Good here is pretty predictable and very good. Not your high end food but pretty good sea food for your money. Tonight had cageon shrimp platter and raspberry and strawberry shake shared by 2. I never have a reaction, the runs and bad cold flushes after going to a restaurant. Either your shrimp is off or your shakes are. Thank God I am not throwing up, but tonight is still not done yet. Moral of the story - it was delicious. This was my first time going to a Red Lobster and it for sure lived up to its reputation. It was so good. The service was also exceptional, my roommate ordered the Lobster feast and our server brought extra crab legs out. It was comparably priced for sure and had unlimited biscuits. It was a good experience. They have tablets on the table that allows you to pay as soon as you want to which makes the exit process smooth and convenient. read more

I went here the other day with my two cousins. I heard Red Lobster is closing down in the future so I decided to come try it out long before it happens. I also have heard about Red Lobster when I was in grade school and I've read a lot about the food in novels. I entered the restaurant and I was greeted with a disgusting urine smell. The bathrooms are close to the entrance but there should NOT be something that awful when customers come in. Our waiter lead us to a booth behind a family which we found sort of awkward because there were many other booths available. I took awhile to choose but I settled on the 4-Course Feast and I picked: Hand-breaded shrimp, New England clam chowder, caesar salad, and the caramel cheesecake. My cousins picked the shrimp alfredo linguine and the haddock and chips. My New England clam chowder came and it had an okay smell to it. It had an alright flavour but nothing to write home about. I had few spoonfuls and didn't finish the rest. Campbell New England clam chowder is 10 times better. My caesar salad was weird? I didn't think it was possible to mess up salad but their caesar dressing tasted a bit funky? I thought my shrimp would be bigger and breaded nicely with panko or something similar. I was very wrong. It was small shrimp covered in flour deep fried. I want to say popcorn shrimp but it wasn't even up to standard. Fries came with my shrimp. The sauces accompanied with my meal were ketchup and a "sweet chili." I know my sweet chili sauce and the one I tasted was [expletive] disgusting. I almost puked. It was nasty. My cousins loved the shrimp alfredo linguine and they found the haddock to be alright. I traded with my little cousin: my shrimp for her fish. I think I only had two shrimp before I traded it to her. The fish was a bit better than the shrimp. I ate all my fries though. That was basically my meal. I wanted to try the lobster but my cousins and I were casually dining as students. So...no. It's too expensive aha... But the caramel cheesecake and the nice waiter were the ONLY redeeming features of my visit. My cousins enjoyed their stay. I will more than likely never return. read more

Had Birthday dinner here last week. Promptly seated after vax checkin. Joe our server was excellent...very customer service oriented...anticipated our request for more napkins. Had 2 Admirals Feasts, which were excellent and took half home. Tall ceasar drink was tasty. Complimentary birthday ice cream was a nice touch. Very reasonably priced dinner with excellent service. The food was delicious but sorry, I cannot give a higher rating because it is just so darned expensive for what little you get. My brother and I went out for crab dinner and neither of us drank anything but water, had apps or dessert. Our bill was almost $60 and my brother was still hungry (and he is not a big eater). They have raised their prices but the meals no longer come with a salad or veggies and they are so stingy with the "free" cheddar bay biscuits. read more

Came here for my brothers 19 birthday and it did not end well. He and my parents ordered the chicken fettuccine and they said it taste funny. They had lobster/crab fest but were all out of Dungeness crab. Well on our drive back to our hotel everyone that ordered the chicken fettuccine got sick. Not a good way to end a birthday. I have been to many Red Lobsters throughout the years but hands down this was the worst. Calamari appetizer was disgusting. Like something out of the frozen food section thrown into a microwave. Shrimp fettuccine was tasteless. Something you could have made from a package at dollar store. Never had refills on the bread or water. Salad was wilted. The bill for 2 was almost $100. Ordered online for Mother's Day and expected a wait. Email said it would be ready in a half hour. Two hours later and half an hour on the phone and still no food. Finally someone picks up the phone. They couldn't refund the order because all of the managers were too busy helping the staff but they would try to call us tomorrow. Not worth the hassle for their sub-par seafood. read more

Had really great service here. Our waitress was Jessica and she was wonderful, polite and very attentive. The food was delicious we all ordered the seafood platters. Ate here this past Mon about 4:15pm. No wait, which was great, selected booth. Erin our server was prompt with menus and drinks. Biscuits were plentiful. Seafood stuffed mushroom appetizer was great. I experienced anaphylactic shock again at Red Lobster. This is not the first time but it was worse. My throat tightened up and I had to leave the table. It was mild so I did not ask for emergency help. I spoke with the wait staff and manager, who were all very kind and understanding, but I felt like this has never happened to anyone here before. I ate the biscuits, green salad with 1000 island dressing, tilapia fish tacos and the rice served with them. I brought home 2 tacos and thought I would try them to see if they were the culprit. They were not. When I checked online for the allergy information, the rice has sulphites in it. This may have been the problem but I am still investigating. Most of their menu items have this ingredient and it is used as a preservative. Unfortunately, I cannot eat here anymore although I've eaten there for years with no problems. Somewhere along the line, they have changed their food and have lost a good customer. read more
