Stopped there for breakfast while on the way to Devil's Tower. It is 9 miles from devils tower and is a pretty easy drive. The whole town is so beautiful and quiet, this restaurant is the same. It is the perfect small town dining experience. The food wasn't fancy or overpriced, but definitely a delicious spread of traditional American breakfast items. This place was great! My husband had the steak tri-tip in a tomato wrap. I had the turkey sandwich in a garlic wrap. They were prepared very generously, warm, and absolutely delicious. The side salads were almost a meal in themselves. The dessert list looked very enticing, but the portions were so generous, we had no room for that. Excellent spot for a great breakfast and small town hospitality. Fairly uncrowded on the 4th of July so we were well attended but something tells me the service would still have been excellent if it was crowded. Coffee was great and our cups were never empty. CFS which is my standard by which I judge a breakfast place. Red Rock does it really well. Not the best I've ever had and on its own prolly only worth 4 stars but the ambiance & service earned them the extra star. My wife loved their French toast, flavorful & moist. Excellent food and service, highly recommended. Based on other recommendations gave Red Rock Cafe a try. Was only 10 miles from Devils Tower. Were waited on almost immediately upon being seated and drinks came within a minute of our order. Wife ordered half order of biscuits and hash browns. Portions were large, she almost could not finish her biscuits. Biscuits melted in your mouth. I ordered breakfast burritos which was great, large portion and very tasty. We had a cheeseburger which was pretty good. I had a turkey bacon cheese melt in sourdough. It was good but it could have been melted longer as the turkey wasn't super warm. I was told by friends that this place had the best burgers in Wyoming! It was a Sunday, had to do a 6 hour drive from Denver, made it my ultimate goal to wake up early and try to get to Red Rock Cafe before they closed at 2pm. Getting into Devils Tower later than expected due to thunderstorms in the area, I started to get sad, we'd get to Red Rock Cafe right as they were about to close according to their Yelp hours. We were so happy to find out the hours were wrong, OPEN PAST 2PM! If you're going to hike Devils Tower or you're looking for a place to stop, I highly suggest Red Rock Cafe. The inside isn't anything special, the waitress was very nice and came to us very quickly. I forgot what kind of burger I got, but it was amazing! Went here for dinner after a long day if driving and visiting Devil's Tower. They were very busy, but were extremely efficient. Very friendly staff. But the food? OMG! Outstanding! Their steak tips are some of the best I have ever had. They are lightly battered and deep fried, which gives a delicate, tasty crust. And super tender. The burgers are phenomenal, too. A nice little restaurant in the town of Hulett. We stopped by this town on our way to the Devil Tower. Even though their menu is quite small, the food was great. I enjoyed the burger I ordered, and the service was great. Our server was very friendly and checked on us a few times. The only thing i didnt like was that no staff was wearing masks, though I understand that masks are not mandatory in the state of wyoming, but couldn't help but feeling a little disappointed. read more

I was recommended from the hotel that this is the best breakfast in the area. I'm actually surprised that this little city has seven restaurants, one of them with a professional chef in it. I was not disappointed. Maybe it was all the hotel breakfasts I've had since I got in the state, but this is one of the best homemade breakfast I've had in a long time. The eggs are fresh and well cooked, the hashbrowns were perfect; crunchy outside soft inside, and the breakfast sandwich I ordered was delicious The only criticism I have is it seems like they were super light on the salt. I know some people are worried about salt in their diet, but there's a difference between salted properly and salted too much. All food needs a little salt to bring the flavor out, It always taste better when it's cooked with salt as opposed to be added at the end, But that's not good enough excuse to take away a star.
