This will be my new go-to spot for fast casual food near Central Park. The portions are great, the food is fresh and delicious and the flavor combos are exciting. The bowl contains a good mixture of beef, shrimp and salmon (my selections) along with a wide variety of veggies and mix-ins as well as a good base of brown rice. The bowl was solid and a perfect meal for anyone looking for good healthy and hearty fast casual with a Korean twist. Service was fast and easy - you fill out a menu with a marker, hand it to the person and they make it for you. They also provide water there as well.

Delicious poke and cool ordering system with the menus you can draw on to sell your toppings! Pretty cheap as well, and there are so many toppings options. The bowl size is pretty big, but you can pack the rest to go home! The restaurant itself is quite clean and very bright!

Build Create Your Medium Bowl Looks are deceiving - tons of rice deep in the bowl

This place is alright - it's good in a pinch such as before going to a show, but I feel like the portions are crazy. I got a medium bowl with tuna and salmon and tons of toppings and it was like 5-6 cups of brown rice with 1 cup of fish and toppings. It's just way too much rice for the small amount of toppings. It feels like a waste of money because I'm not eating all that rice. Maybe they should offer half salad half rice. I got two buns. The beef one is great, but the pork one tastes like vomit. It not only ripped the bun in half bc it was soggy but the flavor was disgusting. I had one bite and spit it out. The workers are quick and friendly though. The space is huge inside and there is a lot of tables to sit out which makes it good to wait in before a show.

This is a great spot for a quick and satisfying lunch. Unlike other poke places, Red Poke offers not only raw fish but also a variety of cooked protein options, making it a perfect choice for those who aren't fans of raw fish but still want to enjoy poke. They also have a wide selection of sides with no limit on how many you can choose. A medium bowl is $13.75, and a large is $16.50--I usually go for the medium, which is plenty for me. The shop also has some seating available if you prefer to dine in. Definitely a solid choice for poke lovers and newcomers alike!

Recently tried Red Poke in Midtown, New York as a quick lunch. This restaurant is located right in the middle of Midtown on a busy street so there's not many parking options. As soon as you enter the store you are greeted by a very nice ambience. The store is very clean, but there's not many seating options on the inside of the store. I visited this place right at lunchtime so there were quite a few people ahead of me, but the line moved pretty quickly. I loved this restaurant because you can choose between raw or cooked meat and they also have many different protein options like cooked salmon, cook shrimp, Chicken, but they also have raw fish for the sushi lovers. You put your order down on a piece of paper and you check different boxes and then you hand the paper over to the cashier which puts in your order. I love this place because they make the food right in front of you And all the ingredients look extremely fresh. My order took less than five minutes and I decided to order a bowl with white rice, salmon and tuna. For my topping I opted for cucumber, edamame, onion, scallions, Nori, and tempura flakes. When it came to the sauces I picked the spicy Sriracha and the wasabi aioli. The portion size was very reasonable when put in comparison with the price, which was less than $20. The bowl tasted absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the sauces made it even more tasty. I would definitely recommend this place to any local and to any person visiting New York.

Ordered a Salmon bowl for lunch and it was fantastic - the fish was super fresh, the staff were friendly when I picked it up, and it was plenty of food. One drawback is that relative to toppings there's an aggressive amount of rice. If there was a bit less rice and more of the toppings it would be a solid 5/5

Honestly my favorite poke spot, I've a tried a few others but I can't catch a flavor I like... other favorite is alllll the way in Colorado -_- The bowl that steals my heart is their signature red poke! This is the first time I went to this location in the theater district, the one I'm familiar with is nearer to the Port Authority. Wish they have more locations & ones to bring in NEW JERSEY (*hint hint corporate!!*) Space is clean & lots of seating! The service is quick & fast, my bowl was ready in like 3 minutes! But it's still early dinner time. Otherwise I highly recommend :)

    Pork dumpling

I ordered a spicy pork bowl. There was so much meat and sauce, I could barely eat it and threw it away. It was basically a bowl of mush with very little rice and very little of anything else. I also ordered pork dumpling and it had very little flavor - tastes like veggie. The sauce has good flavor but that's about it.

