Although this is a small, casual, family-style restaurant, I am giving Red Rock Cafe 5 stars for totally awesome and friendly service, and excellent food. We stopped here late on a Sunday basically because nothing else was open in the small town of Hulett. We were pleasantly surprised to find a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a super sweet and attentive waitress, and very delicious food! My husband got the steak tips, which were surprisingly deep fried and we initially thought that was very strange. But they were very good! Medium on the inside, crispy on the outside. The garlic toast was also quite tasty. I got the homemade chicken and wild rice soup, which was amazing! Seems like they make everything from scratch here! The portions are extremely generous, too. If you're ever in Wyoming to visit Devil's Tower, stop by this little place for a meal, you won't be disappointed. read more

Popped in for a quick lunch. Food was fast and fresh and the service was excellent! I would definitely visit again.

After a long day on the road we checked into the motel and asked for a recommendation for a place to eat. This was the place that was given to us. I had the fish sandwich and my sister had the Swiss and mushroom burger. We were both very happy with our meal. We stopped here en route to Devils Tower and were very pleased with the restaurant. It is clean, spacious and tidy with fantastic service. The food is flavored and grilled to perfection, including perfectly toasted buttery bread. The tater tots are great, and the waffle fries are even better. I highly recommend this place! read more

Stopped in the Red Rock Cafe last night for dinner. Clean, adorable, and nice, friendly staff. Hubby had their prime rib melt, and I had their chicken curry soup with salad. This was our second time in Hulett, (first time was on a Sunday and there is not much open Sunday evenings. That time we ended up eating at the KOA campground..) This time we decided to try the Red Rock Cafe on Main St. and it was awesome! Our server was friendly, outgoing and spot on with timing and service. (Kudos to Cayman, the road Gypsy) I had the Prime Rib Melt on toasted sourdough bread with Sweet Potato fries. My boyfriend had BBQ bacon cheeseburger and home fries. He said it was really good. Mine was fantastic, and the fries were perfect, piping hot, but crunchy outside, tender and sweet inside. They have an assortment of desserts. We were stuffed, so took a slice of homemade Apple Pie and White Chocolate Raspberry cheesecake back to our hotel with us. Highly recommend that if you are in the Devil's Tower area, make it a point to stop here and eat. read more

Thought we would give another restaurant in town a try. Heard good things about this place. I ordered chicken noodle soup and My husband had the walleye. Soup was so salty it was inedible sent it back and got wings. Ordinary and dry. Walleye was not the best. Lots of salt on the topping too. Baked potato was good and the best thing were the green beans. A bit garlicky and tasty. Big disappointment. The waitress was very nice about taking the soup back and that was a plus in their favor read more

Had lunch here today. Very friendly and competent waitress. I had a very fresh and attractively presented chefs salad. My husband had a cup of homemade chicken noodle soup chock full of chicken, vegetables, and noodles with his patty melt. He said both were hot and tasty! Great job! read more

Quite possibly one of my favorite chef salad experiences! I really enjoyed my lunch and would recommend.

How good was the fried shrimp over salad! Yum. The beer batter had just the right zest to it. And the balsamic vinegar gave the salad a punch. Also good was the burger and its attendant fresh vegetables. The onion rings had less impact. A little gem in Hulett. read more

We were deciding between a couple cafes on the same street, but when the cute friendly waitress said she was gonna lasso us in here we decide not to argue. Clean, cute place with great friendly service. Food was fresh and good. I had the chefs salad, Husband had the chicken wrap and daughter had the French dip all was good. read more

Had dinner here after a long day hiking. The chicken noodle soup and buffalo chicken wrap were very good. The house salad was also very fresh and delicious. Our server was attentive and pleasant. Would absolutely stop back in again! read more
