Speaking of nice, the shop was well organized, clean, the items I looked at were priced right and tagged appropriately too. Too many "thrift shops" refuse to accept things. They have dressing rooms here, compared to goodwill that does not. One thing that I do not like though is that all sales are final. And they have an area with accessories from Claire's. Shoes and handbags, electronics, furniture, housewares, decor. So many area to look through. The restroom was clean and there are fitting rooms. I like that. It's hard to buy clothes when you can't try things on. The associate was not as attentive - I stood waiting to be rung up and was ignored. Then mumbling so I couldn't hear him. Goodwill associates are perkier. It's not that convenient a location so I'm not sure I'll frequent this place. But it helped while away my time. Parking lot striping is hard to see so you park as best you can. Private lot.

I had a shopping cart was immediately scolded by a worker who told me not to use the shopping cart in the aisle because I would be knocking all the clothes off to keep my cart along the out perimeter. I not to talk to me in that manner that I am adult. He proceeded to continue being confrontational told me I won't get far in life with that attitude. I have never experience such a RUDE employee any where I have ever shopped. I had not even been in the store 10 minutes. I left shortly after as it had become an uncomfortable experience at a that point. I asked who he was and he was the manager of the store. What a leader. I have been going to going to goodwill for years for both donations and buying. I will never go back to any goodwill after that salty experience.

And the owner was so sweet and she makes some awesome wooden flowers and denim purses and aprons that are so cool. It's so well organized and, far and away, my new favorite thrift store. Furniture is average quality, but you may find a treasure. Some good quality blankets, some handmade. Biggest issue with the store is that it didn't seem to have a changing room for trying the clothes on, and the parking lot was incredibly dangerous... almost got backed into by several people as I made my way out.

You can't beat those prices at a thrift store! They also have a good mix of non clothing items and they have a good amount of pet items, most of which were new! Donations are able to be dropped off on Wednesdays. There are a lot of high quality name brand items. This is a great way to recycle. Reduce waste and support food security, in Golden. Today I scored two like new brooks brothers wool sweaters for $40 and a stack of paper plates for a dollar! I highly recommend shopping, supporting, donating & volunteering at the CAG. It's also a great place to pick up odds and ends for the kitchen.
