First, I'm sorry I don't have any pictures. I'm usually very good about taking pictures but I was so hungry, I forgot. After not going to a Red Lobster for years because of how bad they had become we decided to give it a try because of the 20% coupon we received in the mail and we had noticed signs outside of the restaurant that they were refurbishing the inside. As we walked in we noticed immediately the upgrades. It's absolutely beautifully nautical. Very clean. We had to wait a few minutes to be greeted by the hostess because she was having trouble seating a party of 5. There wasn't a lot of people in the restaurant but I think maybe a shortage of servers. They sat my husband and I right at the front of the restaurant. Not a great place to sit, but I was able to watch people coming and going. The food for me was better than I remembered. I first got a cup of New England Clam Chowder which was good. I do like my clam chowder to be a little creamer, but it was good. I ordered the shrimp trio and picked popcorn shrimp, shrimp scampi, and Walt's shrimp with a baked potato. I enjoyed all of my shrimp. The cocktail sauce needs help! It's basically ketchup. We asked for a side of horseradish so we could spice it up a bit but were told they don't have any. My husband also order the shrimp trio with Walt's shrimp, and double of the crispy dragon shrimp and some hushpuppies. He loved Walt's shrimp but was very disappointed in the crispy dragon shrimp. Said they tasted like flour and couldn't taste the shrimp at all. Hushpuppies were just okay. As always the cheese biscuits were delicious! They came out hot and ready to eat! My husband drank water and drinks quite a bit and was irritated that each time she brought a new glass and a new straw. I had a cup of coffee and the creamer was brought in a ramekin, which was odd and hard to pour. Our server was good, though I believe she had to many tables so things we asked for took way to long to get. I was really hoping for a better experience and I guess it was better than it was 4 years ago. We will come back because it so only a mile from home and the food was good enough. So bummed. We drove 45 minutes to try them out since they returned to the area. We should have known better. The place was empty on a Saturday night. Started off fairly strong with cheddar bay biscuits (I mean how could they go wrong?) and the crab queso was good. That's where it stops. I ordered the $45 Mariners boil with Old Bay and Parmesan and spicy seasoning. My husband ordered the $45 Ultimate Feast This was the recommendation of our nice server. This seafood boil sauce was definitely something that should have been poured over a pasta. Not even a hint of Old Bay and definitely not spicy. Imagine a creamy buttery sauce. I told the server I wanted "big flavor". He assured me that it was his favorite and had great flavor. It was very likely the worst meal I have had in ages. He was nice but we had to ask for biscuits twice and never were offered dessert. He likely saw my untouched plate and kept walking. I just wanna say red lobster as a whole is a great Restaurant. I think they're the best value in seafood and the shrimp quality is always top notch. The lobster is good as well. The crab is fair to be fair, but I am impressed with the value that they've been able to maintain all these years when I was growing up, it always used to be the fancy place to go And now the value makes it just another great option.. I know the direction of the market in seafood right now is making everybody going to do boils, but you can do those at home very easily so I don't think that's a good value. I would rather have the traditional menu always to me. The boiled places are a dime a dozen. But red lobster special We've had two great experiences at this location and we had great service from Flame when we were there. read more

Red Lobster has always been one of my favorite restaurants. Its a chain yes, but I have loved it since I was a child. This location is on 192 over the in Kissimmee area closer to Disney. We decided to go on a Friday night, we had a gift card and wanted to use it. Even though the restaurant was not full, we had to wait about 10 minutes. It was clear that they did not have enough staff as honestly there was only a handful of tables seated. We didn't really mind waiting and it didn't take very long. Once we were seated, we were greeted pretty quickly but the most wonderful server. He was really awesome, offered great suggestions and recommendations. We have not been to Red Lobster in a little bit and we were very surprised to see the price of meals were extremely high. Their prices have for sure increased a lot. Our server brought us the cheddar bay biscuits right away. These are absolutely the best part of Red Lobster! We both ordered drinks and our food. I ordered the create your own on the recommendation of the server and my husband the same. The food was very good, we really enjoyed our meal and the choices we made. Our server checked on us multiple times as well, offering more drinks and more of the best- the cheddar bay biscuits. My only complaint is the price of the food. Their prices have gone up so much, more than local fresh fish restaurants. With this being a chain, I honestly did not understand why it was so expensive. I also was upset to learn that they now charge you for a salad. You get to pick two side items, and I also choose a salad as one. Now it is considered an upgrade which I didn't notice, so it was an extra charge for that. I really enjoy Red Lobster, they just need to watch their prices. What happened to Red Lobster? It used to be a good chain restaurant that was reasonably priced and consistent. Now you get barely passable food, inconsistent service and inflated prices. The 192 Formosa Gardens location is Kissimmee is especially struggling. Walk in with a "reservation" only to be told that they took too many walk ins and I'm now going to have to wait 20+ minutes when the restaurant is mostly empty. A server struggling to serve half the restaurant. A general dirty and moldy smell to the whole place. Food which takes forever and is just very mid. I'm not sure how long they can keep this up before they lose all of their remaining fans. read more

