We were craving some energy for the road and one last visit to a local coffee spot seemed like a good idea. I wasn't sure if there was an interior portion but we passed through the drive-thru on our visit. The baristas here were so sweet and friendly. We grabbed a couple of lattes and I had had the Salty Dog with salted caramel. It's much sweeter than my usual coffee routine but I was treating myself. It was delicious! My wife and I love getting espresso drinks here, Caffé D'arte is an excellent roaster. You can count on a great tasting drink when you come here. Only one time have we had a little mix up but the service here is also excellent so they quickly made it right. Our favorite signature drink is the salty dog, we highly recommend it. Great place to stop for some coffee on our way back towards I-5. Very happy with the friendly barista and excellent quality coffees. Although my sister and I had ordered standard lattes, the signature drink names were really cute. Red dog, White dog, Spotted dog, Salty dog.... very clever. During my trip to Seattle we stopped by Reddog Coffee on our way to the Olympic National Forest, and on our way back. I'm not a big coffee drinker but I went with my usual hot apple cider (I think it had a different name on the menu). It turned out just as I expected, hot, full of apple cider and not overly sugared like they make at a global coffee chain from Seattle. Our group of 4 people all ordered different drinks and we all ended up happy. Our hosts for the trip make sure to stop by Reddog whenever they are in the area. Coffee and menu were filled with some different choices. They cannot tell you what is in their specialty spritzers. But the SERVICE was absolutely terrible. Well I was definitely in need of caffeine and took a random exit and there to my left was this place. A local gem it appears conveniently located right off the highway, which I like. I pull around and was kindly greeted , but considering I'm just passing thru I wasn't ready. She didn't mind and just directed me to pull up to the menu. I get to the menu and it doesn't have your typical , which was a good thing. That meant I was definitely trying something with a different twist, but it made it somewhat hard to decide. I chose "Monkey Business" .......consisted of caramelized banana, mocha and homemade whip cream. I could be missing something but those were the main ingredients. I must say I didn't go wrong .........the banana was definitely very evident but in a bold balanced way if that makes sense. I also had the coffee cake that I didn't quite finish because I was too into my coffee. I'll just say if you're ever headed that way and see that name try them out. We saw the sign saying hurricane coffee on the highway but instead we found Reddog coffee. ( new name) They were awesome! It's about the only place to stop for coffee between Port Townsend and Neah Bay. They had a great variety of beverages and cute names for all... And the staff is super friendly! I visited this coffee shop today and I was extremely disappointed. I had been there once before and it was terrible, but my daughters convinced me to give them another try. Their special of the day was a 20 ounce peppermint mocha, so I thought I would try that. We ordered three drinks and that must have been overwhelming for the barista because she messed up my drink. It was the third one ordered. She handed me a 12 ounce peppermint mocha, and when I told her that I had ordered a 20 ounce, she informed me that I was incorrect. Customer service is apparently not important to them. Following that, she told me I would have to pay her another $1.30 to get the larger size. I asked her for a receipt so that I could see what she had already charged me. I had ordered a 20 ounce iced coffee, a 12 ounce blended mocha and my "special" drink. It cost $17.03 already. I discovered she had charged me $4.40 already for a $3.95 special. I asked her to just give me money back, because she had already charged me more than the drink should have cost, but she refused. So, I left there having overpaid for the wrong drink and having a horrible experience with someone who completely lacks the ability to work in customer service. In addition to that, my peppermint mocha didn't actually have any coffee in it! SO she didn't even make the wrong order correctly! There are a dozen coffee shops in this area. All filled with baristas who will get your order correct, charge you the correct price, and the coffee will not be the price of a new car. Choose one of them....any one of them. read more

