And then to top off the visit, the party that was served after me actually was able to receive their order and pay before I was able to. To top it off my order was just a milkshake and the party served after me ordered a scoop and a milkshake. The entire experience had me feeling unwelcomed and not valued. Please avoid unless that is the type of service you wish to receive .

I'd been wanting to try a Korean corn dog for a while, so I was excited to discover this place. I ordered the classic beef corn dog with sauce on the side - I didn't expect the outside to be coated in a layer of sugar. Since the corn dog was made fresh, the sugar coating on the batter reminded me of a freshly made carnival funnel cake, really delicious on its own. Paired with the beef hot dog, it created a nice sweet and savory contrast. Even though I generally prefer a more savory corn dog, I have to admit this was tasty and fun to eat. On my next visit, I tried the same classic corn dog without the sugar and found it a little underwhelming without it. I guess there's a reason they prepare it the way they do. Still good though, and I appreciate that the corn dogs are made to order and always come out hot and crispy. I also tried the malasadas donut which was delicious. It's made with mochi, giving it that chewy texture you get from a mochi donut, unlike other malasadas I've tried. The taro milk tea, on the other hand, wasn't quite up to par for me. I'm not sure if they used powdered milk or if it was the taro powder, but it had a somewhat artificial taste. The boba pearls also lacked flavor. That said, there are many boba shops in town that primarily focus on drinks, so I won't hold it against them since it's not their specialty. It's perfectly fine if you're just looking for something cold and sweet with your meal. Note that the corn dogs are made to order so it may take a little time to prepare, but it's worth the wait. It's also a Hawaiian spot, so island time feels appropriate. All in all, excellent experience - I'll be back and would highly recommend to anyone for a fun treat.

The bread was so dried out that one half of my sandwich was basically a crouton with a job. I have never ordered a sandwich and thought, "Wow... I should have brought a glass of water and a chisel." We ordered DOUBLE MEAT. What arrived looked like they interpreted that as "Please give them approximately 2 ounces of meat... MAYBE." I've seen more meat on a Slim Jim. And the customer service? We walked into the store to pick up our takeout and apparently became invisible. Not a hello. Not a "How are you?" Not even eye contact. Just workers standing there wondering if we had accidentally walked into a closed business. After the first bad experience, we decided to give them another shot. Congratulations. You have officially used up your second chance. Never again. Next time, we'll drive a little farther and go to Firehouse Subs, where apparently they still understand that a sandwich should contain meat, fresh bread, and some basic acknowledgment that customers actually exist. And it was about 2 min later, when Alina emailed me to ask which day I would prefer to come by. Driving up was super easy, there was a lot of parking in the lot. We came to the door and Alina was there talking with some people but she was super quick to ask me if I was picking up. I gave her my name and she had everything ready. It was super quick and easy. The smell in the car on the way to our next stop was amazing! I could not wait to dig into some of this bread! Not only does this bread smell amazing, it looks and tastes that way too. Now that I know about Fred's International Bakery, there is no going back. I know where to get super yummy gorgeous breads now.
