If you are looking for soft and not-sweet cakes, I highly recommend Red Ribbon Bakeshop. I love all the cakes' flavors but my favorites are the mango cake, the chocolate cake, and the black forest cake. When you visit this location they have a menu with sliced cake. The location is inside the seafood city. Customer Service is good however sometimes they only have two staff, so when it gets busy you may have to wait a little bit. They also have an app if you want to order before pick up. The cakes sell fast so if you have a cake flavor that you wanna try it's either call the store or order online. Very disappointed with the customer service. I was already in line waiting to order and was second behind the customer in front of me. When it was finally my turn, I asked to order three lugaw, but the lady told me the kitchen was already closed. What made it frustrating was that she had clearly seen me waiting in line the whole time. If the kitchen was about to close, they should have informed the customers who were already waiting instead of making us wait only to refuse our order. This particular one like many others is located inside a seafood city which is an Asian grocery store. When you walk in you are surrounded by baked treats carefully packaged and displayed on open shelves. You have the option to pick between a few different flavors and add on to any meal of your choice. Red Ribbon also has a small kitchen where you can order noodles (pancit palabok), empanadas, and some other savory items. I recommend trying a lunch combo which comes with noodles, a slice of cake, and your choice of soda. Red Ribbon in Easten Avenue, Henderson issued flyers announcing a particular promotion of "$10 off order of $30+" for online order. I got hold of this flyer from the store in December 2025. The flyer did not state any end date effectivity, so when I placed an order online to avail of the promo on January 6, 2025, the lady who attended to me said that the promo has expired. I pointed out to her that there is no end date stated in the flyer and even showed her that the same flyer is still on display in the store just beside the cashier. She still insisted that the promo has expired and is no longer applicable. This only shows that this store personnel (or is she the manager) doesnt seem to care and has no concern for customer satisfaction at all. Venue: Often designed with a separate entrance, almost all of the cakes are openly displayed and promoted. The 'ube' cakes are emphasized and promoted. Other items are less promoted but equally good. Favorites: While we like the ube products, my favorite cake is the "Mango Cake". My personal favorite combo is the "Arroz Caldo" with a slice of Mango cake added as dessert. The Soup is infused with shredded chicken, and the carefully packaged piece of Mango topped cake is very very nice. Light and not too sweet. The Halo Halo is deluxe !! Cakes: Whole cakes, now a days are expensive, and becoming harder to find. But you can find them here and pre-order as needed. Some limited 'writing' is possible. Like 'Happy Birthday'. Be careful ordering cakes from red ribbon. I ordered 2 cakes on the 25th and I asked when is the expiration date. The girl said it expires the 30th. When I was about to serve it to my family, my daughter noticed that the cake was all messed up. Then we tried it and it was so dry. I guess they sold us an old cake or damaged cake. If you order from a different bakery I don't think they will sell cake that looks like this. I was just too trusting to think that Red Ribbon wont sell you damaged cakes or cakes that doesnt even pass standards thats why I didn't bother checking it. Lesson learned. read more

I remember the Old Red Ribbon when I was still working in Makati, MM Philippines in the early 90's moist, champagne-like airy cakes. One of the best that I tasted. Red Ribbon Located inside Seafood City on Eastern, stopped in for the Pancit Palabok Combo that comes with a Chicken Empanada and a can of soda drink. The Pancit Palabok is so yummay! I love this dish here, there's a good amount of sauce with boiled egg pieces and crushed pork rinds instead of shrimp which I'm allergic too. The Empanadas are also good, the crust itself is so good. The Chicken Empanadas are the most popular here, today they didn't have any on the shelf because they just put them in to cook. On a lunch break so I opted for the Beef Empanada which is my first time having it, it was good however I prefer the Chicken Empanada. Service was good, Makayla was helpful and kind, I appreciated her customer service. There's much more on the menu, baked goods, cakes, halo halo, etc. The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean with four tables and chairs for dining in. I got 3 arroz caldos (late review this is for last Monday around 5:15pm). Forgot to take pics but it has so many sahog! My aunt who was sick loved it. My cousin and I also liked it. Curiosity caught my attention from this delightful little bakery that is located within the Sea Food Market. It is such a cute little space and the associate was so helpful. The bakery is so very appealing with the pastries all wrapped in such convenient packages. The decor of the bakery itself is wrapped in red and white which is very great since the name of the business is Red Ribbon. This bakery just opened up and is wonderful since after leaving the Seafood check out one can get a bite to eat while on the way home. I purchased the Ube Mamon and it is filled with yam goodness. Who knew that yams could taste so good? The color of the cake is very appealing too. The Ube cake is clad in royal purple and it gets a gold badge for its perfection. It really is a royal treat, plus one is eating veggies too. The choco slice is so moist that it flexes in your hand. This chocolate sponge cake would be excellent with strawberry shortcake. This is such a nostalgic place for me. I've had Red Ribbon food almost my entire life and I always order from them when I am in town either Vegas or in Cali. Today we came to this location since it's close to my family's home and we