If I could pick the worst meal I have ever had when going out to eat this place would be in the top 3. Nothing was even good. The amount of salt and pepper on everything was crazy. The calamari was a tan color which was strange. You could not taste it because of the amount of salt and pepper. Service was very good though. I would give the service a 9. The air conditioning was so cold i was happy to get outside. The windows has condensed moisture on them. That is how cold it was. Will not give this restaurant chain another chance. read more

We returned to one of our former favorites which a fallen out of favor. Well, it is back in favor and we can't wait for out next visit. We stopped in for lunch at the Kissimmee location, were assigned Nikki to help us out, and had a wonderful experience. To make it short, we bought all the specials, $60 in gift cards for $50 and $10 take home of one of their specialties. No brainer. If you are on a budget or just not hungry enough for a large Italian treat, try the lunch specials, great sandwiches and small plates. I have been to many Carrabba's in my life time and let me tell you this one beats all of them by FAR! Carrabba's isn't usually my favorite because I'm not that big on italian food by holy baloney this one was freaking awesome. Our server Jon H was one of the best waiters I've ever had at any restaurant. Kudos to him!! (he even brought me mini oil packets and spices and forks and spoons for my food that I wanted for leftovers) Also they were very fast and efficient with getting us our food. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and all of our orders came out correctly, which is always a plus with a larger group. The only issue was that my soup never made it to the table, which was a little disappointing (by the time I realized it, we were done eating). Our waitress could have been a bit more personable, but handling a party of 11 can be a challenge, so I understand if she was a bit overwhelmed. My fiancé and I split the chicken parmesan with French fries, and it was very good--crispy, flavorful, and well-prepared. We came on Saturday evening, party of 5 with two small children. We were seated after about 10 min. Our waiter Adam was so attentive, patient and amazing from the beginning through to the end! He made great recommendations and checked up on us adequately. The food was plentiful and delicious, cooked and seasoned just right! Highlights was the appetizer with the calamari, bruschetta and mozzarella sticks, I personally loved the olive oil and bread comp starter. My shrimp dish was delicious and the salmon my eldest son had was cooked perfectly. The blackberry sangria was delicious yet alil too sweet for my liking but my husband loved it. Chicken soup was salty. Temperature wise it felt warm. Good amount of chicken, noodles, and vegetables. Visually the dish looked phenomenal. However, the sauce was very salty. The shrimp was overcooked, but still had a good wood grill finish. The steak was cooked medium and tasted good. Staff and ambience was good. I'm sorry. I really want to like this place. But this is the slowest location in America. I just waited two hours in an empty restaurant for one entrée. I'm guessing ' cause it's a touristy location, that service is just obligated to be slow. Everybody is nice. They're just slow. Also, I ate Carrabba's a lot when I lived up north and the dishes were huge. But I came here and ordered a Johnny Trio. And the chicken breast was the size of a golf ball, but it's still the same price as the location in Jersey that used to be the size of a football. read more

My wife and I are Carrabba's fans , but this location is one that should be avoided. It's very poorly run. I went with the wife,kids, and grandkids. We usually eat at Carrabba's once a month. A couple of weeks ago, we had guests visiting us and decided to place a takeout order for four people from Carrabba's. The ordering process was easy and pickup was on time, but when we got home, there was one meal missing. We didn't double check the order and a quick look at the receipt on the bag visually showed one of the meals listed, was not crossed out (I assume their way of confirming everything is packed). So, I gave them a call and was very happy with the options the manager gave me. They offered to recook all four meals so that we could eat them at the same time or they would credit us for the missing meal and provide some gift cards for our inconvenience. Since we were all very hungry and the portions of the three meals we had were good size, we just created the a fourth meal. True to their word, my credit card was refunded for the missing meal and when I stopped by later in the week to pick up the gift cards, they provided $80 of cards. Mistakes happen but a good restaurant and manager, knows how to make things right and Carrabba's certainly did so. Well done! read more