Happened to be Endless Shrimp Monday, and we're always in the mood for Shrimp. Mike's fave is Walt's Favorite Fried Shrimp and he added Shrimp Skewers as his 2nd option. I chose Shrimp Linguine and Shrimp Scampi. This is starting to sound like that scene from Forrest Gump. But first ,and I'll say foremost, the warm and fresh Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Mmmmmmm. Our entrees and loaded baked potatoes arrived, and it was all served at a perfect temperature. I might skip the Scampi next time as it was too buttery, even for me. For some reason, Popcorn Shrimp isn't part of the Endless menu, so I may try it next time. No room for dessert or any of their specialty drinks. We really like this Red Lobster location. This was terrible. The food had no flavor, just a bunch of butter/oil. Ordered Chesapeake fries. Received plain fries. Asked 3 times for biscuits. They finally identified that they are still baking. They had 8 tsp of syrup on top of a sweet passion fruit juice. Diabetes in a cup. My server we saw 2 times for the order and the check. I had to ask someone if they could help us get new drinks. My wife and I recently dined at Red Lobster in the Kissimmee area. We received a gift card and figured let's go. Upon arrival we checked in with the host. She informed us that we had a 10 minute wait. It became clear that staffing was low for dinner service. The atmosphere seemed to be a frantic one, considering that the staffing was low and a few groups came in at the same time. During our wait we began looking at the menu. I noticed that since the last time I dined, the menu has become vast. It was actually a little overwhelming to look at. I'd say they almost have too many options on the menu. The 10 minutes were up and the hostess took us to our seats. We were greeted by our server, he gave us our cheddar bay biscuits and some waters. He offered great suggestions and recommendations from the menu. My wife ordered the *Create your own feast: Wild-Caught Snow Crab Legs, lobster tail, Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp and shrimp scampi. For her side she ordered a side salad. ( my wife love her meal. Nods of approval while eating. I tried a little of the lobster tail, moist, well prepared and delicious)*I ordered the pick 2: Popcorn Shrimp and grilled salmon, with steamed broccoli (the salmon was perfectly cooked, succulent, delicious. Popcorn shrimp also was done perfectly, delicious. The broccoli was great too, you could taste the broccoli. Not over seasoned, wasn't mushy) Our server checked on us multiple times as well, offering more drinks and more of the best- the cheddar bay biscuits. My only complaint is the price of the food. My family and I decided to order red lobster the other day for dinner. We looked at the website and saw that a cup of soup was 6 ounces and a bowl was 12. We decided to order a bowl. We brought our food home and opened up the soup container. We knew immediately that it was not 12 ounces. We measured it and it was 8 ounces. I called the store. The employee answered the phone without a phone greeting. Took me a couple of seconds to realize someone had answered the phone. I explained the situation and she said she would get her manager. While she was getting her manager I heard a different employee say "they're complaining over a bowl of soup?" The manager took over the phone and did apologize, but only offered half a refund on the soup. The soup was $9. I rejected the offer. She said she would have to contact her manager and she would call us back. She took down my phone number. I never received a call back. For me it wasn't about the refund. I paid for a bowl of soup and was shorted 4 ounces. I just wanted to be heard and for someone to care. None of that happened. The rest of our order was correct and the food was okay. Went to Red Lobster for a quick lunch! I'm normally not a big fan of chains & unfortunately this experience was a reminder as to why. Ordered the 3 for $15.99 special- your choice of soup or salad, appetizer and an entree from a select menu. I'll start with the pros- the ceasar salad was pretty good. The lettuce was nice and crunchy, as were the croutons & they were generous on the cheese. No complaints there. The shrimp Alfredo was also pretty good, I thought the shrimp were cooked well & it had the right amount of sauce. I was not a fan of the mozzarella sticks whatsoever- thin, not cheesy or tasty. The complimentary bread was stale. It seemed like they were severely understaffed & it just made for mediocre (borderline unfriendly) service. It's uncomfortable dining in that type of environment. Brussels sprouts were a $2.99 up charge but worth it due to large size. They were not that busy at 7pm on Saturday night but it did fill up before we left. Mandy was our server. It is unfortunate that a simple task will determine the reputation of an establishment. I am a pretty forgiving diner... I like food from wherever - diners, fast food, Michelin star restaurants. We were on our way to a light show nearby and stopped here. 1st clue - there were literally 3 cars in the parking lot on the main drag in a tourist area... 2nd clue - we walked in and stood at the front of the nearly empty restaurant for about 5 mins. We were about to leave when they sat us. Sat down, ordered our drinks and thank goodness we ordered our entrees as well, or we'd likely have never seen the waitress again. Got drinks, and then shortly thereafter, salads that seem to have been coated in mayonnaise. I'm guessing they were running short on Caesar dressing and added mayonnaise. It was disgusting. Next our entrees came out - game over... we both got generally fried entrees, which tend to be more forgiving. Not here! Fish was disgusting and clearly old, scallops tasted spoiled - even the usually pure smooth mashed potatoes were full of lumps. Ate nearly none of our meals, and no one thought that was strange... we sat for 30 mins + for food and server never offered another drink. I've loved Red Lobster for many years and tonight's visit did not disappoint. From the moment we were greeted by Jasmin's (I think) beaming smile I knew the evening was going to be a great one. Our server, Lauren, was a honey. Friendly, happy and pleasant without being overly intrusive. I had the Maine Lobster (of course) and she had the Filet Mignon both were cooked to perfection. My in-laws love Reb Lobster. They average two meals a month kind of love. While on vacation, they were looking for a familiar meal to stabilize all of the variation we've been indulging in. They ordered delivery from this red lobster and were very disappointed. On the entire order there were 5 different issues including -- the two person salad was 1/4 the normal size, the order was missing one whole dish, the steak was cooked extra well done, and the scampi was tough and under cooked. The whole order was cold when it arrived and the biscuits were all mushed up. Not a great experience and it would be hard to recommend this particular location to anyone else. read more
