Grab a late lunch here and it was very good. It started with a warm greeting at the hosting desk. Tiffany V, my Server, was delightful, attentive and quickly responded to my request. My family and I have enjoyed eating at Red Lobster of Jonesboro Arkansas for years, however, in the past couple years I have seen it take a downward spiral. Waiters and waitresses seem like they don't care and also seem like they have not been trained neither by Red Lobster nor at their homes. There is no doubt that it is destined for a shut down unless they hire people who have good raising and an attentive work ethic. I took my wife out to eat there and she never received her food. The waitress seemed to blame other people by asking us "they didn't bring it out?" knowing good and well she was the person who had been delivering, as she did our drinks, biscuits, and my meal. I wanted to ask her who is they? She is one many employees there that walks around as if she is the one who should be waited on. Very bad place to eat now! read more

Red lobster boy do I have a lot to say about this place. As I was younger the biscuits were warm and Garlicky and the seafood was fresh but now it's not the same. The bread feels raw the seafood feels like it was just took out of the fridge and microwave the mash potatoes are as cold as the Antarctica. You should try and stay away from this place. Clearly understaffed! We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated when there were tons of empty tables. The floor underneath the table we were seated at was extremely dirty, like I don't understand why they couldn't have seated us at a different table since there were so many empty ones. Our server took extremely long to even get our drink order in. I'm not sure if she had tables spaced out all across the restaurant or something but I saw another server who was in our area who was taking care of the tables across from us more than I saw her. It took forever to get our biscuits and when they did come out, we only got 2! Our food was extremely salty and when we asked for more biscuits, it still took another long wait to get another 2! The restaurant was not busy, there seemed to be enough waitstaff. But, out waitress, Coco, couldn't seem to rush us out the door fast enough. I was going to ask for more bread when she dropped off our ticket, didn't say a word, and left. She never asked how we were doing or if our food came out alright. This place really needs to get its act together. I made a "priority seating" reservation on Open Table and was informed by a not very professional host when I arrived that it would still be a 10-15 minute wait, but possibly even 20 minutes. I said, no problem and took a seat to wait. During that time, another even less professional host (possibly a trainee) walked by holding a biscuit he was munching on. The dining room was only half full, so I assumed they were short staffed and couldn't fill it to capacity, but additional staff just casually walked by in no real hurry. After being patient for 30 minutes in spite of all this I went to check on the status of our table. The first host was going to take a group to their table so I asked the second host and he said I needed to ask the first host. I waited for the first host to come back for 10 minutes. (Not exaggerating!) I don't know why the host didn't come back or why a manager didn't pop in at the host stand to take control of things, but after 40 minutes of no updates and being ignored, we left. We could only imagine what the rest of the evening's service would be like if we were actually seated. Five minutes later we received a text that our table was ready, for a total of 45 minutes after our "priority seating." Also, while I was checking for nearby restaurants on Open Table, Red Lobster showed immediately seating was available. read more

In town for work today decided to go eat dinner.. pulled in to Longhorn parking lot. 45 minute wait. We were starving so decided to go next door to Red lobster as there were only a handful of cars in parking lot.. now I'm not always the sharpest tack in the box, not the dullest either but the minimal customers should have set off my warning light. Let's just say it failed me miserably this time. We stood in waiting area with 3 other set of customers waiting to be seated for what seemed like forever. When we finally got seated in bar area with no other paying customers but us (bartender had a couple of buddies sitting at bar visiting with him) we waited 8 minutes ( I clocked it) to even get acknowledged to get our drinks. Food was brought out by a guy that was not our waiter. Food was decent. I ordered the coconut shrimp the coconut dip sauce was disgusting so I thought I'll get some cocktail sauce instead.. silly me that would require seeing the waiter again. Ate my shrimp dry as hell as I never got cocktail sauce or a refill on my drink. For people I'm guessing work on tips they aren't doing a real stand up job at this one. I hope theyve got a second job doing something they are better at because they aren't paying their bills at this one! I'm going to blame my poor judgement on being tired this time. We went to lunch to celebrate a birthday. Our waitress Jennifer was very nice, a good server and everyone enjoyed their food. One of my sides had a little too much oil and the waitress inquired about it when she came to take our plates. She offered to have the kitchen remake it but I was full so I politely declined. Later she deducted the cost from the bill, which was really nice and unexpected. My only complaint is the floor, seats and window ledges were dirty, which I noticed before we sat down. We got the coconut shrimp appetizer. Shrimp was over cooked. I ordered Caesar salad with add on lobster and shrimp. It was better than expected and they did not scrimp on the seafood. Predictably acceptable seafood in a landlocked State, semi-nautical decor, and good service. This location is clean and has a club liquor license. It does get very crowded on the weekends so have a backup plan when your parents come to visit. read more

I love their crabs legs. I get them every time and it's always good. The restaurant is very nice and clean. Our waitress was nice and regularly brought us drinks and anything else we needed. There was a bit of wait but there was plenty of seating that we didn't have to stand around. I'd suggest going here if you want good seafood. read more

I usually don't comment much on chains. I usually know what to expect when I'm going there, and so should you. We went here early on a Sunday evening about 6ish. Only had to wait about 15 minutes for a booth. Got seated in a booth in the bar. Ordered a bloody mary, which was just marginal (I was told there was no celery available). Ordered our food. Had to ask to get the biscuits, which were pretty salty. Shrimp cocktail came out, with the shrimp sitting on a plate with a few ice cubes around them. My fish and chips came, without any chips (yes, I mean fries), but I did get the asparagus I asked for. The fish was one huge filet, and I mean huge (10x2x3) with way too much breading on it. I guess they don't know how to cut them down to size? The tartar sauce was like a thick, milky cole slaw. I had two bites and pushed it aside. At least the asparagus was ok. My wife had Walt's Shrimp, which she said were fine. Our waitress was polite enough, and asked if my food was no good. I said it just wasn't what I expected. Then a manager came over and offered to give me anything else I wanted to replace it. I declined that, and she took it off our bill, and implored us to always let them know if something is not up to par. A very refreshing attitude, although I wonder if it's because it's still relatively new in town. This isn't one of the best Red Lobsters I've ever been to but it isn't the worst one either. Every time I go to Red Lobster I get the Ultimate Feast, here is was pretty good. The fried shrimp was cooked a little long and the scampi was way saltier than I ever remember at other places. The alcoholic beverages were a plus, as well as a very friendly waitress. I was confident that today I would have an excellent experience, based on my last visit to Red Lobster, but to my surprise I was treated in a discriminatory manner. When I arrived I was not greeted, they did not asked for my name to put me on the waiting list and I was ignored for the first ten minutes, until a white couple arrived (although I have blonde hair and light skin but obviously I'm not white), they wanted me to believe that they were going to take my name and then of the white couple. Hoping that the order of arrival would be respected, I was waiting patiently, but they ignored me once again and gave the table to the white couple that arrived after me. I contacted the manager to let him know about the incident and the only thing I got from the manager was "my apologies" and that was it, showing lack of management skills or a no service-oriented place. After this experience, Red Lobster would not be one of my place of choices to eat. read more

Still in their first couple of weeks of operation. Salads were good, but the shrimp was lacking in taste and was almost cold by the time it arrived. Glasses of water had an ammonia or 409 taste.
