My server Marion was not good. She was taking care of her bar patrons and didn't check once to see how my meal or drink was.. I asked her for water and 10 minutes later I had to ask someone else. In fact, I had to ask 2 different workers for assistance. When she saw me ask the waiter, she had an attitude and asked him "what does she want?" She upcharged me for my bar drink and meal (without asking) but I let that slide. I don't come here often but if I return, I hope she won't be my server I only tipped her because I understand servers have a tough job and have low hourly wages, but based on the service she provided me, she didn't deserve sh!t. I have been coming here since I was 15 years old. My first date, with my first boyfriend was here. I am 34 years old. Over the years this place has significantly fell from grace. Came in today for some lunch after thanksgiving shopping. Sat at the bar as it was only me. It was crowded maybe 2 other people at the bar. Not many in the restaurant. The bartender looked at me with no acknowledgment. 5 minutes later she sits menus in front of me. Still no acknowledgment. 10 mins later she comes and ask if someone took my order. How when you the only one here. No biggie I placed my order. I asked questions she like idk I'll ask. Later found out she was new. Where's the help? I ordered the all you can eat shrimp and a mango martini. I got my drink 15 mins after ordering despite there being no drink tickets. Someone else made my drink. The help she needed. I had to ask for silverware. As I received food without it. The biscuits they were amazing. Soft, hot, buttery, garlicky, cheesy goodness. They definitely were fresh. The Caesar salad was good. Though too much Parmesan cheese for the amount of lettuce and the croutons had a sweetness to it, that I could've done without. The mango martini was delicious and strong. For the first portion you get 3 shrimp options and a side. I ordered the shrimp scampi, the shrimp Alfredo and this new dragon shrimp they had. The dragon shrimp was basically fried shrimp with a spicier Thai sweet chili sauce. It was great. They didn't saturate the shrimp with sauce so it was still crispy. I like that the sauce was on the spicier side. The shrimp scampi was good but way too greasy. The Alfredo was creamy but bland and the shrimp was overcooked. For a refill I got the grilled shrimp. The waiter put in 2 portions though I only wanted one. You can see the difference in cook from the picture. The properly cooked portion had a nice grilled taste but was too greasy. I didn't care to get the other shrimp options as I had them and they are mid. I wanted to try the ruby mule which was vodka, ginger beer, raspberry and mint. But they didn't have the ginger beer. I also wanted to try the snow globe sangria, which was St. Germain, moscato, white cranberry and starry. But they didn't have the moscato. Quite annoying honestly. I got refills of the shrimp scampi and dragon shrimp. Technically you can't take any shrimp to go. But I was able to snag a to go container as I was stuffed. The new girl left before I finished the first portion. The girl who replaced her was much better with service. Since I've eaten here quite a lot here's my opinion on other things. The burger is surprisingly good. Quarter pound patty, brioche bun, it comes with fries, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, pickles and I believe onions. The mussels are excellent that sauce is garlicky buttery goodness. Sometimes the mussels can be overcooked. The grilled bread serve with it is always crispy and they salt it. Perfect vehicle for the sauce. I wish they gave more than 2 slices cut in half. The calamari is crispy but tender. It's served with spicy ranch and marinara. I don't like the marinara, the spicy ranch taste like it belongs on a southwest salad. It's good but overpowers the squid. My mom loves the lobsterita, which are the big margaritas. They had these lobster and shrimp tacos one time that were bad. Barely any lobster in them and the lobster that was there was bland. Too much breading, the pico served with it was phenomenal. I went in with my mom and was able to get the new drinks they didn't have last time. The snow globe was a cloyingly sweet mess. Not enough St. Germain, they need to eliminate the starry and use lime or lemon seltzer instead, also a less sweet moscato. Wouldn't drink it again for free. The ruby mule was excellent. You could taste the raspberry and the ginger beer. I'll saunter in again if I'm in the neighborhood and in the mood for seafood or if I'm with my mom since she loves red lobster. But it's not a place I seek out as the inconsistency is too frequent and the service to hit or miss. Shavon is the Best server there. I always ask to sit in her section if she's there. I had an amazing time at this red lobster. Normally this one is either hit or miss. It was surprisingly crowded for a Thursday evening. But, the wait time wasn't too bad. We decided to wait at the bar and have a drink and before we could finish half the table was ready. The bartenders were very nice, and made amazing drinks. Our server was excellent. She was personable, funny, and dealt with us mildly intoxicated without any issues. She laughed with us, and deserved every dollar she earned that night. Staff: Was greeted warmly by the hostess and was informed that a table of 4 would be about an hour wait. Granted the place is large but they were turning tables over as quickly as possible. Factor in the endless shrimp it was surprising at how fast