Another fantastic linden hills restaurant! The interior is cozy and romantic for date nights. We went on a Sunday evening during a Vikings game and there were plenty of tables but I imagine it gets busy on other nights. Our server was great. Based on other reviews, we tried the brussel sprout appetizer, which were the best brussel sprouts I've ever had. For $9, it was a huge serving. The focaccia was also the best bread I've ever had-- we asked if they sell that and it's only served with meals which I'm bummed about. The white bucatini and short rib pasta were amazing! I will definitely be back!

There are restaurants that I go to that I can't decide what I want to eat. This is one of them so I ordered two plates.

I just had one of the best meals in a while, and I've gotta talk about it. First, the black truffle pasta--honestly, it was next level. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the truffle added this rich, earthy flavor that didn't overwhelm the dish, but still made every bite feel like a treat. Super creamy, but not too heavy, so I could still enjoy it without feeling stuffed. Then there were the roasted Brussels sprouts, which were a surprise hit. They had that perfect crispy outer layer while staying soft inside. Honestly, I never thought Brussels sprouts could taste so good, but these were on point. Finally, the tiramisu--wow. It was sweet, but not overly so, with just the right amount of espresso flavor. Perfect way to wrap up the meal. The service was solid too. Our server was super nice and really on top of things. The overall restaurant environment was comfortable and welcoming. Just a really smooth experience all around. I'm definitely coming back for this kind of meal again.

I was able to get a reservation a week out for 6:30 on a Saturday night, for south Minneapolis restaurants, that's pretty great as they normally book out by at least two weeks! The environment was lack luster, definitely more of a cafe vibe. I was expecting something a little more of a dinner vibe as it felt like lunch service and the restaurant is quite small. I ordered the red bucatini and was surprised by the spice. I can handle heat but this was very hot. I ended up asking to swap for the white bucatini and the staff was friendly and allowed me to do so! I would not recommend the spicy rigatoni or the red bucatini for those who don't like spice. Stick to the short rib & the white bucatini. I would definitely go back here but would order the Caesar and the short rib!

Chef Adam and staff absolutely crushed it again tonight with an amazing meal from start to finish!!

    Focaccia for friends! :)

Incredible restaurant. Remarkable food. Capable of fixing the economy. Compliments are not enough; we need to worship the chef. The chicken was described as if "Chappell Roan and Gordon Ramsey had a baby." Thought to be a ridiculous price as a $12 add-on, boy were we wrong. I believe I watch my sister transcend as she tried it. The focaccia??? Incapable of being described in mere words. We had to get multiple rounds!! You will rest well having tried this bread. You're welcome, insomniacs. Next, the tiramisu-- how to incapsulate the tiramisu? It is something one has to try for themself. Whatever you get on the menu is sure to be delicious, and at least one of us will be back next week. 9 million dollars to the waitress. Make sure to eat here. No matter what.

The spice cake was good, but not great.

They weren't able to do that with the burrata pasta due to the burrata ball on top which was completely fine! Both pasta dishes were tasty but the lemon pesto burrata blew me away. Every bite was absolutely incredible and it's such a unique dish that's hard to find somewhere else or replicate at home. I completely recommend giving it a try. The focaccia bread appetizer was also amazing! We added & paid for a few extra pieces to accommodate the size of our group and everyone absolutely loved it. The drinks were also really well done & strong without being overly stiff. They were really well mixed and tasty. Our server was so sweet and helped make the experience so special for us. I cannot wait to come back!