I keep chasing the high of what this Carrabbas used to be (see first two reviews) but after these past two visits, I think I'm officially done. The 2 for $40 promo got us back in the door last week, but we had to ask the server about it since there was nothing in the menu about it. She had to ask the manager who gave her the insert. Are pre-shift meetings not a thing here? I would rate the over all visit a 3.5. Service was good, but, my pasta dish was far under-cooked and I like it al-dente. It was very chewy and lacked seasoning. We went back last night and it was very disappointing. The server brings a bottle of wine to the table with two glasses sees that I have a cocktail from the bar (prickly pear martini; which I HATED) and says: "Oh u have drinks" and takes the wine away!! What happened to asking if we would like a sample?? He saw my disappointed expression, and brings it back only to pour me the tiniest fraction of an ounce. I did order a glass of wine, but unlike the happy hour portion I got last week, my one six ounce glass rang up at 12.99. I guess it was my fault for assuming the server would bring me a glass on special because it was early, but perhaps I should have asked. As for the food, my husband orders the sirloin with NO mushrooms and extra sauce. The dish arrives with one of the sides incorrect and mushrooms on top. Thank god he doesn't have an allergy. While last week's pasta was undercooked, my lasagna last night was over cooked, with a mushy unappealing texture not much better in quality than Stouffers. They were all out of the dessert we ordered, and to close out the check the server hovered over me with a hand held digital reader which had a minimum tip option of 18%!! We were charged $4 for a small side of extra marsala sauce for the steak. I do not recall it costing that much extra in the past. How awkward, to adjust the amount it with him standing over me. I just hit cancel and left a cash amount on the table. It's such a shame how far they have gone downhill in service and food. If I could leave 1 star I would. Got sat and waited 15 minutes to be greeted and then another 20 to get drinks. Our server was clearly taking too many tables than what she could handle, with no help from the manager or other employees. Saw her running around frantically non stop. Finally got to order and then waited about 45 minutes for the food to come out. Personally I thought the rigatoni martino was awful, but others enjoyed the chicken Marsala. I had ordered a sprite and it was never refilled. When we brought up the issue our server didn't seem to care that we had issues and then we asked for the check and she proceeded to go take other peoples orders, leaving us waiting again. We got up and asked one of the hosts for the manager, waited for her to come and then she offered to discount our food, server came back and we said we had spoken to the manager and that she was going to discount everything, she said she had, checked the bill the only thing discounted was my rigatoni meal. Prices are expensive. The food is essentially bought in the corporation headquarters and sent in frozen --no decisions are made locally as per staff, by that i mean : menu choices, prices and specials--- shipped centrally, frozen. if you doubt as them about meat and fish coming in frozen! It all appears nice when you get in you better enjoy it cause it's not cheap. if you doubt my "its all run out of headquarters" read their responses to reviews---- they are all "cut and paste"--- i know this business and they have an assistant whose job first thing is to respond to all reviews countrywide with a series of standard posts--- you can tell because many are repeated and the responses dont address issues enjoy eating frozen food and paying a lot read more

For dessert I ordered the Tiramisu and my husband had the Sogno Di Cioccolata. The desserts were just ok, in the past the tiramisu has been more flavorful. We popped in to Carrabba's for a quick dinner in between picking up family arriving on different flights into Orlando airport. We explained to the hostess our time situation and she was completely confident that they could get us served and back out in time to pick up more family at the airport. She even suggested that we order the $10 to-go meals for our late arrivals so they could have a nice meal when they landed. Our food was just ok, but the service was incredible. Drinks and salads were served very quickly, and dinners as well as our take away orders were ready to go in the time frame requested. Every October my family is in Kissimmee on vacation. My one sister's birthday comes around while they are there vacationing and she likes to go to Carrabba's, as Italian food is one of her favorites. It has become an annual event. Since I am not able to vacation with them, I wanted to acknowledge her birthday, as well as catching up on a couple other family member's recent birthdays. Knowing they would be going there on 10/9, I called Carrabba's that day and spoke with a lady, I believe her name was Jess, who I was told was the FOH day manager. I explained that I wanted to purchase three gift cards, over the phone with my credit card, and have them presented to my family that evening when they came in for dinner. I know this was a lot to ask, especially being a chain restaurant, and the details I was asking for were rather involved. But she could not have been any more accommodating! She told me she would be more than happy to handle it, took all the information she needed, addressed all the details I asked for, and immediately emailed me a receipt from my credit card. Since I am in Michigan, I was a bit concerned about everything come off correctly, so I called back several hours later, after I got off work, but I had nothing to worry about. The evening FOH manager told me Jess had everything set up, the gift cards were there with her along with the names of the family members they went to, along with my birthday wishes to surprise them with. Even after handling everything, Jess then stopped back in the restaurant that evening, ON HER OWN TIME, just to make sure everything went off okay, and then texted me to let me know she checked in and everyone was thrilled! She also told me she hoped I would have an opportunity to visit them soon along with the rest of the family. Now I have been involved in the food/liquor industry for over 50 years, and I know above and beyond service when I see it, and this was all that and then some! My family told me it was quite the surprise and the manager as well as the server were outstanding. I certainly hope these reviews are shared with the staff at this Carrabba's; they deserve the recognition! read more

The food tasted yummy but zesty. The crispy olive oil seethed in my mouth. Our waiter named " paisan" was a meanie though. He was very stern and angry, knocking things over, not caring for us. Although you have to try the garlic knots as they just melt in your tummy. In the end we dumped pepper in the water to show our appreciation for the waiter. Take that pasian!!!!! read more

The food was good BUT the service was subpar! To be fair, this was on a Friday night at the end of our siblings week long reunion AND we were a group of 15. But, there were SOOO many order snafus, like under cooked steak, wrong food brought to the table, my salad being brought 30 minutes after everyone's meal. THEN when it was time to pay, we had to wait 30 more minutes because EVERYONE'S bill was WRONG ! I felt like leaving without paying!
