So, I've been to this place twice in the past 2 months. Never been there prior at all. Chose this restaurant specifically because it's convenient for the person I was meeting. Food and service was fine. The problem was both times the inside of the restaurant was full of flies. It was like eating outdoors. First time I said nothing and just figured a few got in from people opening the door. Yesterday it was same thing. We were swatting flys the whole time. I mentioned it to the waitress and she just shrugged her shoulders. Unless they start providing fly swatters with every meal I'm all done with this place. We've been to Red's multiple times and every time the food and service has been consistent. This time I ordered the chicken pot pie with mashed potatoes. The pot pie was cool-not even warm. I'm not sure why because the rest of my party had hot food. I told my server and she sent it back. I accidentally ran into this restaurant like my mom accidentally did with my father. They've been together for 30 years so sometimes this can be a good thing and holy cow was it. Absolutely amazing pizza, mozzarella sticks, egg Benedict with homemade chicken paddies, and their kielbasa was the best I have ever tasted. THEIR MIMOSAS WERE AWESOME. I do not give 5 stars often. Family type restaurant on sea coast with really good food. My wife had delicious baked haddock. My plate was meatloaf, wasn't my favorite, but that was all me. Accompanying mashed potatoes and butternut squash were devoured. I will go back just for the mash, enjoyed it that much. For appetizers we had meatballs, which were three very big balls with cheese and marinara. It also had 3 pieces of spicy garlic bread which was different and very tasty. Been only a few times but we (wife and I have always had excellent service and food during the early afternoon hours. Despite the parking lot looking Iike the place is jammed, an open table was always available. I like breakfast at 1 o'clock but my wife prefers lunch, so Red's is perfect because it offers the full selection of breakfast and lunch dishes all day. The menu is very wide-ranging, and daily specials were intriguing. I especially like that the place is not loud -- due to the tiered and partitioned layout, I suppose. Only blip occurred once when the missus's salmon on a salad was undercooked. Huge fish portion but almost raw in the center. My wife mentioned it to the waitress, saying she just wanted her to be aware so she could tell the kitchen and she could eat the part around the edges that was OK. Within a minute, the manager arrived with profuse apologies, took the dish off the ticket, and made certain we were happy. We are definitely not complainers and were impressed with the quick and sincere attention to the issue. I especially recommend the avocado toast that comes with eggs and homefries. I believe virtually all of the food is scratch-made. Greek specialties are excellent. This is our new go-to choice for Saturday lunch. read more

All were good. Pizza was good. Cinnamon French toast was good. Lots of food on plate. Up in Hampton we tried many mid level restaurants and probably best burger in area. Give it a try. Greg is the manager and Doreen was our waitress. I even liked the cappuccino. Our second time her was great again. Waitress Felicia and two managers George and Greg were outstanding.