the tables were turning over. The Food was fresh and served super hot. hot enough that the scampi sauce was still bubbling away in their ceramic bowls. the shrimp were plentiful and just kept coming and coming. Parking was pretty decent as it's in a big shopping area and you won't have an issue parking. Price can't be beat. for endless shrimp its going to run you around $16.00 factor in a large 20 ounce beer and appitizers and I think everyone's meal came out to around $40 (food, drink, and appetizer. I am very disappointed in Red Lobster and will not eat there ever again . I was hoping from the advertisements it would be a little better than before but it actually got worse. Let's start with the positive our waitress was sweet and did her best. The food itself however was bland and pasta was over cooked.I had the shrimp Alfredo. I dont understand how can you mess up shrimp Alfredo. We also had the shrimp scampi and lobster linguine it had too much salt and the potatoes were burnt. The happy hour menu was limited with only 3 choices of $5 drinks not even different flavors and only $ 2 off on appetizers which did not make much a difference because they were pricey. The atmosphere did not change and the overall food menu was very limited. There are so many restaurants now that does a better job for less money. Red Lobster needs to do much better to compete. Now doe the food I had the Admiral's Feast: Walt's Favorite Shrimp, bay scallops, clam strips and wild-caught flounder. My guest had the Wood-Grilled Shrimp: Two skewers of shrimp brushed with a buttery garlic glaze for extra flavor. Served with your choice of two sides. I loved the admirals feast everything was great except for the flounder. Mine cane with mashed potatoes. The grilled shrimp was also great. Regarding the Admiral's Feast. Pretty great experience overall, this location is one to go to if you're not in a rush. The waiters and waitresses are all very accommodating, but the wait times are notably long. I waited a while to be seated, to place an order, and to receive my food. Aside from that, the service was pleasant and the food was delicious. I ordered the langostino lobster artichoke dip and the Lobster Lover's Dream, which were both memorable. The dip had a very seasoned queso feel to it and the chips it came with were light and had their own seasoning, but not enough to clash with the taste of the dip. The shrimp in the dip was also a great touch to the flavor and texture. The two lobster tails were also seasoned beautiful and were prepared very well. One lobster tail may have been a slight tad overcooked, but it didn't ruin the taste so much. The lobster pasta was decent: the pasta and sauce itself had a decent flavor, nothing over the top, but the lobster and shrimp in the pasta made for a satisfying experience. This was my first visit to a Red Lobster restaurant. A group of my out of town and local childhood friends/sisters recently got together and decided to dine here so we can catch up and have a wonderful time. I don't eat seafood but I still decided to come anyway because for me it wasn't about the food but about the fellowship with loved ones. I instantly fell in love with the biscuits, oh my goodness they were heavenly. Our waitress was amazing and made sure to always keep our table with hot biscuits. Although, I did not eat any food, all of the entrees looked delicious and everyone seemed with their food. The only complaint that they seemed to have was the preparation of the broccoli. It was undercooked and not steamed enough, and if you wanted to keep all of your teeth in place, it was best that you left that broccoli alone lol. The staff and manager were very attentive and always checked in to make sure that everything was okay with our group. This spot is quite spacious and clean (excluding the bathrooms - be courteous, please clean up after yourselves and flush the toilet)! We arrived as a party of three and was told that there would be a 30- to 35-minute wait. We were also told that we would be receiving a text message once our table was ready. However, the phone service at this location is poor and we did not receive a text message for half an hour. After checking with the front desk staff, we were told that our table was no longer available as there is a 10-minute grace period before tables are offered to following customers. We noticed that this was not an uncommon issue that customers were having. That said, the staff handled the situation very professionally and we were seated within minutes. For starters, we ordered the Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms, Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp, and New England Clam Chowder. For our main course, we ordered a customizable Ultimate Feast including Maine Lobster Tail, 7-oz Sirloin, Shrimp Linguini Alfredo, and Garlic Shrimp Scampi, as well as two sides of mashed potatoes and cole slaw. We also ordered a side of brussels sprouts. The cheddar bay biscuits were nice and warm. They were a tad on the saltier side but still tasty with hints of cheesy and garlicky goodness. The waiter took MORE than enough time just taking my order and when he did it took OVER 40 minutes for my food to come, just for it to be DROPPED on the floor, the idiot waiter dropped my food and watched it and instead of picking it up, HE LEFT IT THERE just waiting for someone else to pick it up. This establishment needs proper training and leadership when it comes to time management and just learning how to not fall with food in your hand.