On our way through Sequim, we stopped here for drinks, I went with a Huckleberry Shake with real Ice Cream- and that was VERY good! Looks like they have it the Red Huckleberry variety. Do not let the car line deter you! This team is amazing at getting your orders and getting the drinks ready when you arrive at the window. I LOVE THIS! Not your regular drive through! On a long road trip around the peninsula last week, I had the pleasure of finding this little stand. The baristas were so friendly and totally genuine. One can tell when it's just polite or good customer service and when it's the real deal personality of the person and these ladies were the real deal. Charge you $1 for a packet of honey or "squirt". When asked if there was a mistake on the price of my coffee, they said the honey syrup was more expensive than regular flavors. LMAO! Not even real honey. You might want to ask if certain syrup flavors are more expensive. Either way, I wonder how much they charge for sugar or cream because when asked for a sleeve for the coffee, the excuse was that it's barely hot enough anyway. Of course! It tasted like it sat in the pot all night. If you like bitter old women to start your day off by peeing on your leg and telling you it's raining, this is the place for you. Reddog always shocked me since we already had so many places to get coffee in the area. The thing Reddog has going for it is location. It is right off the main exit to town, and it is a great stop before you hop on 101. If you are doing drive thru, keep your eyes pealed for the entrance since it is a bit hidden on a residential street. The staff is always on point, and their large drinks are really big! Great for the long ride to the ferry! I've not tried their baked goods yet, but plan to do so next time I stop in. Good job Reddog! read more

This place is cute, especially the patio, and the employees were very helpful/friendly. But I have to say that my plain ol' latte did not taste all that great. There was not enough foam and the espresso tasted meh. It was maybe 3/4 as good as Starbucks and I don't love Starbucks all that much - that's why I'm trying the local place right? Maybe I just caught them on an off day. I might try them again to enjoy that patio on a nice day, but if coffee #2 isn't better then I give up. read more

There are better options in town with more reasonable prices and better quality. They have a couple of breakfast pastries but nothing fresh like the other places in town. The coffee isn't that good either. Ordered a breve latte and I'm pretty sure the milk wasn't correct type. Tore up my card. (I've seen those wasps the other reviewer was referring to lingering around me too). Won't be back. Will be putting reviews in on the other places that are better in town now. read more

I'm so thrilled that I stopped by here for coffee. I had planned to just get my coffee at the drive thru but when I saw the delightful patio I just had to take advantage of it. The coffee is superb. They offer cold brew which I truly enjoy since I like my coffee strong (insert joke here) and cold brew is strong but not bitter. The staff are very friendly and of course with a name like Reddog, they gave my dog a treat. If I didn't live so far away this would be my go to coffee place. If you live in Sequim, you're so lucky. Hands down, the best coffee in Sequim. They have weekly specials that they come up with... I have discovered so many new favorite latte flavors because of those specials. Every single girl who works here is wonderful and knows how to make a shot of espresso. Which, seriously, major bonus because there's nothing more annoying than finding a place with good coffee one day, but motor oil the next, because it's a different barista. Stopped by on our way to Seattle from Port Angeles in the early morning. When we arrived there were a few cars in front of us but Reddog moved very quickly. Also had a guy come out to take orders from the cars to move things along more efficiently. Well done on that. Ordered an Americano with white chocolate in it and a chai latte. Didn't really love either drink, but I think it's more just personal preference than anything else. With the great location and great service, we'd definitely come back again and try some other drinks. read more

ASK WHAT COFFEE THEY ARE SERVING IF YOU CARE. Don't let the pictures fool you they DON'T serve Tully's Coffee anymore as I found out this morning, even though a sign by the patio area says " We Proudly Serve Tully's Coffee". After taking a picture of their signt heir "Manager" came running out to my car to see what I was doing. I pointed out that their sign still said Tully's Coffee to which she replied "I can see where that could misleading" and giggled. After trying to explain the term false advertising to her I asked if they told the customers they no longer served Tully's she said only if they ask. The manager also said that customers had put their shop on the Yelp website and they had nothing to do with it that's why it still showed Tully's cups on it. There was no way I was going to try and education her on this impossibility. I explained it was not the fact that they no longer had the coffee I like but the laughing and snotty remark I was given after canceling my order (before they even started it). She said yes that was kinda rude, I'm sorry. As I have no other recourse since she refused to give me the owner's name, the shop is not a member of the Chamber and we have no BBB in Sequin. read more
