I have never been to this salon, but they somehow got a hold of my phone number. I have replied STOP to unsubscribe to their unsolicited marketing (appears to be run by TapMango) on three separate occasions, but continue to receive unwanted text messages. The TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) explicitly states that you must get consent--in writing--before sending commercial text messages to any customer. The TCPA helps protect consumers from robotexts and spam. Fines for texting customers without permission can be as high as $18,936 per violation. Maybe they'll stop texting me now or talk to their marketing company to avoid paying significant fines. read more

They were able to fit me in immediately on this Friday morning and Kevin, the nail technician, was super fast! He was such a pro that I've figured he's been working for Red Nails forever so I was surprised to hear he's only been there a week...Red Nails is lucky to have him! And I was lucky to find Red Nails, especially because of their prices! $15 for fills!! Pretty exciting since I usually spend over $30 in Chicago. So far, so good. This was only my second visit to Red Nails. I tend to make appointments the day of and both times they were able to accommodate me on a Sunday. I have had two technicians who have both been friendly. Yesterday, I had a young man named Michael who was new to the salon. He was very sweet and you can tell he has a passion towards the industry having grown up in salons. He did a nice job on my pedi. The salon is clean and does not smell. I'm always greeted warmly and I love the text reminders I receive when I make appointment--again, a step up from other nail salons. As far as technicians, Mike is wonderful!! My 2nd visit to this place and my nail tech Trish was late for personal reasons, which is understandable. We are human and run late sometimes. So I went to get a sandwich to eat because I am pregnant and hungry. I get back to the salon and she is there. She is mad at me and told me she does not have time to do my pedicure and nails! I'm in shock. And this was a day before my baby shower. I said to her, "It's not fair to ME "the client" that you were late and now I can't receive services. A day before my baby shower!" I tried to speak with the Manager Steve. Unfortunately he didn't care. I understand my $120 service meant nothing to them. So I spent about 2 hours in the rain in my car calling around to get an appointment on a Friday before Easter. I wanted to voice my experience regarding how unfair I was treated a day before my baby shower. Most of these nail salons do not care and I wish I knew how to do my own nails. Worst experience! The pedicure water was way to hot and the woman keep trying to force m get in them. She this is hot?!?! Then she cupped it with her hands to put it in my leg then burned me. I told I had Eczema on my feet and to please be careful. She didn't listen and hurt me many times with the pumas. I was soaking with the gels on my hands during this. A few weeks ago I had my regular appointment scheduled, I had an appointment cancel, so I called to see if t they could fit me in earlier, they said sure, come on in. I arrived and was asked to have a seat. An hour later I was still waiting, so I asked why they said to come in and was told sorry they thought they could fit me in. So I left and went somewhere else. I figured I would give them another chance and called and made an appointment today for the person I normally use, I get their and someone else comes to ask me what type of service I wanted. I said I am waiting for Kay. Only to be told she was unavailable. I said I specifically asked for her when I called, only to be told she is not available. I went to this nail salon for a pedicure and gel manicure a few weeks ago. The nail technician was kind and efficient. Unfortunately the gel polish they used on my nails had a bubble a few hours after getting them done. The bubble lifted within a few hours and the gel polish was wet underneath getting gel polish all over my hands. I called the salon the following day and spoke with the manager, he told me to come in and they will redo them. I thought it was the way she did my nails, not the polish, so I got the same color (perfect match #1 red). They redid my nails no charge and I thought all was fixed. Then the next day the gel polish began to crack. (I've been getting gel nails for 8 years with no problems like this ever before.) I called back again and spoke with a woman who said he name was "Hannah" I asked for the manager and she said he wasn't in that day and no need to talk to him, she will help me. I explained the situation and she told me to come in, initially she said to come in a week and i explained i needed my nails done for an event and would need to come back sooner. I went into the salon and spoke to "Hannah" i explained their polish must be bad because this is the second time this polish cracked and had bubbles. She told me they would redo my nails but "not to come back there anymore" she was so so rude it knocked me off my feet. I am a good customer, have referred my mother, brothers gf and many friends to go there as they are normally great. I have never been treated this way at a nail salon. I am a kind customer who tips well and never is looking for a free handout. I just wanted my nails done properly so they last 2 weeks. Needless to say, I will never be going back here, their polish is either filled with alcohol, watered down, old or just not good quality. I am very disappointed in the way I was treated. I have had my nexgen done by Andy twice, he is fairly new here but excellent. My issue is that they are very overpriced on their services. $40.00 for nexgen on my own nails is pretty hefty especially when you add a pedicure then tipping on top it is close to $90.00. Not everyone that lives in Boca is made of money. My solution might be just to get my nails done by Andy and get a pedicure elsewhere or look for more recommendations. To the owners consider your prices, you might get busy again if you are more competitive. My 4 stars is just for Andy!! read more

Got my 4 her old (please don't judge me!) her first ever salon manicure (actually a polish change) for 5 bux. We wlaked in at about 5:15 on a Thursday and they were mobbed so we came back just around closing time and they gave her a very quick polish with a pale pink OPI shade. She also got silver "sparklies" on each thumb for no additional charge. The fumes were hideous and a well ventilated nail salon should NOT reek of polish, but the asian staff was very nice. Was recommended by two friends on Facebook. They both said they use the technician Mimi. She was very nice, had much personality. I would recommend this place but not if you're wanting nail art or designs done. They overcharge for a gel mani ($30) so that you'll opt for the NexGen ($35) instead. They're also in the process of moving, but will be in the same plaza only at an easier to find location. This was my first time trying NexGen, it's a bit bulky, feels like acrylic is on my natural nail. Not terrible but I don't feel like it's quite for me. I'll be going back to my previous salon for a regular gel manicure as they last about 2-3 weeks for me even while pregnant. Owner of this place was extremely nice. The waxing lady then told me that I would have only enough time to do bikini.
