Great cables at a good price but the worst customer service in the world. Never replies to emails or voicemails and when you finally get ahold of someone, they are rude and annoyed by your phone call and questions. These guys really know what they are doing and their prices are awesome. I own a recording studio called District Sound Lab outside Washington, DC and i have gotten every single audio cable from these guys. Chris and Marc are always super helpful and friendly when i speak to them. I have purchased a TT DB25 patch bay from them, and they helped me set it up over the phone and figure out exactly what i need for it.. Including the grounding and normalling which i was completely new to and can be very confusing at first. Then i had them custom make me all the DB25 cables i needed, which there were a ton of.. some to XLR, others to TRS, etc. The cable quality is amazing and it is so much cheaper than buying pre made cables at Sweetwater, etc. I have also had them make me custom length TRS and XLR cables, and i was able to pick what kind of connectors i want (i chose gold), what kind of cable (i picked Mogami for these) and exactly what length... and the price was half what i have paid in the past from other places. I really cannot recommend them enough.. I see some guy wrote a review saying Dave was rude. People have bad days sometimes! That doesn't mean that this isn't an incredibly reliable place to get high quality cables and great advice from. I call these dudes for advice when i am not buying anything but just need help, and they have never been rude to me... Just super helpful. I am going to continue purchasing all my patchbays, cables and other audio accessories from these guys as long as they and i are both in business... Highly recommended!!! read more

I've ordered from them several times in the past without issue, this last time the delivery was lost and I contacted them after about ten days. They didn't seem too interested in being proactive about solving the issue at the time, and after a month I had to contact them to just give me a refund. I understand the lost delivery isn't their fault but they just didn't seem to care one way or the other about dealing with it, I won't be purchasing from them again. read more

I ordered 2 cables to my specification and they were just kinda ok as they didn't bother to put some heat shrink at the cables where they exit the plugs which really is standard in my book. I also did not get a reply to my email asking about that. Disappointing. read more

Redco charged me $35 for a simple cable and $14 for shipping it to Tampa, and I paid it because I Needed the cable as quickly as possible. I ordered it on Dec 31st, 2016. When I FINALLY received the e-mail saying that they are Just NOW Shipping it on Jan 23rd!!!!! there are some "Companies" who have No Business in the market. As an HR Director and managing a multi-million dollar private security company, if I learned anything in the Master's program it was that the market weeds out the failures. I am in Florida or I would go to the address listed, to give them this review in person. Whoever these guys are that call themselves a "Company", gives a bad name to actual companies!!! read more

I ordered a custom SPDIF (digital coax) cable to use with my desktop PC audio setup to connect a USB to SPDIF converter to a DAC. The cable was built exactly to my specifications and the whole process took less than 10 days from ordering to sitting in my mailbox. It sounds clean and crystal clear in my setup just like any quality SPDIF cable should. I spoke with Dave at Redco and the guy seemed annoyed and irritated by my call. Not very polite or helpful. He asked very few questions about my patch bay/cabling project and told me to write an email. In a world where very few human interactions are necessary in purchasing something, GOOD customer service is valued even more. This was NOT good costumer service at all, hence the 1 star. Redco fabricated all of the cabling & custom panels/racks for our recording studio. The price was lower than I anticipated, and the delivery was on-time. I'm still installing, but I haven't found any errors yet, and the panels they made are beautiful & precise. Chris Stubbs thought of some problems that I hadn't yet visualized since I was working off a spreadsheet. The whole process was remarkably smooth, especially considering how confusing it is to create these spreadsheets in the first place. read more

Simply put, customer service is below average with Redco Audio. I purchased a XLR plate through them and had some basic questions about installation and got laughed at which was condescending and disrespectful. I was looking for professional advise on how to address my situation and Dave, the sales rep, was huffing, puffing and laughing throughout our conversation.
