Customer service is worst. This cashier need to learn a whole lot of etiquette. Today 5/7 I went to get their famous palabok. First I ordered the family size and immediately the cashier said to me the total amount. I said to her not yet I'm not done ordering. She replied obnoxiously "I'm just saying" so I ignored her remarks and I continue to order the rest and politely I said that's all so I paid. I was waiting for her to give me the receipt And nothing. So I asked can I get my receipt - instead of giving it to me she put it on the counter and ignored me. If she she is having issue whatsoever she needs to realize that she is dealing with people and have to be patient and nice to people. It was beyond dry and flavorless. The flan had too much gelatin and had no caramel. The ube part of the cake was so dry it was like sand texture. Also the freshness was questionable. RED RIBBON BAKESHOP'S cakes were perfect desserts after the strong-flavored Chinese luncheon. MANGO SUPREME DEDICATION CAKE and UBE OVERLOAD DEDICATION CAKE were amazing! I ordered them on the website and paid for both several days before the pick up day and time. Unfortunately, it appears no one checks their incoming orders because I received a call on my way to pick up the cakes telling me one of the cakes' sizes has been discontinued for months now. No attempts to correct their mistake or make up for it at all. The worker even suggested I take a smaller cheaper cake instead of the missing larger and more expensive cake. The manager refunded me the ordered cake instead - as they should. I was able to get one they had on the shelf. There is a large free parking lot in the center where this bakeshop is located. There was no line to get in, and no line to order, or pick up. read more

The entrée prices are reasonable but the prices of the baked goods are nuts $4 for an empanada? The cakes are always delish and so are the ensamadas and mamons but the prices are high on these items as well. Chicken just hot out of the oven...I bought the last pork one and got two of the beef...easy to tell the difference bec it was marked on the box and they are shaped differently. The crust is golden and just shy of crunchy. I'm doing recon bec I want to buy the ube overload cake for an upcoming birthday...about $25.00...but there are some other cakes, so gorgeous. I wasn't a fan of their banana bread, perhaps because last week someone baked me a smackin' delicious loaf which wasn't an ideal time to compare! The Arroz Caldo, a chicken congee with egg is so tasty! I actually prefer it over the Vietnamese congee I grew up eating. Squeeze a little bit of real lemon (not their lemon juice packet) for a nice little zippity zing! I usually just want to pick up chicken empanadas but we always end up walking out with way more. I know most cultures have some form of empanada, but the Filipino ones are slightly sweet and the meat is always very juicy. The bakery always have empanadas that are warm, so make sure to eat one on your way home! Here to pick up two of my favorites Triple Chocolate roll cake (smaller version, if I could would order the party square size, but no possibility to finish it on due date or on my own), and the chicken empanadas spicy and regular. Those two are my go-to. Tried the Arroz Caldo few times too and tasted good with the empanadas. Butter Mamon are like sweet bread but lighter versions of their cakes. It is good with coffee. In the summer time their Halo-halo Ube are nice cold refreshing treats to have, mixed fruits and ice cream together in a cup. Service is always quick, and a clean bakeshop every visit. read more

Red Ribbon is a Filipino bakery and this location is inside of the Seafood City supermarket. I like coming here for their mamon or empanadas. They are well packaged so they make good "gifting" items. In addition they also have traditional Filipino cakes, pastries and desserts. The mamon is a Filipino sponge cake. They are individually wrapped and can be sold individually ($1.59) or as a Pack of 6 ($9.54). They have butter mamon, mocha mamon, ube mamon and even a cheesy mamon. There is an assorted pack if you are gifting them. When I buy them for my family, my parents enjoy the butter mamon and the mocha mamon the most. I really like the cheesy mamon, but honestly they all taste great. We really appreciate how they are individually wrapped so they stay moist and last longer. It's also convenient for my parents to take them to work for a snack. For the empanadas they have pork, chicken and beef. The price varies depending on the protein selection. My family enjoys the chicken so I usually get the chicken. These can be purchased individually ($2.59/chicken) or in a Box of 6 ($15.54/chicken). I usually get the Box of 6, but recently I got 2 Boxes of 6 thinking I would get 2 small boxes, but I ended up with an even nicer bigger box.
