HOLY COW!! I don't live in the area, so maybe this is normal, but the prices are CRAZY! 15-30.00 for used jeans? Is this a consignment or thrift? Even a bunch of shirts and jackets were like comparable to ebay or consignment prices. Just wow! I spotted a few things that were a certain color and left them. I came back the following week and some SHOULD have been on sale, but they now had different color tags? That is super shady! I can tell you that next time I'm out there, I will NOT give them my business. Oh, and if you want to charge 30.00 for a shirt and stick a security tag in a shirt, DON'T PUT it in the actual shirt material! Good grief! read more

Good stuff; High Prices; Hostile Environment/workers This thrift store is about 50/50 on the prices. The stock is great but many of the good pieces are priced from $20-45. Clearly the store is pricing as if it were a consignment shop rather than a thrift store. In addition, there are no available changing rooms and the women's restroom is out of order. Lastly, the employees are a bit standoffish toward the shoppers as the workers are constantly restocking misplaced clothing and reaching around shoppers to do it. Seemed like a bit of a hostile shopping environment and it just made me feel unsafe while I shopped. read more

I love a good thrift store. How did I not know this one existed? I have been a couple of time now looking for fabric for a project I am working on and also for some kitchen items. I see the other reviews about it being too expensive but everything I bought was very reasonably priced. This store is pretty clean compared to other thrift stores and clothing is organized by color. My OCD brain appreciates that immensely. They had a good selection of housewares, clothes, toys, linens (also well organized), kitchen stuff, DVDs, books etc.. They have discounts for different items most days of the week (they are posted but I can't remember.) I wish it was a bit closer to me, but I'll be back when I'm making the thrift store rounds! read more

It might have been the previous owner but this is the skeeziest thrift store I've ever been to. First off it's a for profit store so if you are dumb enough to give your things to someone and have them sell it and make a bunch of money off of free merchandise, then maybe you'll like this place. Second if you like to get ripped off and have your money stolen, this place is for you. I found something I liked even though I felt bad about buying a donated item where the proceeds go to someone's kids college fund. I proceeded to check out with my debit card - no problem. Then like an hour later I went to get gas in my car and lo and behold my card gets declined. Whelp, I must have put my card in a skimmer cause all my money was gone. Called the bank and they said someone knew my PIN code and wouldn't give me my money back. So a crappy $30 boombox from 1998 needed up costing me like $700. All so a thrift store owner can get free stuff and sell it at like 10000% markup over free and send their kids to private school in London and some shady employee can get my $700 and buy gift cards at a king Soopers in Aurora so they can buy a new tv at Walmart and get some Taco Bell. If you like that to happen to you, then this place is right up your alley! read more

The worst is the people standing there all day and going off the racks immediately. There are 2 guys there and they push and run to them and are just god awful and ruin the store experience. They need to kick them out as over the microphone it says no picking off the racks. These guys have no right to be there every day doing this. This store is full of Thrifting items however they are marked by color and not size so you have to look through everything to find your size. They have high-end items that they think are real placed behind the counter like a Gucci bag for $235.that is an absolute horrible fake if somebody paid $235 for that Gucci bag it would be highway robbery and it's criminal. They don't speak good English and their prices are quite high for the goods that you're getting. It's a shame when thrift stores charge $12 for a five dollar pair of pants. Kind of a bummer. I saw quite a few negative reviews, but wanted to experience this place for myself. I loved this place. I'm rather used to Arc and their organization by size, but I found digging through the racks here so satisfying and seeing things that are not my size that I tried for shits and giggles that worked! I didn't bug the employees as the announcement said and smiled and thanked them, and they were all courteous to me. The cashier was kind too. I found some incredible pieces here for great prices. They know what things are of value, so if you think everything is going to be $5, you will be disappointed. I'll be coming back over and over, and will be bringing my friends here too. I brought a girlfriend of mine from California and she loved it as well. And I knew it was cash only, so I was not surprised about it. This store has recently taken over the Mile High Thrift store that I shopped at for many many years now. I also told so many people about it and they all shopped there. That is until the Red White and Blue store took over. It's all changed now. I've gone in every day of the week to try to figure out when the bargains can be found. There's not many now as I'm not about to pay $29 for a pair of used athletic shoes or $24 for a used jacket. It's definitely taken a downward turn and some days there's very little stock to be found. There's also fewer shoppers. All my friends now shop elsewhere and soon I'll follow. After doing some research, this seems to be a retail thrift store meaning that it's for profit and the profits do not go to the Vets like it used to. It's sad to see how this store that once was the best in Denver, now become such a disappointment. Large selection, that is very organized by gender, type of item, and color. However sizes all mixed in together. There are no dressing rooms. Wear your tight leggings by sand try stuff on in the aisle. Sort of a weird way to shop, but I can't just go by size or looking at it. Different percentages off each day for different color tags. This can save you even more on most modestly priced items. There were long lines to check out. Most cashiers are bilingual. read more

