Red's was a solid experience but based on the reviews here as well as my girlfriends experience, I'd say they need to fix their filet burger. It was tasteless and just not what you expect based on the menu description. That being said, I got the mammoth burger and it was very fun and incredibly tasty. However it is HUGE, the bun was bigger than my hand, I put in my best effort and cleared 2/3 of it. Our waitress was super kind and the apple crisp was a delicious way to end the meal. read more

Stopped last night for the Prime Rib special. Sat at bar ordered a glass of wine while looking at the menu. The special Prime Rib came in 2 sizes with mashed potatoes and green beans. I asked the bartender if the mashed were garlic mashed and she asked someone and the answer was yes. Don't care for garlic. So I ordered smaller medium rare rib with French fries and green beans to go and an app to enjoy with my wine. The to go prime rib came out before my appetizer! I would have ordered another glass of wine but I packed up my appetizer when it came out and paid my bill. I was horrified when I opened the package at home! The thin slice of meat was mostly fat-I know Prime Rib is a very fatty piece of meat but it was in a container with green beans swimming in garlic! No au jus but a container of sour cream?? I called the restaurant to let them know of the problems- I would like to know if a customer was unhappy. The hostess got the manager Lexi on the phone who said it was my fault for not telling the bartender that I was allergic to garlic- I am not allergic I just don't like it and avoid it when possible. I knew enough to ask about the potatoes because a lot of places serve them that way but never thought about green beans swimming in garlic! Please see photos. The rib was $28 -waste of money and time. There are way too many good restaurants to enjoy and where the management will listen to you! It's obviously not fair to critique the service in a restaurant too harshly during a pandemic, but I do need to point out that our poor waitress was running herself ragged AND the service was slow. The food was great, however. We ordered three different pizzas and they were all fantastic. The pepperoni, sausage and meatballs they use are large and delicious. The crust was crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside... just perfect. Once the plague is over, this place will be a great game day lunch destination. read more

Besides the food being great the service was the best we've had since we got married and we're on a short vacation in Hampton. Our bartender was by far the most accommodating friendliest and has an amazing personality. We are so glad we found this amazing spot and we'll just come back just to see Jack the bartender. Hello, I just wanted to say that I really enjoy the food at this restaurant. However, I was out with a dear friend who is in her late 70s. As we were conversing back-and-forth, we found ourselves talking loud because the music was so loud. We couldn't hear each other speaking. I couldn't believe how loud the music was in the restaurant area, also the kind of music was playing while we were supposed to have elittle talk about business but at the same time a nice meal and a nice atmosphere as we are, both worked all day. read more

We've been to Red's in Seabrook several times since it opened. For the most part, we've had a good experience. Yesterday we went there for lunch. I ordered their cheeseburger club. Delicious! Crisp fries. My wife ordered the margarita pizza. We're both a fan of margarita pizzas. When the pizza arrived, it was topped with either balsamic vinegar or balsamic glaze. It was tasty, but ruined the pizza. Their dough is terrific, and the toppings are good. If I order another one, I'll order it without the balsamic topping. read more

Great server. She was pleasant, checked on us with out being annoying. I got the broiled seafood platter. Amazing dish! However the piece of haddock was small, delicious, but small size. The entire dish was not generous but delicious. My son had fried chicken dinner which he said was very good and a decent portion. the server ignored my request/question about a water pitcher due to the amount of water I drink. when I specifically asked for my burger to be medium rare "as pink as they can make it" it came to the table full grey. Thought we'd try this place last night as we had to do some shopping in the area. I would not recommend. Not worth the price. I mean it was mediocre at best- like an Applebees, except they charge you as if they were a really good restaurant. My drink was terrible. I got a 12 dollar raspberry juice. (Supposed to be a cocktail with raspberry vodka) I should have given it back, but I hate being that person. And they never asked how everything was or checked in anyway. We got haddock bites and steak tips. They were ehh- nothing to rave about. And our bill was $80 for 2 drinks and entrees. My husband just got a beer. That seems crazy to me. We had a fantastic meal Saturday May 6. The outdoor patio was open and the night was perfect for it. My wife ordered a meatball and ricotta pizza and I had the broiled seafood pie. We did take out tonight and it was disgusting. We ordered two Hawaiian bowls, a steak bowl and a burger and everything was a disappointment. The broccoli in the Hawaiian bowl had turned. The steak in the steak bowl was leathery, and the burger was tough and too much for anyone-even Tammy Slater! I have the distinct impression that if they don't have to face the customer over take out, they'll scrape the dog's dinner into a container and send it to you with receipt of your credit card number. read more

Have been several times and almost always pleased. Went last night with a party of 7. I had the village special which is amazing. Several had bowls which they enjoyed. Three had Mac and cheese that looked like pasta in cheese soup which was disappointing and surprising that neither the cooks or waitstaff stopped from being served. read more

