This is a good outpatient surgery center in Vegas. The front desk staff can be a little hit or miss. Some are friendly and others are less so. There is a ton of paperwork to complete. It would be great if they sent it ahead of time. Recently they've switched from paper to an iPad, though, so that's a little better. The quality of care in the surgical area is great, though. The nurses and other clinical staff are great. Of course you'll have your own doctor/surgeon there along with the surgery center's nurses and anesthesiologist. The anesthesiologist is a bit quirky, but he means well. Overall this is a good choice for outpatient surgery in Vegas. read more

First time I ever had to shots given to me in my spine for pain. This visit I was taking care of the lower neck. I was nervous as could be. However, this was the best experience I had and looking forward to coming back to take care of my lower back. The place was very clean and orderly. The staff was as friendly as all medical places are. The people who I've seen complained were probably not friendly to the staff to begin with. Since I was thankful and took everything for what it was it ended up being a great and smooth experience. Chris was in charge of my anesthesia while Jackie was the ones to take my vitals and put the needles needed for the procedure in me. They tried making my nervous less nervous by making jokes which helped. Though some people may think it's rude, but honestly if you're friends with nurses and doctors you'll understand their humor. I would love if they could do my next procedure. My doctor was Dr. Parikh. He is very straight forward and can put anything into terms to make sure you understand. What I liked is before the procedure he took the time to double check if I heard back from another doctor yet about my shoulder. Which showed he remembered me and double checking to make sure I'm getting the best care needed with him or any other doctor since my car accident. I highly recommend coming here. After the nurses kept checking on me and gave me all the water I needed after before my ride was there. Though I did talk a lot after I was grateful to no longer feel pain in my neck. read more

Waited a while to do this review but I can honestly say that I hope to never have to go here for anything.. ever. From not being able to speak with the Anesthesiologist before surgery and never meeting him, to the very poor bedside manner of the male nurse in recovery who was mad because I threw up on the blanket. This place will give you PTSD for sure. Hopefully for the sake of the patients it changed but would not hold out hope. read more

Only giving this review for the RN in the post op care named Jackie. When I had awoken from my procedure today, she was very rough ripped the tape off my hand which lead to ripping the needle from my IV completely off and caused me to bleed. I been here several times and every nurse, office worker, to every dr has been so damn nice and helpful. But this specific RN Jackie didn't need to be there as she was rude and very rough. On top of that, she had someone else's paperwork with mine. BUT I WOULD LOVE TO PUT 5++++ stars for the MA Maria, she is always helpful with any patient before and after our procedures. As well as the first nurse I had in checking in, her name was Jasmine. They as well as all that helped at first with my check in's were very kind and made sure everything was okay on their end. Dr. Parks is a wonderful dr and where he operates should be a reflection of him & they most definitely were besides the RN I posted about in the first column. read more

I have been here on a couple occasions now and the team takes incredible care of you. My favorite is Maria in pre-op, she's buzzing around there like a bee taking care of everything. She helps me with my gown, booties or whatever and sets the IV very easily. Jackie in pre-op is extremely thorough, making sure I understand all of the post op rules to be safe, and she's kind of funny. Agnes in the OR is also very thorough and I feel very comfortable knowing she's around in there. Dr Parikh is always great, easy to talk to. He does his job when I'm asleep so the interaction is more limited. Finally, waking up post anesthesia knowing that Scott and Pam around to take care of me after the procedure is reassuring. They are patient, provide you with warm blankets and keep you comfortable until you're ready and then they wheel you outside. I know this stuff can probably be scary for some people, but this is what healthcare is all about. People taking care of people with empathy and compassion. Great job everyone. read more

If you have a choice, go somewhere else. Unfortunately the quality of service needs to be greatly improved along with customer service overall. When I got there the first time it was a lady up there filling out paperwork on the small area to check in and the two ladies that were at the front instead of asking her to sit down and fill that out they just let her stand there, and I was waiting to check in and another person was waiting to check in so after she was done filling out her paperwork, they continued on with her to get her payment and so on and so forth completely unprofessional , as what they needed to do was to ask her to sit down and fill out her paperwork and let the others check in !Appointments are scheduled by there staff and not sure who's in charge of booking appointments on top of each other as in if you have a 10am appointment you not getting back there for 2-3hours just ridiculous and staff is just none informative as they don't keep you updated. And it's not your doctors staff back there because there on top of things and work quickly as they are very professional. Except if they have to fill in for staff you can tell the difference right off the bat as they are not professional and seem to be lost which is unfortunate because it reflects back on the Doctor. read more

I had the best experience at Red Rock Surgery Center from the management, clerks to nurses to the scrub techs. Brittany, the manager greeted me and I felt so welcome. One of my favorite nurses is Glaucia in the OR, she was so nice. Maria and Pam the MA's were so sweet and helpful. The alllll the Post op nurses are efficient and nice. They will use expired suture. The administrators walk into the back into OR rooms with street clothes. Sterile means nothing them. Do not go! I use to work there. I have pictures, and have turned them over. This place is a joke. Run by kids. Do not go! They don't care it's about a dollar for them. The doctors are great. It's not there fault. Terrible communication and timing. Have to show up 30 mins - 1hr early. Just to wait 3 hours. Never called my person for pickup. Doctors are always backed up. When you arrive on time/early, they specifically state "oh there will be a wait, sit down". Do better with scheduling instead of being money hungry and scheduling as many people as possible and make them wait. Absolute trash. FIND ANYWHERE ELSE!!! LITERALLY ANYWHERE. read more

Absolutely disgusted with the office, especially the office manager and Karla. Interview for a position and was fully qualified for. Never heard anything from them, and I called asking the status of the position only to be told they were still interviewing which was not true. While waiting for my interview the receptionist was extremely rude and nasty to a patient that came in to speak with a nurse about her procedure she had the day prior. Karla came out to speak with the patient (who is not a nurse), she was very rude and short with the patient. The patient asked a few questions that Karla was not able to answer, she finally directed the patient to call the Doctor who preformed the procedure. That staff has absolutely no compassion for patients. I would never go there to be a patient. The unprofessional staff needs to have some serious customer service training. read more

I had surgery here in July. The place was run down. The lady that did my paperwork and took my insurance, was vaping in front of the main doors to the building. I thought that you had to be several feet a way from a medical facility, but I guess not. The nurses were super friendly. This was the first time that I had to walk into the OR. They didn't allow my one family member to come back to wait with me before I went into surgery. I would have felt more comfortable if I was allowed to have a family member back with me. Also, they never told my family member that I was out of surgery. They were good about making sure no one put steri strips and adhesive on me. I'm allergic to both. read more

They were negligent with my property & I haven't even received an apology. They are very unprofessional, as they do not return your phone calls or emails, specifically the administrator, Brittany Roy. Furthermore, you are mistreated, as they rush you out of the center right after being awoken from being under anesthesia. Ask your doctor to perform surgery elsewhere.
