We had a family celebration breakfast. Friendly staff and fabulous specialty coffee. Food was delicious and everyone was happy add full.

There was a long wait for seating. We were not greeted right away but this was understandable with the volume of business they were experiencing. Once seated our server was very sweet and helpful. She did give us a head up that food was taking a little longer and the warning was appreciated. I found it worth the wait as I really enjoyed my food and latte. Would recommend. read more

Absolutely in love with this place! I had been hearing great reviews about Red Rooster & decided that it was time to try, especially since they changed to a much more appealing location. The atmosphere, staff & food were all wonderful! There was a wait for our bigger party but it was well worth it! The staff was extremely friendly and had a wonderful southern charm that is expected for Beaufort. I ordered the Toasted Disco sandwich with homemade chips and it was delicious! My husbands cheeseburger & friends fried green tomato BLT looked amazing as well. They both had great things to say about their orders. Our drinks stayed refilled promptly all throughout our dining experience. The portion sizes are great too! I will be returning to Red Rooster, hopefully sooner rather than later! I hope to go and enjoy their breakfast soon. The breakfast menu looked to die for! read more

I don't know how people are giving this food anything above a one star...Best breakfast! No way...waiter was nice and polite but service was a slow...there note for their biscuits and gravy caught my eye...passed down from generation to generation. Awesome! Not Awesome! It was very watered down with little to no taste...the bacon was nice and hot..but obviously microwaved...I knew this because the plate was too hot to hold on to.home fries were obviously old and microwaved as well because they were dry tasting and mushy...what a disappointment...don't be fooled by the other reviews...while we were there we saw multiple plates getTing sent back to the kitchen...owners need to look at their managers and whoever they call the chef..and if the owners are the managers then do us all a favor and sell the place or at least higher people that know what they are doing... read more

The service has actually gotten worse since they first opened at the new location. The wait staff was friendlier and more attentive with each other rather than their actual tables and the customers. I was extremely disappointed with the Breakfast at Tiffanys French Toast. The description on the menu states a crunchy breading, so in my mind I'm thinking it's dipped in some sort of batter and fried or at least toasted. Upon receiving the order I found out just how wrong I was. The crunchy breading is CORN FLAKES!!! If I had known that it meant cornflakes, I wouldn't have ordered it. Trying to give it a shot, I took a bite and had my concerns validated, as it truly has a horrific combination. The cornflakes have a seriously weird after taste which I couldn't over power with the caramel syrup unfortunately I know for next time with ordering at Red Rooster to ask for a full explanation/description of ANY dish I plan on ordering. read more

This is an alright restaurant. I am not fond of their offerings, but it wasn't horrible. Most people will probably like eating here though.

Bottom line. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the food taste, but there are a few things. 1. Humid-not so much in the men's restroom, the rest of the place...humid. With the humid smell. 2. Wife had the fried green tomato sandwich. Bread was delicious. Sandwich was delicious, why do I know? Because I ate 1/4 of it. I had Mexican breakfast (can't remember the name) and it's actually a breakfast burrito. Good flavor, really enjoyed it. Problem is it's about 5-6 inches. Not enough to sustain my gigantic 5' 7" 175lb frame. You could get two XXL burritos from Taco Bell for the price of this appetizer. 3. We're not from the area and didn't realize that the resturaunt shares a building with another and you can't tell from the parking entrance. Nothing against the food - I've heard it's pretty good. The staff however are incredibly indifferent, if not just outright rude. I understand that in this time, everyone's short staffed and maybe that's the problem but when you're greeted by a hostess who doesn't even say hello, just "how many" even though we said hello and good morning. She just said 20-25 minutes and walked away!!! That's your hostess?? The one who's supposed to at least fake being nice?? There were 5 tables full in the whole place, 2 employees standing at the bar texting and 3 servers for 5 tables. After other customers complained they had been waiting 45 minutes and were given an uncaring "I know sir" response, we left. Food may be fantastic but we will never find out. We stopped at Red Rooster on the way out of town and it was great. First the town is so adorable. I found the Red Rooster on yelp and saw they had hand cut potato chips and I was sold. We got the "nachos" which were hand cut chips with ranch, bacon, and chips and they were amazing!!! I got the gobbler which is a turkey sandwich with Brie, strawberry jam, and mayo with of course more chips. I usually don't finish everything but I crushed it. It's a small it restaurant but the staff are super nice and the food is great. I would highly recommend. read more

Best breakfast around. Hands down. Absolutely amazing. The breakfast at Tiffany's entree was to die for. The bread was fluffy and airy with an outer crisp to it. We drove an hour to eat at the RR to celebrate my Mother's birthday. She was really looking forward to eating here. However, we walk in, there is no hostess and the servers just walk around looking at you. No, "Hello, we'll be with you shortly", instead they just stare and keep going. While we waited we had a lot of time to notice the enormous amount of dust in corners and on fixtures. They need a course in customer service ASAP. read more

The perfect amount of spicy heat on their Rooster Cogburn burger: pepper jack cheese, chipotle sauce, bacon. The burger, however, was over cooked. Loved the crisp homemade chips! Our table enjoyed the Southern Fried Green Tomatoes with roasted red peppers, and melted Brie cheese. They were fried exactly how they should be - crunchy coating, tender green tomato inside. I am a chef and I am very critical of food when I go out to eat. A lot of the time I am disappointed with the food. However, not at this particular Gem!! I was VERY pleased with the food. I had the breakfast bowl with a side of cheese grits and my girlfriend had the Wile E Coyote with home fries. EVERYTHING, was absolutely wonderful. I appreciate great food done right!!! But we don't understand with less than 50% of the restaurant full why it took over 40 minutes to be served breakfast?! Really?
