Great place and convenient for all the local workforce. They have almond milk. Two shots in a 12 oz ceramic mug was nice and strong. Wonderful crema and hot like i like it. Now about the owners. Two of the nicest people ever. Their joy on the inside shines brightly outward. While we were sitting there after receiving out drinks, hand delivered by the way, one of them brought a small paper saucer with 3 chocolate chip cookies as a gift. Then, as we were leaving she hands us a 16 oz plastic cup...roasted on site... full of fresh roasted beans free of charge. After reading so many great reviews, I skipped my regular coffee and headed over to check this place out since its close to where I live. Easy to find, super friendly staff and the coffee was smooth, great tasting, not bitter and strong just the way I like it, only thing was my 20oz drink was over $6 when at my usual coffee place the same drink is $4.47 but in a 24oz, they don't use enough of the flavored syrups to even out with the coffee flavor, I had to add sweetener, I understand this place is locally owned so prices will be higher, this place just won't be my everyday go to coffee place, maybe a good place to meet up with a friend to catch up over coffee. read more

In little Everett WA, Jason at the RedDoor Coffee Roaster makes the best cup of espresso and the best latte in the world. Somehow, the combination of his brewing technique and the roasting of his own beans makes the perfect crema. His staff is very friendly (Sunny, et al). And the cafe is a pleasant place to work for an hour on your laptop. There is really no food to speak of. Some pastries that are imported fresh from the Essential Baking Company in Wallingford are good, but this is not the place for a meal. read more

I'm just in town for a little while unfortunately, but I looked this place up and wanted to try it. I was picking up some coffee for family and the owner was there by himself. He was incredibly warm and friendly and couldn't have been more helpful! I was ordering something I was pretty unfamiliar with, just trying to follow directions, and I asked him about the amount of cream and he went ahead and made a second one for me just in case it wasn't right. The coffees were delicious (lattes and iced doppio). The shop itself was quiet and seemed like a good place to work or just chill out. If I lived here, I'd be there all the time. The coffees were delicious (espresso wasn't bitter, as is pretty popular around here it seems), microfoam nice and smooth with a cute latte art heart on my hot latte, but also the service and kindness of the owner was 12/10 and I'd honestly go back just to support that. Please note I am a supporter of independent coffee shops and enjoy a cup of hand crafted coffee. I will often drive miles to look for independent cafes. This is the second time I have stopped at RedDoor coffee. Both times I asked for a 12 oz Americano. The first time I went there they only put one shot of espresso into the cup making for a weak cup of coffee. (Note most places put two shots into a 12 oz Americano). This time I asked for a second shot. The shot was pulled in about 10 seconds, making the Americano weak. read more

I work in an industrial park area where options for coffee are less than few and far between. I just can't drink corporate brew. A number of folks here drive 3-5 miles out of their way for the closest Starbucks-- mostly for the convenience and that fast food "know what you're going to get" consistency. Since starting my job in this area, I've been watching the empty space and drive-up near my workplace, hoping ANY coffee joint would appear. As luck would have it, Red Door hung up their "Grand Opening" banner this week and in I went. Red Door is located in a strip mall full of food options with a dry cleaning and nail salon here and there. They have a drive-up window, but I opted to go in for my first visit. The place is very spacious, with calming music and seating areas. Definitely quiet since they are just opened, but I'm thinking this will change soon once word gets out that they have very good coffee. The gal who took my order was very nice. I ordered a 16 oz mocha. I usually don't order mochas because often they can be too sweet, but it's my go-to drink when trying a new coffee place. Much like ordering clam chowder at a seafood restaurant-- it's a basic and if they can do that right, the rest of the menu should be good. Well, Red Door passed my taste test with flying colors. My mocha was perfectly smooth, chocolately without overpowering the coffee. They also offer scones, croissants and other bakery goods at reasonable prices ($2 each) which is on par or less with other coffee joints. I look forward to walking over there when the weather gets nicer to get an iced coffee. There are a lot of corporate headquarters in this area-- I hope they discover Red Door and help support this local coffee business. read more

