We ate here this past Saturday, as it was close to where we'd been doing some shopping. As far as chains go, I really enjoy Red Lobster. If you're going to come here, you'd better get here before 5. We came before 4:30 and there was still a 5-10 minute wait. This place is always packed! The cheddar bay biscuits were dynamite as always. I ordered the 4 course meal for $15.99. It really is quite a deal for everything you get. Soup, Salad, Entree, and Dessert. I can rarely finish all of this. It's probably a good idea to order this and split it with someone. My wife got the fried coconut shrimp which she really enjoyed. Overall, yes it's a chain, but the food is good and relatively inexpensive. The only real negative to our experience was our server giving us our check before she ever brought out my dessert. It wasn't a huge deal, just a little backwards. read more

Cheddar biscuits mmmmmmm. Being that I don't eat seafood this is weird that I frequent here but my wife loves every dish she's ever had here and I like the Cajun chicken linguine. I have never had bad service and last night was no exception. I have a 3 year old so dining out can sometimes be trying on the staff but our waitress interacted with him and made our experience that much more pleasurable. read more

I've got to say that when I first walked in the door I thought I was going to have the worst experience of my life. When Megan, who was a greeter of sorts ay the front of the house. and supposedly part of the customer service experience was as dry and impersonal as she was, even when I tried to second chance her by saying it didn't take that long witha smile that she did not return so I was a little skeptical about my visit. But I have to say that our server Mike was awesome. He was very attentive making sure that we got what we asked and then some. It's special when someone is so busy but checks on you as much as he did not missing a beat. It almost went left when another waiter (I hate that i neglected to get his name) brought us our food and i asked for butter he said ok and walked away ignoring me. My husband paid attention to it and went in search of and talked to a manager whose name is Wayne. Not only did he show personal attention but was very comforting. That is huge for me as on my experience if I have to send food back I refuse to reorder but did in this case. I am absolutely overwhelmed with his and Mike's attention. Perfect for a quick, delicious, affordable lunch. A friend and I arrived when they opened at 11 am along with many others. The staff happlily greeted everyone and we were led immediately to our table. We decided a fruity , yummy frozen drink sounded perfect. Soup and salad brought right away with their amazing cheddar bay biscuits!! We both had Cajun shrimp pasta and it was great. Extremely pleased with this place on a Sunday night, it was very busy but got seated right away in a nice booth way in the back but it was great, ordered food quickly and our food arrived very fast too, considering the hordes of crowds, no wait time at all for anything! linguini with shrimp was very good, family was also pleased with our delicious food! Brought some of the family here to celebrate a few happy things in our lives. We ordered the Ultimate feast, coconut shrimp, and the cajun chicken pasta. Red Lobster offers 4 course meals for $16.99. You get soup, salad, entree, and dessert. There are plenty of food choices to make it a very good deal. The food was served quickly, it was hot, and everything was very good. The restaurant is clean and everyone was friendly. The only downfall was that our waitress was pretty lackluster. She was not at all on top of things at the table. It took a long time to get everything and she was not attentive. Perhaps it was a bad night for her. The food was great and we will be back. read more

I absolutely love red lobster and i have been going to this particular location since i was a kid, so over 20 years now. I only get to eat here a handful of time per year but everytime i do i am very pleased. The seafood stuffed mushrooms are my favorite along with the artichoke dip and i always get the ultimate feast. Service has always been friendly. Ive never really had a bad experience. They get really busy and you have to wait sometimes but thats to be expected. I give 4 stars because the food is delicious but for the price i feel the portions are a little on the small side. read more

our family of six went to dinner last night(christmas eve, called ahead, approximately 4pm, they said no waiting at that time, but wanted our name, also asked what time we would be coming, we said 30 minutes), (& 3 were children, 2 were 12 yrs old & one is 4 yrs old),,,we usually come every year, & was shocked it was not real busy(?)...hostess did not have our name(?),,,5min.then said she "thinks she did,but misspelled,,we were seated, (we noticed menus seemed -scattered inside-confusing!,), daughter & i wanted lobster tail & crab legs as usual,,but were told by waitress only way we could do that, was to order them separately & then get nothing else on plate, maybe then order a salad ? said it would be "about $23. a piece,,(sooo-we thought from previous plating, those pretty much cover your plate,,sure, we'll go with that--we got our "very smaller plates!!the lobster tail fit on my hand(lady)as well as hers-split open that is!"!,,& crab legs were 3-4 legs over cooked & stuck to legs & usually not much meat there, we know-but also sooooo small, manager or assist.manager came by, & asks how food was? so i let him know,,& nothing--he stands there in silence--then says, im sorry, im sorry you feel that way,,,and walks away!!!! I have been coming to this location for years for many special celebrations. We had a party of 10 on 03/26/17 for my birthday. Their wonderful baked potatoes were not baked but microwaved and wrapped in foil. The shrimp lettuce wraps did not include all the ingedients listed on the menu, was the last item to arrive, with a hunk of iceberg lettuce for the wraps. The ceasar salad portions consisted of a half filled bowl of salad. In talking about my experience with other friends they had the same disappointments as well. read more

