dissapointed. I really tried to like the experience, but everything on the menu just seemed to be missing one or two ingredients. The push towards simplicity but unique ingredients just left every entre on the menu unappetizing. I settled on the pizza, which sure was alright, but even that, only the dough felt special. It didn't really taste like anything. Not to mention, everything here is under salted. Great ambiance, our server was present, the staff was nice, but the food was the worst part. Red rabbit is often a go to for me when entertaining guests. It has ample selections for meat eaters as well as vegetarians. The service is always excellent and I really like their drink selection. The food is always well prepared, but I do wish they would refresh or add to their vegetarian and vegan items. I rarely go there on my own or seek it out because I end up ordering the same thing every time. It's good, but I'd love to have a few more choices. Wife and I go on the date, she chooses this place, not me. The service was very friendly and everyone was really nice, all around. My wife ordered some pasta that came out really really salty. We pushed it back but my wife mention what it could be the sauce that is so salty. After 5-10 minutes, they brought a new pasta meal, but it tasted exactly the same. They didn't charge us for that salty dish. We ended up giving it to our kids and they demolished it in 30 seconds. Anywho, everyone has their own taste buds and this is America! Red rabbit had been on my list for quite some time and it exceed my expectations! Their menu has a variety of options, making it a great spot for almost anyone. We had a lot of fun with their spritz menu and many of us ordered a different type of spritz from the menu. We were served very quickly and had lots of attentive staff who ensured we had everything we needed! I had the mostaccioli pasta and it was incredible. I tend to shy away from pastas with a white sauce but im so glad that I gave this a shot! The noodles are lathered in a goat cheese sauce and on top of the noodles, they have a delicious marinara blend. The dish was the perfect blend of rich and savory and the portions were perfect! The restaurant is open and spacious with lots of great natural lighting. I believe there is a parking lot but also plenty of street parking. When planning a date night, we always think of Red Rabbjt first! On a Friday night, it was lively on Grand Avenue. Our server was very helpful and fun, giving us entree suggestions. We started with the focaccia and marinara as an appetizer, YUM! Very fluffy and garlicky, so delicious. We love the Minneapolis location, but the Summit Hill spot has become our go-to thanks to the calmer vibe, extra space, incredible service, and consistently amazing food. Great Italian themed food at Red Rabbit. We started with the calamari which was very delicious, perfectly deep fried and crispy. Our main meals were also very tasty, but a tad bit on the salty side, especially the linguine and clams, but our amazing and very attentive waiter did warn me that it was salty. The whole restaurant is very nice, it's a packed place every night, plenty of room for seating. We did have to wait for a table, but the bar was open and had plenty of seats available. Our waiter was friendly and recommended darn near everything on the menu. In hindsight I left with regrets of not ordering the meatballs but I guess I'll just have to come back. Started off with the garlic cheese curds. Not bad, but were creamy (not squeaky like you'd expect) and were served with a delicious marinara dipping sauce. Caesar salad was "the best I've ever had" stated our server. It was good. I liked how it was not served with romaine but overall just ok. 7/10. Hubby ordered a pizza and enjoyed it. My chicken parm came out with the wrong noodles, I ate the chicken while we waited for a new side of noodles. Due to the delay they remade the entire dish and I was able to enjoy this meal again the next day. Things happen, I get it. And they did a great job at service recovery. We came here for date night because we had a free bottle of champagne. It surprised us in so many ways! The waiter had great recommendations and we went with cavatelli and lasagna.
