Another pierogi place! In Columbus! That's the one big gap in our very diverse and high-quality…read morefood scene. We've always needed more Eastern European food. There have been a few Polish and Russian places over the years, and Hubert's and Pierogi Mountain have stuck around and are local treasures, but there's just not enough. I was very excited when I heard about this place. And it's at the ghost kitchen on Essex, along with a dozen other places, so it's handy for me on the way to work. They have some interesting items in addition to pierogi and kielbasa and sauerkraut. They have pierogi "skillets," which have stuff piled on top of pierogi. It's a good idea, and they look tasty, but I either was not hungry enough or I'm just a purist so I did not get them this time. Not sure if there will be a next time, because their ordering system royally sucks. You order directly from their website, which gives them more money, which is a good thing. But it's still flipdoor or Grubdash or whatever the heck ordering system they use, and it forces you to give them a card to save, which I do not like at all. And then it does not give you a pickup time. You just wait and then they say "prepping," and then "oh, it's ready." Well, I need to have an estimated time, or be able to set a time. I'm not ordering from the parking lot and sitting there for an hour. It took me ten minutes to get there after I got the "ready" text. By the time I got them they were barely warm. They include sour cream and grilled onions, so don't pay extra for them (I didn't realize some were included so I ended up with extra.) I don't know where they get their pierogi from; they don't mention making them in-house so I assume they are outsourced. They're pretty good but also pretty standard. I got the smoked mozz. 5 for $10. Also got kielbasa, cut up and sided with mustard. Also good. Not amazing. It's nice to have more options, but we already have a couple of great ones, and I will not be back till they change this ordering system.

We tried the chicken bacon ranch and the jalapeño popper. They arrived warm and were loaded with toppings. The chicken bacon ranch had just the right combination of chicken and ranch and the same was true for the jalapeños. So tasty! They were 5 pierogies in each skillet and were so filling we even had enough left over for the next day! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We ordered the couple's platter and added a cheese toast and potato pancakes. We received our cabbage rolls and were blown away with the taste as its a fusion of Asian spices and a Ukrainian flair, excellent especially adding the sour cream as its lite and the cabbage is tender and delicious. Then came our cheese toast then pierogies and cheese roll. We had the potato and cheese and the saurkraut with fresh bacon chips sprinkled on top and the cheese roll along with the potato pancakes. With pierogies were amazing especially the saurkraut with their dill sour cream. The potato pancakes were a hit, made fresh and having the applesauce on top made the plate even more spectacular. The cheese roll was different and had a smokey taste that was amazing. We ordered a cheesecake slice, chocolate cake slice and a macaroon for dessert, the serving sizes are nice as well as the price. We will definitely return to try more of their menu. The cook whom I believe is the husband was amazed at our positive comments. I highly recommend this place and give them a 5 star review and praise. Give them some support and visit here.

You order your food at the counter. There are a lot of combo type meals, but you can also get most items a la carte as well. We were greeted warmly by the staff and they were ready and willing to answer any questions we had. I opted for the borscht and pietogi. My husband ordered the stuffed peppers. Mine came with a roll and side of sour cream. His came with the pepper, cheese bread and mashed potatoes. When your food is ready, they bring it out to your table. We both loved our food. I hadn't had borscht in years and their version didn't disappoint. It was packed with flavor and veggies. the potatoes in it were just the right texture. We tried sauerkraut and potato and cheese pierogi. They were smaller than a lot of the Polish pierogi I've had, but they tasted great and were cooked perfectly. It was a wonderful and delicious dinner experience. Definitely a place we'd come back to next time we're in the area.
