Went in today to find a new pair of work boots. I had it narrowed down to two different boot styles. One was in stock at the store in my size, the other one was not in stock. So I'd say the inventory might need to be adjusted to accommodate all. Mike Young at this location was extremely unprofessional and completely out of line. I went into the store on September 8, 2025, around 4:50 PM and witnessed Mike Young assisting another customer with purchasing a pair of King Toe boots. While he was praising the product and claiming he had never seen a bad pair, I politely shared that I had recently experienced a warranty issue with King Toe boots that developed problems in less than six months. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Mike became visibly angry and confrontational, completely losing his temper in front of customers. Later, he even pulled me aside and asked, "How would you feel if you were selling boots?" I am a customer, not a salesman, and I believe in honesty and transparency, especially when people are spending their hard-earned money. It is completely unacceptable for an employee to act this way just because a customer shares a truthful experience. This behavior created a hostile and uncomfortable environment and reflects very poorly on the store and the Red Wing brand. I strongly urge management and corporate to review the security footage and take immediate action to ensure this does not happen to anyone else. I will not be returning to this location and I recommend others think twice before shopping here. read more

Went to this location with my husband for some boots and that was fine but the Hispanic lady salesperson was talking about how her husband was an MS13 member. At one point i Thought she was trying to assert some kind of dominance over me and it made me very uncomfortable. read more

One must go to several boot giants to fully appreciate the difference. I went to two of them. No knowledge sales help, none, in those big box boot giants, none at all. Before I gave up my boot search, I searched RED WING on my phone. What a difference in the feel! Jasmin took time with me. She showed me several boots but not a fit, yet. She suggested the Irish Setter, and it fit! Folks, there's little to no difference in the price of Red Wing and the big boxy boot barns. I wasted four hours trying to get a pair of boots all over OKC. Red Wing fit my bill quickly and at the same price! Thanks Jasmin for your help! read more

Good boots, but they do not always fully honor the warranty. After years of going here, sadly I won't be going back.

firstly the boots are awesome but! service is ok until there's a warrant issue, they were very reluctant to honor the factory defect warranty with the first issue. I was calm and polite the entire time. after finding the same exact issue with the second pair ( I wore them a few weeks to be sure) the man helping me became very rude and aggressive towards me, he very aggressively walked up to me, stood over me as I tried on another pair in a threatening manner and told me it was my legs that were messed up not the shoes even though the same exact issue had occurred. he refused to listen to me or let me talk. the other employee helping was visibly uncomfortable with him and his attitude but did not stop him. I went to another local store and they were very familiar with the poor quality of service at the other store and helped me with my issues. Met with a friendly associate as soon as I entered the sales floor. Mike was the associate who helped me. I've had difficulty with my feet for some time now and I've decided to buy a new pair of boots. Mike went through a process to size my feet, go over with me the type of boots that I like. In what environment my new boots would be subject to, and what type of arch my feet have with is none haha. I feel like Mike went up to bat for me to get a good pair of boots that fit my needs, not his. I will definitely return, good conversation as well! Started getting some crazy back pain from my generic boots I was wearing to work. Once I finally deduced it to my boots I called this store. I told Michael (I hope I spelled that right) about my problem and he did something no other shoe place has done for me and that was to come in and actually measure my foot. He told me I was wearing the wrong size along with a lot of other useful information and advice. I bought a pair of boots with his recommendation and my back pain was gone that afternoon. I dealt with it for two weeks. Couldn't walk, couldn't move, couldn't even lay down. All fixed. Michael was very professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic to my situation. A trait that's rare these days. Thanks for getting my life back to normal. He deserves a raise. read more

If I could give this store a worse rating than one star, I absolutely would. Initially a man named Shane(sp?) helped me w/ a manufacturer defect in a boot. Told me it wouldn't be a problem, that he was familiar with this issue and would gladly order the replacement. He'd even call and let me know when it had arrived. Very courteous, very helpful and knowledgeable. After about a week I started calling and couldn't get more than "I don't know it should have been here" as a response. EVENTUALLY someone called. I Walk in and ask for Shane and a less than stellar employee named Danny threw out "he quit" before acting annoyed as he pulled up my order. As he saw it was a return he took one look at the boot and said we can't do that return. I started to explain how Shane and I had discussed this particular issue, before he interrupted and said "Shane doesn't work here, I'll have to call the owner to get that approved." So not only am I waiting around for 2+ weeks but I gotta take 2 trips out of my way to come handle something you think would be routine. THEN the joy of mtg the owner.. JESUS. Listening to her babble about how it must be my construction work( I work in an indoor warehouse) all the excuses and reasons my shoe stitching made me nauseous. Rather than help, I got accusations and a curt rebuke. Rather than assistance she pawned me with a phone number to CS and told me to call another branch. Do not come here. Give your money to a company that appreciates their customers and stands by their product. read more
