Rhonda is easy to talk to & very down-to-earth. Dan and his install team work well together, and with only three of them, were able to do 13 windows (remove & install new) in one day. Very pleased with the quality of the custom windows, and Rhonda offered three different choices of UV protective glass (we chose the middle grade). Keep in mind, though, the windows are built to order, so it was a month after we first met with Rhonda that the installers came. I can't give enough praise in words to thank Rhonda and her team for the effortless transition from old, worn out, builder's grade windows, to the beautiful windows they installed.

I called on a weekday afternoon and they had the window delivered and installed the next morning. Now that is what I call service. Plus they came to my residence and replaced the window in my driveway. My only issue is when I close the door with the replacement window, it rattles and the installer told me it's tiny bits and pieces of glass that couldn't be vacuumed out. He said the pieces will eventually drop out through small holes at the bottom of the door molding. This hasn't happened yet. A little annoying especially on a luxury car.

"Larry" refused to "return" or redo the glass and told the delivery guy to leave the glass here and go. I could see nothing would get accomplished with the delivery driver, so I went down to their store in-person (I didn't bring the glass because it wouldn't fit in a car). "Larry" met me at the entrance and started yelling and making threats: "Who doya think you are! You BETTER be here to pay your bill! You received the glass you ordered!" "It's the wrong size." "You sent us the measurements!" "No, your guys came out and did the measuring." "NO THEY DIDD-INT!" "Yes, they did." [IT'S LIKE TALKING TO A SIX-YEAR-OLD.] After more back-and-forth, I told "Larry" I'd give them a bad review ("Go ahead, like it f---ing matters to us!"). He then threatened to "blacklist" my name with other local glass companies so I wouldn't be able to get my order made elsewhere! In all this dealing with "Larry Sheever," I kept my cool--but barely. I left, paid the bill on my credit card (my wife had to call the card number in to "Larry's" wife because they don't/didn't have ANY other payment options), then waited a few weeks for the credit card statement to generate. I promptly reported the $290 charge as fraud and now I'm leaving this review. Sportsman Glass never responded or followed up with me, but I did get my money back through Visa. If these guys aren't the worst mom-and-pop business in Collin County, I don't know who is.

It was like preparing for a PhD in window science, reading more reviews than I can count, and getting several estimates to compare. It wasn't a decision we took lightly, and Precision Windows came out on top! If you're thinking about "investing" in new windows, buckle up because it's a bit of a process. Both times, they scheduled a person to come out, measure our windows, and give us an estimate. It's not cheap folks! This is why we decided to break up the job, several months apart, so we could afford it, and that was no problem for Precision Windows. Nice! Scheduling the installation, though, was like trying to align the stars. Keep in mind they also have a busy calendar (and have to factor in the weather). No doubt it took some teamwork to get everything lined up. The crew that showed up was fantastic! They called 30 minutes ahead before they arrived, they were respectful of our property, friendly, and they asked us to inspect each window to ensure we were happy before they left. YES, we had a couple of windows that cracked under pressure and needed replacing. Just so you know, this is 100% normal in the world of window installation. Precision Windows gave us the best estimate and didn't ask for a dime until the job was complete and we were satisfied. They're clear in the contract--payment only happens after you're happy with the work. Now, as an Elite Yelper, I'm a bit shocked by the negative reviews posted here. It's like people have found this one platform to dump on the company and be heard. I assure you this is a tiny percentage of opinions compared to their reviews on many other platforms (like Google) ... if you care to read the reputation they truly deserve. In short, I highly recommend getting a few estimates and paying attention to the customer service before signing any contract. But if you ask me, Precision Windows did an outstanding job. I hope my review encourages you to get an estimate from Precision Windows and not let the negative reviews on Yelp turn you away.
