDE. I would love to take them back but I'm sure refunds aren't available & I took the last 3of5 already cooked blue crabs. Smells like a raw fish market which makes sense, since they use fresh fish (allegedly). It stinks in here and it's a whole in the wall but don't let that deter you. It really is good. Very poor customer service. With Seafood, you only get 1 condiment...tartar sauce or cocktail sauce. Otherwise, it's .50 cents...but good luck at getting cashier to ring that up on your visa. She won't. And you won't get the condiment either. I had to hand the tartar sauce back and take the cocktail. lol. All because I didn't have cash and because she refused to swipe card or give me one.