I came here last night with my parents for our usual Friday night dinner. The place was near empty, but we had to wait the proverbial 10 minutes to get a table. Just for the 3 of us! There was one booth near the front of the restaurant that was not clean & still had dishes. Seriously??? It was about 9ish at night when we came here. It took freaking forever to get our drinks & the usual cheddar bay biscuits. Not cool. I ordered the oven-broiled wild-caught flounder, & I told the waitress that I could not have butter. What came out was horrifying. I got about 6 tiny portions of translucent flaky fish with no seasoning. It looked like it was simply steamed. The fish was simply bland & had not taste at all. Just a sprinkle of fresh parsley or some unknown tiny leafy veggie/herb. My dad did not like his dish at all. He got some kind of caribbean fish dish of some sort that I can not recall. Not once did the waitress bother to checkup on us. This is the utmost worst experience I have ever had with Red Lobster or for any restaurant that I can recall. Never again. read more

We went to Red Lobster on Lindbergh on 02/12/2017 and we were not impressed. Service was fine salad and biscuits were good. We both ordered the Admirals Feast and it was a 20$ platter and very disappointing. Tasted like frozen crap out of a box and very low quality. Also not impressed by there 9$ margaritas. Very unhappy and not going back any time soon. Get a lot more bang for your buck elsewhere that's for sure. Next time we have a seafood craving just gonna get some Captain D'S or Long John Silvers. Second times a charm I guess and we will never be coming back. I'll stay local with peacemaker in Benton park! Service was awful. The waitress started out by spilling water all over me and the table then had the buss boy bring napkins you just set them there for us to clean up and our waitress never once tried to clean up HER mess. The food was cold when we finally got it. Half way through the mail I felt ill and then right before we wanted our check we finally got my daughters French fries. They told us they were out of bread which blows my mind and every other tables waitress we're bringing them bread. Everything that could have went wrong went wrong. My fiancé sent back the scallops be ordered cause they were not what he even order. I also heard the table in front of us keep sending things back cause it tasted bad or was cold. Idk what's going on here but we have always loved Red lobster so that's why we gave you another chance. But sadly we will not be coming back. I can't handle paying for things that are awful tasting that she did not take off our bill like she was suppose to. When we went to leave there is 10 or so servers just standing around gossiping with no manager in sight... Guess he was off that night and it was a free for all... My wife and I celebrated our 24th anniversary with an excellent dinner here on a Tuesday evening. Despite having a packed parking lot, we were seated immediately. My wife ordered the Parmesan Crusted Tilapia and enjoyed it very much. My salmon was cooked perfectly and everything on both our plates arrived piping hot. A delicious piece of Key Lime pie topped it off and the rich biscuits were a hit with us as always. Emily was our server and was personable and handled serving us in an excellent manner. Only reason for low review is the manager on duty, Chris, New Year's Eve. Called early to get our name on list for evening and asked for a specific server. Only thing he had available was 4:00 or 7:45. Told him we would come in at 4:00 and wait for Amanda. Then I was told that he didn't have the floor schedule made up yet and even if we waited for Amanda, he couldn't guarantee that we would get her because he didn't know if she would be a runner or server. "She has always been a server, but OK". Then I said if we weren't able to have Amanda as our server, we would not come in but wait for another time. Then he said they had other good servers, to which I said, you probably do, we've never had a problem with any of the servers, but we preferred to have Amanda and give her the tip. He had an attitude and was not very pleasant or accommodating. We did not go in that night and waited until New Year's Day, where we called in ahead of time, got our name on the list for Amanda, Debbie was the manager this day, and was seated with Amanda within a reasonable time frame, and had a wonderful dinner. Ordered the Admiral's Feast. Any admiral would have sent this one back. The broccoli was steamed with no taste at all. The fried clams were so hard and dried out, we both left them sit. Then to top it all off, a black roach crawls across our table to end the meal coming from our basket of biscuits. Never again! read more