wanted some delicious lunch. Located inside the Seafood City grocery store is this restaurant on the left. There is no seating unfortunately so we sat in the adjacent seating for the other restaurant...oops. I am such a big fan of their palabok and chicken empanada that I just had to get it again. The Yelp Review Challenge 2021, Review #28 This review is mainly for the empanadas, it's the only thing I've had from this location. I've had a few of their cakes and pastries from their other locations. The empanadas have a thick, sorta crisp shell. It's not hard at all. I usually prefer a thinner shell made with different ingredients but I kinda liked this one. The filling depending on what you get is a bit different. I prefer the chicken over the beef. The texture of the beef in the beef empanadas are different from the chicken, thick and chewy? Different from beef empanadas I've had at other places. Other than that, it was a good experience. With the amount of businesses hurting right now due to the pandemic, I'm not even sure that this establishment wants to stay open in order to offer their goods and services. I say that after todays visit post Seafood City purchase. There are signs on the door that you are required to wear a mask per a "Las Vegas" ordinance, along with a no shopping cart, and no cash accepted rule. I can understand the no shopping cart rule in a crowded limited space business, and when there are no barriers to obtaining the products displayed or even relevant when they have seating in the establishment (which is not available right now.) Picture an empty store with stanchion poles as crowd control barriers, empty flooring, no one inside. The young lady greets me when I walked inside the store, and asked me what I wanted to order. She then tells me I can't have a shopping cart in the store. I asked her if she wants me to leave it outside to where someone can steal my paid for groceries and she tells me, "no" then she proceeded to take my order. She was understanding of the situation and cordial after the question, but, why mention it if there is no inconvenience to anyone? In today's situation where they are attempting to maintain social distancing, what I would do in this business setting is establish a counter where the door is at, and eliminate the entrance into the former dining area, followed by having a card reader at the front to prevent anyone from coming in. This will most likely be my last time giving them my hard earned money as I will look for a more reasonable family owned bakery appreciative of the customer wanting their goods. read more

I was a customer who was verbally attacked by an employee named Yim on Thursday 4/4/2024. Yim followed me out of the store and proceeded to yell at me and call me a "fat bitch" among other vulgar obscenities after I asked her to improve her customer service skills. This altercation happened in front of many other customers, including a cashier at Seafood City. Yim was angry from the moment I entered the store and gave me an attitude by asking her to help me order a roll in the display case. I didn't know how to pronounce the roll's name properly and wanted to point it out. I visit this location regularly and have never had a problem. She ignored me, and another customer helped pronounce the roll's name. While checking out at the register, she slams the items I ordered on the counter and tells me that I should know how to order by coming to the register. I was initially at the register and began explaining why I wanted to point out to her since I couldn't pronounce it. She cut me off and raised her voice, telling me to have a "nice day" in a sarcastic tone, but she yelled it very loudly and smiled ironically. I then said you should work on your customer service skills as I walked out of the store towards Seafood City to meet my husband at the checkout. I was so surprised at how hostile she acted in front of another customer. A few minutes later, she ran up behind me while I was with my husband at the Seafood City cashier, where she got in my face, screaming at me and cursing, and putting her hand in my face. I asked her for the number of a store manager so I could report this incident. She then laughed at my request and said she was the supervisor, and I said I was very surprised to hear this since she was acting like this. I told her to step away from me, and then she called me a fat bitch and turned around to walk back to the bakery. As she walked back to the bakery, she continued to scream vulgarly at me. So they opened this new red ribbon here in the henderson area. They actually just renovated this and it actually looks good. When I came here it was the grand opening so there was a lot of employees and the management was in front of the entrance greeting you. 'Twas nice, but here at red ribbon only 3 cakes you can buy good and thats it mango, ube and brazo. That's it! Do not buy the chocolate cake eeekkkk! Something you must work on red ribbon. The last time I got it, turns out the regular size that they always had was discontinued so the new size is like half the size of the original now. Anyways, the flavor was lacking. A Filipino bakery that sells a variety of cakes and bread. Padesal bread is my favorite and I grab a pack of rolls every time I'm near this location. My best friend and I went because online it said they had happy hour. Once we got there we found out they sadly didn't, but we stayed anyways. We had a WONDERFUL server! I think it was Camille or Camilla I can't exactly remember her name but she was working in the bar area Friday night close to closing. This woman was so kind! She made sure our food came out at a good time, our drinks were refilled before we even got a chance to ask her, she kept checking on us, and was sincerely sorry that we were misled by what we saw online. People nowadays go to their job and think of it as just that, a job. But you can tell that she takes pride in her job and actually cares for people! (and if she doesn't actually care for people she put on one heck of a performance lol ) I really appreciate that!