Typically my family and I agree on this location but ordered Seafood Broil last Saturday evening and it was a few small shrimp and an anemic piece of white fish. Service was good, so I pointed it out nicely to the waitress that the meal was subpar. Not much of a response, didn't alert the manager or offer to replace it with something else. I've been to reds a few times for lunch and it's just ok, but after today will probably not be returning. We arrived at 1235, waitress didn't even come to the table til 12:43. If it was busy I totally understand but we were one of maybe 5 tables in the whole place. We were in a bit of a rush and ordered right when she got to the table. Chicken wings and soup. By 110 we finally got our food. During this time she crawled into our booth to get sugar for another table. While we were sitting there. I asked for the check immediately and saw that the check start time was stated at the top. She didn't put our food in until closer to 1. 12:57 to be exact. Almost 15 min after our order was placed. I would like to say that I have never had a bad meal or poor service. The reason I am waiting a review now is because I called to make reservations for 9. I was told that they do take reservations but I had to speak to the manager and I would get a call shortly. The night has passed without a call back so I called for a second time and was told the sane thing. It was day 3 which is closer to the reservation date I was looking for so I called again and the girl who answered told me that would be a problem and asked me too hold. I was holding for about 6 or 8 minutes and Jerry answered the phone and said hi this is Jerry can I help you? I said this is my third attempt to make reservations with this restaurant I just want to know do you or don't you take reservations? He raised his voice and said he wasn't going to be spoken to like that. I said like what? He was rambling on so I hung up. He called back and said we were disconnected and I said no I won't be spoken to like that. I'm not interested anymore. He said that's great. I hope the owner sees this so they know who they are putting in charge of what I thought was an excellent quality restaurant. read more

I subtracted 1 star due to noise. I subtracted another star as there were flies everywhere and I subtracted another star when the food arrive and was warm, not hot. By the time I was halfway through my haddock and fries, both were cold. My companion had the chicken parm and while his chicken was hot, the pasta and sauce was warm at best. We're always looking for new places to try. I thought of Red's Kitchen and Tavern in Seabrook, NH. looked like a nice place to go. I liked the idea we had the choice to mask up or not. The place looked nice and clean. I ordered the Baked Haddock and a side salad, with a Pepsi, the start off for 2 people they give you 3 hot rolls, (only 3) . My Pepsi even though it had some bubbles in it it sure tasted flat. My Garden Salad looked great but they forgot to cut the salad up. They give you all the fixings for a Garden Salad in a small bowl, but forgot to give you the cutting board to chop up your salad. I was not pleased. Chopping up my own Salad it went all over the table. The Dinner was presentable and looked really good. NOT, The Green Beans were cooked in a butter and garlic sauce, but could not taste either and some were over cooked. My Haddock was a little overcooked and the Sauce they added had a bitter taste. I will say however the potatoes were plenty and good. My Partner had the Broiled Seafood Platter, Wings and a Sprite. He was not satisfied either. For a man that likes to eat for the price there was not enough. The Presentation looked nice, but not enough to feed a teenage man. He was not happy with his dinner and the same Sauce that they used on the Baked Haddock was the same in his dinner. We usually would have given some places a 2nd chance but this time we will not be back. When you pay good money for food you thought would be really good. It's not worth it. The Waitress was pleasant and attentive. I would like to tell them that they surely need to lock down their booths. Every time the man in the booth attached to our booth got up my booth seat would slide away on the floor with me still sitting in it. It may be good as a sports bar for snacks and drinkers, but not for families that are willing to pay good money for a good meal. Nice atmosphere, we waited 20 minutes to be seated on a Friday night, not bad. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. By the time our app was done we were out of drinks. The waiter did not come back, two other people delivered our food. they put it on the table and left before we could ask for a drink. My chicken pie tasted fine; however, it was barely Lukewarm. My wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich, my daughter found the fish tacos to be lacking any taste. The waiter finally came back to bring the bill, however he charged full price for a half price App. He did change the bill. We ate our entire meal and left without anything to drink including water for the entire main course and was never asked if we needed anything. On the way out there were 3 people at the hostess station talking and laughing, not one said thank you for coming or even acknowledged us leaving. I would say extreme lack of management skills and or employee training. I like reds in Peabody for breakfast, but it will be a while before we try Seabrook again. read more

first off I called in a simple order of two pizzas for pickup. I told them what I wanted. First off the incompetent hostess said my name wrong. I get their to pick up my order they gave me one pizza and an order of meatloaf. I did not order meatloaf. The manager referred to me as hon. I am not your hon buddy. I have a name. Use it. The manager did take care of the mixup partially but I will not ever go back. They need to hire staff whom can do the job correctly and not talk down to patrons.