I was shopping for some clothes that I needed for an interview. (They always the nicest things) but the item I got (tie) was located in the back behind 2000 other ties. I pulled them slowly off and got to the one I wanted and the tag fell off!!!! I thought dang I know their policy concerning tags that aren't attached!!!! I went to check out and they immediately noticed it wasn't attached!!!! I told them the story and that I had a job interview this week and desperately needed that tie!!! Of course they were skeptical and rightfully so. However by explaining my situation they let me have it. I want to say thank you to Luis and manager Crystal. They reminded me of the rule and after this time it couldn't happen. I agreed and thanked them profusely. It goes to show you there are kind people in this world!!!! I coming to the store with my service dog I was in the store for an hour and I with my service dog he is clear mark with a service jacket best I have ID of my dog and he's a service dog and I got all the documentation for my dog. And I just got kicked out out of the store because the manager asked me what kind of service my dog do for me I refuse to answer for the privacy of my medical condition. OK, went there first time, now I call it my official favorite thrift store :D The good: organized, big selection, usually not as crowded as goodwill, has a bathroom The bad: no dressing room, less kitchen stuff than goodwill, cash only, no return. I asked the lady checking me out if there was any authentication for this because the price was so high. She said no. Then i opened up the bags and started looking at all the detailing and the feel of fabrics. FAKE. I told her they were fake and she didn't say anything and just put them back on the wall. The store is huge and has a wide variety of items however, the clothing is organized by color instead of size so prepare to spend hours looking through the sections. There is no fitting room and you're not allowed to try on in the one bathroom they have- they do have two small mirrors to try on things that can go over your clothes, but they were very busy the whole time. Additionally, I stood in line for 30 minutes to check out. Some things are thrift store prices while other things like "nicer brands", bags, appliances are pricer than I would like to spend at a thrift store. Lastly, there are no exchanges or returns which especially sucks since there's no dressing room. Honestly one of the most irritating thrifting experiences I've had. The store is smaller than the one in Northglenn and the prices are high. They wouldn't have to run 75% off if things weren't at retail prices. I should of taken pictures of the blouses I found for $40 in a thrift store!!!!!! I have been wanting to go here for ages, after reading some of the reviews for it on Yelp years ago. All the same, I figured that the reviews were probably too good to be true-- one-off, one-time finds, never to be seen again. And then I walked out with - A newer 6 qt Crockpot - A "Little Dipper" crockpot (with the plastic covering still on the cord, never used) - A Coach purse - Sam Edelman heels (never worn, retail $100+) - Canon PowerShot SD1200 - Miscellaneous kitchenware, including a mug shaped like a cow udder For $50!!!! I couldn't believe it. I've been talking about this place for the past 2 days straight. It's definitely the type of place that requires you to do some digging (they organize things by color rather than size), but you will likely be rewarded for it. I can't wait to go back! I've shopped here about 10 times now, wanting to like it because you can find a few good items here and there, BUT the customer service sucks majorly. The employees don't follow social distancing despite it being announced over and over again on the speakers. The store is always jammed packed with people on top of each other again, despite announcing "you will be asked to leave the store if you're not following CDC guidelines" every 10 min. They DO NOT follow CDC guidelines themselves. This place is a hot mess. I love thrifting and have been to all of the thrift locations in Denver and this place is by far the worst. So this thrift store always has the biggest selection no matter what day I go here. For absolutely everything. The store itself is pretty big, however it is always packed. That can be overwhelming. Another thing that kept me from giving it the best rating is the fact there's no dressing rooms, nor do they offer exchanges or returns... I think there should be one or the other because if you aren't careful enough you get stuck with something you thought you liked and it didn't end up fitting like you wanted. Which brings me to the next thing. When I go here I always try to dress in leggings and a tank top so I can semi try stuff on over my clothes in the store... major drawback for sure. Oh and the prices sometimes are way high on used stuff but a lot of the time I find good deals... I think! Lol Another thing people may not like but I actually like is that things are organized by color/ patterns /types versus size. (Yellow, pinks, etc... blazers with blazers, long dresses with long dresses, patterned near other patterns) I think it makes it easier to find exact colors you're looking for. There's always huge selections of guy suits and ladies suits. There's always a purse I want to buy I'm not huge on buying used shoes unless they're sandals or heels and again that selection is nice.. Man, this store used to be a frequent destination as a child. I have many fond memories of going here with my grandma and finding a wide array of treasures at a reasonable price. I decided to drop in recently and found a painting I loved, it was a little pricey $35 but I had to have it. I made the mistake of grabbing a couple shirts and didn't look at the tags because I didn't think it'd be a huge deal. I spent a whopping $125, and I was too distracted to see what it was in my cart that was so expensive. I had a purchased a plain black crop top with no tag or identifiable brand for $12. All I have to say is, be careful and pay attention! Some things are not priced reasonably at all. There should be no reason a plain shirt should ever be more than $6, unless it's cashmere, silk or wool. I will be back but I will also be cautious next time. Hopefully this review will help improve the experience of other customers, and management will be more focused on making items affordable as they should be at a thrift store.