Very much enjoyed my take-out Young Sook Lee (회덮밥) bowl, which was fresh and had a zing of spice. Appreciated that I was able to order online for pick-up at a specific time and that I could choose "environment friendly" with no bag, napkins, or utensils!

Create Your Large Bowl with salmon and tuna- super stingy toppings
    Sydney H.

Disappointing experience overall. I went into the store to order, it was not crowded. It's a really confusing layout - I went up to the counter to order and they told me I had to go to the other side of the store and write my order on a menu with a marker. Doesn't really make sense as they have the same assembly line setup as any other poke place. When I brought my order back, the guy behind the counter completely ignored me (walked by multiple times) and then proceeded to serve another guy who was behind me in line. The bowl itself was subpar. The toppings were the stingiest I've ever seen. I paid an extra dollar for kimchi and got a thimble full, and the "tamago" is just a couple paper thin, fingernail-sized shreds. Really pathetic. The fish serving was about average though I will say.

It's just good Poke. Felt like writing a review for this despite it being corporate take out lunch because it's so rare that I find a good noodle base at a Poke takeout but Red Poke has a very diverse selection of not only protein but also carb base and sauce. I'd say for those reasons it's my favorite in the city. Also does not get lost in the sauce and maintains clean flavor.

The effortless tranquility encourages you to slow down, enjoy the food, and get away from the everyday, hubbub. Their menu leans into fusion dishes with a nod to some of the classic home-style classics. Everything is presented with a refined, elevated touch. Here's what we ordered: ~ Tako Wasabi - 5/5 stars A fiery delight. This appetizer feartures chopped raw octopus marinated in wasabi. It has a lively zest from the wasabi and is topped with tobiko, which adds a pleasant contrast in texture. ~ Honey Makgeolli - 4/5 stars A traditional fermented Korean beverage that is light and pairs brilliantly with your meal. It is a cloudy alcholoic drink served in a metal teapot, and surprisingly, there is much more in that teapot than you would expect. It easily provides six to eight generous pours. The flavor is subtly sweet with a pleasant tang. ~ Temaki Set - 4/5 stars You can order a set of three by choosing from selections 1-17, or you can order a la carte at the listed prices. Some of the temaki stood out more than others. Our two sets included marinated salmon, bluefin tuna, spicy yellowtail, spicy bluefin, and two dynamite temaki. ~ Spicky Pork Ssam Set - 5/5 stars Truly another standout entree that even surpassed my beloved grilled BBQ bossam. You received a generous basket of assorte greens, including romaine, kale, perilla leaves, dandelion leaves, nappa cabbage, and more. It is well worth the price and makes for a fun, interactive dining experience with your family and friends. There is also various banchan offered and this time, they were beyond kind enough to offer refills. The last time we were here, we ordered just as much food and they stated they normally did not offer refills, which I thought was very odd. With its casual bougie aesthetics, this spot has quickly become one of my favorite eateries in Fort Lee-lee, It beautifully blends Korean, Japanese, and American flavors in a way that feels both comforting and elevated. Needless to say, we will be back!

When we pulled up to the restaurant, we were informed there were a few levels. We went to the second floor and they were happy to accommodate us. We were rolling 6 deep and the booth was enough for us, but barely. In our party, majority of us wanted meat with the exception of 2 people only wanting shrimp and something else. We got the large beef combination platter which comes with ribeye, thin skirt, brisket, marinated kalbi, and marinated chuck flap. Most people stuck with water, while a couple got ginger ale. I ordered the soju flight but I ended up not liking it so my cousins shared it. The meal comes with different veggies as well as your choice of soup. We got the spicy tofu and split it 6 ways. The spice lived up to its name, so I didn't eat very much. The best part was meat. Despite there being 6 of us, there was plenty to go around. I think you have the option to cook it yourself or have them cook it for you and we chose the latter. While I enjoyed it, I wish there was more space. Most of the space was taken up by the accompaniments that come with it (veggies, etc), so there was hardly any room to put anything else. It didn't help that none of our dishes were cleared once we finished them and that no rice is included. Aside from that, both the food and service were great.
