The restaurant is set inside an old train car, which is just really cool and different. The hamburgers are always spot on -- juicy and full of flavor -- and I can't pass up the Reuben. It's perfectly toasted with plenty of meat and just tastes great every single time. The service is consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes the stop even better. It's become a tradition for us, and it never disappoints. If you're anywhere near Brownwood, it's definitely worth pulling off the road for.

Lemme tell ya... they still got it!! Everything I tried was delicious. We loved it so much we visited twice in the same weekend. The steakhouse is known for their salad bar and their unique croutons, both all you can eat. The croutons are something I've only ever had there. They're crispy and so flavorful and so different from your normal square crouton. You have to try them. While we were there we had steak, chicken fried steak, baked potatoes, jalapeño poppers... you seriously can't go wrong. The jalapeno poppers were a new menu item but they might have been my favorite(other than the croutons). The ribeyes were on special when we visited and they were great, good size, great flavor, and cooked perfectly. Honestly every dish we ordered was fantastic and now I'm looking for an excuse to head out to Brownwood again! As much as I enjoyed the food, the staff was even better. The server was attentive and gave us our drinks quickly and food was out pretty fast too. I got the hamburger but everything was super fresh. They were hapy to serve it without the bun and I really liked the aoli. The fries were string style but were cooked perfectly. The decor was nice and the atmosphere calm like it should be. They also have a gelato shop next door. Maybe next time I will get the creme brule. They have a lot of options for food and you're sure to find something great. Parking is on the street.
