I've eaten at a lot of Red Lobsters in my life. My general outlook on this restaurant is negative. I usually come in with a group of others who've chosen the restaurant, and my expectations are naturally low. This particular location exceeded those expectations greatly. I started out with a dozen raw oysters on the half-shell and they were huge! I have never gotten oysters at Red Lobster before so I wasn't sure what they'd be like, but I was impressed. Very fresh and delicious. Our waitress did not miss a beat, she did everything right except one little detail - she forgot to bring me extra butter for a few minutes but I did not get the chance to tell her before she realized it. We never ran out of drink or biscuits and everything was brought out in a timely fashion. The king crab legs I ordered were slightly overcooked but still delicious and sweet, and I am pretty sure they gave me more than the 1.5lbs that I was supposed to get. Ok first off I have been ordering takeout from this restaurant for over 10 years. Ive never had an issue or have I been disappointed in their service. I normally dont go to "chain" restaurnats, but my wife and I order the same thing from this same restaurnat a few times a year. Up until tonight I have had pretty good service, both with quality of food ordered and with takout service privided. Tonight we orderedd our usual and when I picked it up I noticed the restaurant was really dead on a Thursday night (Feb 1st) there was 1 guy at the bar looked like he was dozing off.....and one couple on a booth and no one anywhere near (staff) I walked up to the bar (where i usually get my takeout) and waited for about 5 minutes....aking the dozing guy if there was any bartender.....he replied I guess she went in the back about 10 minutes ago......a few minutes later someone came out with a bag of takeout for the "dosing guy" and he tossed a twenty at her, took his food and left without talking to anyone. THe server then says can I help you, I tell her I have a tak out order, says oh you must be ***** and then leaves to get it, ( I get food here alot so I dont check the service) She brings me my food, repeats my order, and says its all there, I pay and leave to go home. When I get home my wife says what did you get because there is no crab in my 1/2 order of crab alfredo....I said what?,,,,then check my "Full order" and there are only 2 pieces of crab sauce and pasta......I was shocked.....I just paid 45 bucks for pasta.....and two salads that were not what we ordered. (not to mention I was shorted on the biscuits (ordered extra 6) got only 6 when I should have gotten at least 10 (two with each meal at least). I call the restaurant (which I just went to and saw was dead) and asked to talk to a manager, (put on hold) waited five minutes and caled back, was put on hold again waited another 6 minutes and decided to drive there ( i Live 5 minutes from the damn place" As I was pulling into the parking lof the "mnanager COCO" answers the phone and I start to tell her about what happened and she say oh I knowq about his and you were complaining about our food, I wasnt even given a chance to explain before she assumed she knew what was going on,.....Completely unprofessional #1. I teh tell her IM pulling into the parking lot and will just se her inside.....she says ok and when I walk in, I see this woman and a guy walking toward me as I head to the bar.....they stop me and she says are you the guy that has a problem with your food....IM like what the heck is this.....and the guy says immediately "Sir you need to calm down or I', going to have to ask you to leave.....(WHAT???) Im like seriusly let me set this food down (brought the food back ...untouched) show the "Manager Coco" and she says I dont know understand what your complaining about, it looks good to me.....Im like are yopu serious you didnt even ask me what was wrong, you just defended the plate of food.......she says ok whats wrong....I explain there is no crab in the crab alfredo which I just paid $50 for......she then basically calls me a liar says there is crab all theough it, (I took pictures) she might as well just went ahead and kicked me in the stomach. In 10 + years Ive never complained at any restaurant let alone one of my favorites, but she (had an attitude when I first walked in) made me feel like I was totally making this up and wasted my time and money coming back to make an issue or embarrass them. Far be it from me to ever do that ......because that would be a waste of my time, but to be CHEATED on $50 and then called a liar.....en ough is enough......I was raised in the era a customer must not be making it up or lying about something when they dont even eat their food and drive back to bring it back......I was embarrassed and felt shamed by these two people. I will never ever go back to this restaurant! I will tell everyone I know as well. (my sister in law Loves this place and always has her special events here.... but wait until I tell her, she wont believe it, but when I show her the pictures I took of the food we got, she will not go here any longer either. The host was rude as hell looked us up n down when we walked up to the host stand. I look back blankly and she looks at me with a "what you lookin at me for girl?' look." I'm like 2 please n she acts like she can't hear me well maybe she should stop worrying about talking about the drama in her life and working out and be nice to customers. Now she's saying she wants to be cut, well she should be completely. On my way back in to pee after I had already left, an older guy and lady employee both walked out and were talking aloud how late I was coming in.. lol. Also the soap was nearly empty in both pumps I had to try like thirty times. We could have went anywhere, I actually fought with my boyfriend to go to Outback since there's nowhere good close and we're just passing through home to Detroit from Cleveland. read more

The whole place smelled really fishy, we waited over 45 minutes, for a table when I seen like 10 empty tables we could of had. There wood grilled chicken had no flavor didn't even taste like chicken. Are waiter kept messing up my meal. And he was incredibly sweaty which made me nervous that he'd get sweat in the food. read more

Before I tell you what was wrong I have to say what was right. Our waiter was fantastic, friendly efficient and did a great job. He should look for a job at a different restaurant! Now for the bad news. When we walked in, the restaurant smelled bad, like rotten garbage. I should have left but we were meeting a group so I stayed bring optimistic that it would get better, it didn't! The restaurant only had 5 occupied tables so they were not busy at all. The Caesar salad was drowning in way to much dressing and had wilted brown slimy lettuce, which I pointed out to the waiter. I had the lobster feast which is about $40 The lobster was over cooked and tough. The lobster Alfredo had no lobster as pictured but lots of over cooked chewy shrimp. The broccoli was old with brown & black spots and very over cooked. Overall this was a terribly overpriced meal. Fire the unskilled chef and start over! I would avoid this place ! read more

We had lunch here the other day, and we loved the Lobster Bisque... creamy, rich and delicious. I also ordered a dozen steamed oysters... and I thought they were overcooked, and had a lot of shell pieces around them.... not the best.... my fiance ordered the Lobster Pizza, and it was less than impressive.... sort of a one note flavor... no freshness to it, no distinct flavor of lobster or sauce or anything, just OK. WOW!!! Finally a restaurant with excellent food & top-notch service! Fast greeting & service as soon as we entered the door! Great seating! Not sure of our server`s name but she rocked! Food was hot & fresh! Very clean place! read more