Where I work is just up the hill from here, so I watched with excitement as the "Coming Soon" signs went up here. I'm an avowed lover of Starbucks, but I also love a convenient place to get a coffee, so I was more than willing to give these guys a try. One day after work, a coworker and I stopped by to give it a go. I ordered an iced mocha, and it was fine. Not good, not bad, but fine. The coffee itself was good, and it's nice to see actual roasting equipment at a place that claims to be a coffee roaster. The mocha was obviously a powder, and I'm not usually a fan. It seems to always be a bit gritty, and this was no exception. The interior decor is welcoming and comfortable. There are tables of all sizes, with bar-style seating for one person and tables for larger groups. They also have some large comfy chairs, which is a must for me (I am almost always reading when I get coffee). I'm happy to have a new, local option in the work neighborhood, and with all the businesses nearby I think they'll do OK. I fully plan on stopping by again in the future. read more

Your pup is allowed inside. Want to know why? Because they don't make food inside. RedDoor is exactly what I was looking for and I plan on patroning this place as often as I can because I have a dog with separation anxiety and because they were so dang friendly. But most importantly .. they give me coffee. My usual options for indoor hang-outs with the pup is home depot or lowes. Don't get me wrong .. there is a place and time for home improvement stores but for enjoying a cup of coffee or sitting down to work? I think RedDoor definitely fits the bill much better. This is the best freshly roasted coffee around! It is a very pleasant place for working on your computer, thinking things over, meeting with other people for work or pleasure. They have a lovely selection of pastries. The owner, Jason, is delightful and hard working. He roasts beans everyday with a spiffy red machine, right there in the restaurant. You can also buy the roasted gems freshly packed to take home, like my husband did. He drinks decaf and Jason had just finished roasting some. So good! This place is a short distance away from my daughter's gymnastics camp at LEGA and I stopped by because I had some rare quiet moments without kids. I'm a former barista and one of the first things I do when I go to a new coffee shop is ask for a recommendation. "What's popular here?" I've found that it can be a revealing question. Sometimes you'll find something about the products that you may not know, or that they're really good at making a certain kind of drink, or they have a speciality drink that's unique to them. I asked this question yesterday and they were happy to answer me. The response was "vanilla latte in the PM and mocha in the AM." It was AM so I chose a mocha. I was a wee bit concerned because they only offer rice milk as a non cow's milk non-soy alternative. I find rice milk to be kind of watery and easily overpowered in some coffee drinks. I'm not sure what they did here but my rice milk mocha was amazing. Balanced, strong, flavorful, not overly sweet, perfect shots. So good man, so good. When I told them it was my first time they offered my daughter a cookie, but then brought her two. She's surely a fan now! Today I had a toasted marshmallow latte with rice milk and it was also good (although the mocha was better). Even better when this place is near home and work. This is my go to place for coffee and redbull Italian soda. After coming here a few times asking for huckleberry flavoring--he suggest getting that flavor for me. Also the cheese bagel is soooo good and even better when warmed up of course. Not to mention, I'm a sucker for banana bread..and would always get one each time I come here. Can we talk about how amazing the coffee beans are? Premium espresso drink preparation using slightly over-roasted (to my taste) coffee. Really neat atmosphere here, and super-friendly (Korean?) staff. Christian rock/pop playing mellow on store speakers. Loved seeing the roasting machine on full display in the middle of the shop. Maybe they should host roasting events for those who like to see and smell the action? Maybe even sell bags of beans? The staff volunteered to split the large hot chocolate I ordered for my kids, which was a very nice gesture. My wife enjoyed her soy latte. My mocha was perfectly prepared, but I thought the coffee was just a bit over-roasted (we generally prefer light roasts). Perhaps they should offer a few different types of roast? I had seen Red Door Coffee before while visiting some local businesses. I hadn't been there until I recently moved to the area - less than a mile away now. First visit was probably in April and I've been there probably 2 dozen times now, so I thought it was about time I did a review. So here's my thoughts on Red Door Coffee Roasters.... Location: Convenient for me because it's so close. I'm sure they get alot of traffic from the local businesses. Parking is usually good. Sometimes you might have to park further away (during lunchtime with the many restaurants in the same parking lot). Staff/Owner: Friendly people. I assume the gentleman working during my visits is the owner. Everyone has always greeted me upon entering and said 'have a nice day' when I leave. Barista skills seem on par with a coffeeshop. Nice ~After my second or third visit, they knew my drink. Ambiance: It's a nice looking place. Always seems clean & organized. Plenty of tables for visiting or trying to get some work done. Coffee: Honestly, I've never been a fan of roasting on site. I believe there is an art and science to roasting beans that is better left to professional roasters. That being said, the coffee here is good. Nice flavor, not bitter/over roasted. I usually get a mocha. I don't like it too sweet, so I originally ordered it with less chocolate.