I love the pink and green, and the place settings are gorgeous. Bonus: the team is super fast with clearing and bringing replacements so you always have a clean plate. Add in huge windows that brings in tons of light, and you have one of the most photogenic eateries in town. Dario's beverage menu is wonderful, and I especially want to draw attention to their extensive selection of non-alcoholic options. In addition to house-made sodas and creative cocktails, they have a wonderful list of dealcoholized wines--awesome news for anyone who is looking for a zero proof drink. As for the food, Dario knocks it out of the park with a menu that offers options for all tastes. The menu is designed to share, and the variety ensures that there will be something for everyone. The first two dishes that ai sampled were the Gem Lettuces, which our server described as "a Caesar salad on steroids" and the Morel Mushrooms. The Gem Lettuces were delicious--the zippy vinaigrette was better than any Caesar I have had before, the cheese was a fluffy, savory, and salty delight, and the puffed farro was a pleasing alternative to the usual croutons. Bonus: it's fish-free! I'd say that it's less a Caesar salad on steroids and more what happens when the Caesar salad next door goes off to college and has a glow-up. The morels were served on polenta and complemented with Madeira and tarragon. They came with a confit egg yolk. The presentation was strikingly beautiful, and the flavors pure and harmonious. The morels were cooked perfectly and went beautifully with the wine and tarragon--it was a great dish for spring, and everyone enjoyed the layers of texture and flavor. For our pasta choices, we had the English Pea Triangoli that Lu recommended (thanks Lu!) and the doppio. It's easy to see why Dario is known for its pasta--these dishes were amazing. The English Pea Triangoli was otherworldly: sweet peas, snap peas, onions, mint, and pea sprouts come together with butter to make a nostalgic little bite of heaven. It tastes like spring. Sicilian pistachios add crunch and another layer of sweet and salt, and the lightly steamed vegetables and fresh pea shoots and mint also added layers of texture and freshness. Positively superlative. The Doppio was also gorgeous: one side is filled with ricotta and the other sunchoke. Honey adds sweetness and the hazelnuts toastiness reminiscent of browned butter. The rosemary complemented it all. For my dessert, I had the Earl Gray tea cake. It had a very pleasing crumb and subtle sweetness, and the lemon whipped cream was the perfect accompaniment. The sprinkle of toffee cookie added a lovely caramelized crunch, and the bright acidity of the rhubarb was preserved, making for a juicy and refreshing burst of flavor in every bite. Splendid! Thanks to Dario for a wonderful evening!

Tucked away in its own little corner of North Loop, there is some paid parking directly outside otherwise walking from nearby street parking is possible too! The interior of the space is whimsical and fun with green and pink interior design elements, gold accents, and fun artwork! It truly feels like a special escape from reality when inside...similar to an Alice in Wonderland experience. Our server was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about what to order. I particularly appreciated how our pasta came out in intentional courses from lightest to heaviest. It absolutely elevated the meal to top notch. Known for their handmade pasta, we didn't mess around with any other menu items...we just ordered four different plates of pasta: Doppio, Torteletti, Rigatoni Alla Vodka, and Tajarin! The Doppio was my favorite, with a unique double filled pasta that had a savory sunchoke filling highlighted with a pop of whipped ricotta. The Rigatoni was cozy and warm, serving up perfect comfort food vibes. The Tajarin was the ocean in a bowl and my partner's favorite, but it was a bit too salty for my palate. The food was top notch and the environment was stellar, but I did feel a bit of cognitive dissonance. The food was so grounded, earthy, and cozy yet the interior was whimsical, playful, and ethereal. This disconnect took my out of the experience a bit. Add in that the price points are a bit high, and I could see why some might have different expectations. Overall, I'm glad Dario is taking swings at providing something truly unique to the North Loop! I will absolutely be returning!

When my friend and I walked in, we came into a fairly spacious dimly lit space with loads of people inside. We were immediately informed that there would be over 1.5hr wait for a walk-in table. We were given the option to wait for bar seating as it would probably be quicker - and surely, it was. We did have to wait quite a bit, but it was a tolerable amount of time and definitely less than what it would have taken for an actual table. My friend and I decided to share 2 pizza pies as we wanted to get a taste of two different flavors, so we eventually settled on Korean BBQ & Perfect Pickle Pie. KOREAN BBQ As it was created by a Korean chef, it definitely had true authentic Korean flavors. As a Korean myself, I was very familiar with this soy vinaigrette and have tried this on many salad before - so, it was hitting home for me. Also, you can't go wrong with the bulgogi/beef short ribs known to all those who had Korean BBQ before. The combination of the sauces that they use for this pizza is definitely very rich, full of umami. I personally enjoyed it. PERFECT PICKLE PIE This pie was a totally different flavor to the Korean BBQ. It's less rich and maybe can be overpowered or considered more bland compared to other pizza flavors. But when tried together with the BBQ, it balances out the richness of the BBQ with the more subtle/less umami flavors. This pie gives more of a tangy/sour taste that pickles provide and more of a crunch due to the chips that are added on top. The dill is present, but not overpowering. It's a nice low-key kind of taste that people who like pickles will enjoy. Overall, the flavors were very rich in every pizza pie that we had that our mouths were bursting with flavor. It was definitely the most unique pizza toppings that I've had and can see why it's so highly regarded. I can tell that they really are meticulous with their every process and that their pizza guy by the wood fire oven is expertise in what he does. My friend and I walked out quite satisfied and I was honestly more full than I expected.
