Sing us a song.... Went to Kalahari with a friend for the TPS annual meeting. After a long day, we decided to go to Redd's Piano Bar and Lounge for a drink and to enjoy some music. So much fun! Ordered a drink at the bar. They have mocktails that are not on the menu, so you have to ask. The hibiscus mocktail was so delicious and a deal at $4. My friend enjoyed her "grownup" hibiscus cocktail, too. So much fun to sing rounds of Piano Man, Sweet Caroline and Shout, that we came back the next day after another day of conferencing and closing down the adults only, Grotto Swim Bar, at the waterpark. Lose Yourself, the first time I've ever heard/sang a rap song at a piano bar. A great place to unwind after a long day of learning at Kalahari. Thanks for the music and the complimentary round of hibiscus mocktails on day 2. Can't wait to go back next year. read more

Um...pianos and fancy cocktails?? Yes please! We arrived around 7:30 on a Friday hoping it wouldn't be too crowded since their piano show started at 8pm, but lucky for us there was hardly anyone in the lounge yet. We got to pick our seats and order drinks quickly. I started with the espresso martini - yum - and ended with the Marshmallow-tini - double yum. I wish I had a pic of the marshmallow cocktail. It was so cute with two roasted marshmallows on top. They both were quite sweet- perfect for an after dinner treat. My friends ordered the maple bacon old fashioned and wow- it was SO good. Definitely the best cocktail we tried there that night. A small glitch was one reorder of the cocktail had a bit too much bacon grease get in it somehow so we sent it back and they quickly made us a fresh one. Nice attentive service and the piano singer was fun to watch. He would play recommendations from the audience with a tip. I could see this being a good date night or an evening out with friends. read more

I enjoy going to the piano bar when I'm visiting Kalahari. The entrance a "hidden" door behind a bookshelf that is closed when closed, and open when open. It's a nice place to have adult time after a full day of water fun the kids. Decent drink and cocktail selection, and I recently found out you can order snacks (i.e., fries) from Double Cut. Service is a hit or miss. Usually more crowded towards the end of the week. read more

The bartenders are so awesome! The issue is that the piano players are hit and miss. We have been there when there was a woman that engaged and was more talented. Totally wish I could post videos. We had a ball here. Drinks are top notch, services are also top notch and the pianist from Tennessee she was phenomenal. She knew how to cater to the diverse crowd, playing music from all genres. A total time warp. lol! You go in and before you know it, you done shut the bar down. Usually when the male pianist is on this is a 10 star review but today the lady wasn't fully piano ish! I felt too much back ground music and she talks toooooo much. Too many jokes but this isn't a comedian show, I guess once you have heard the best it's hard to compare everyone to him. I suggest he plays on weekends because we just live him and he is the reason foe the three stars. He plays solo with no back ground music just instruments he has in his body, he plays the harmonica and does not Charge $20 to play piano man as this lady does. He accepted tip to play it and it was wonderful. Call before you come over and ask who is playing!!! You won't regret the male pianist show. He is the best! 8-14-21. read more

Is this a comedy club or a piano bar? Cause I couldn't stop laughing at how bad the piano player was! We went there on a Thursday night so maybe the weekend talent is better? Our bartender was great and the drinks were as expensive as expected, but I can't get over just how bad the entertainment was. They'd be better off doing karaoke night. read more

My new favorite date night! Redd's is so much fun! Incredible ambiance - love the piano and red theme throughout the lounge and bar, and of course it's tucked right into Kalahari by the steakhouse so the ambiance throughout that whole giant themed resort just adds to the wow factor. The servers, bartenders and all of the staff are friendly and really make celebrating a special event extra memorable. All three performers I have heard there were very talented and most were pretty funny too- playing song requests and ad libbing and interacting with the crowd. Rachel was on piano last night and she was so entertaining and had a whole little thing going about certain groups in the crowd- she had us all laughing, dancing and singing along. I love their custom cocktails and their alcohol selection is expansive. My favorite cocktail there is the espresso martini- perfect combo of caffeine and alcohol to keep me energized past my 10 pm bedtime - so smooth and delicious. I'm a fan! read more

We took our kids on a Wednesday...website says open until 2am daily....we showed up after dinner. Put our kids in the room (ages 11-17). And the bar was closing at 11:30. Stayed at Kalahari and there was a long wait for the restaurant next door. So stopped in the Piano Bar and didn't want to leave. The singer was great playing all types of music. We didn't want to leave so we came back after dinner. Drinks were great, was surprised this place existed. Definitely a great date night place or a night out with friends. read more

Fun. I've been a couple times, I enjoy sitting at the piano. No cover but tipping is expected and drinks are pricey but what I'd expect. Everything is priced because it's a resort. I'm a local. I like this one better than downtown RR. read more

Had the BEST time at Redd's last weekend. I want to comment on Ronnie's review below. I was the person that gave the piano lady the $20 cause she DID SUCH AN AMAZING JOB! She had played piano man with such style and engaged the audience so much, that I tipped her $20. My friend is a master pianist and she was even impressed. It is not easy to keep a crowd engaged, and this woman did it nonstop. I've personally been to piano bars in NY, CA and FL, and I have never seen anyone get the crowd so engaged with so much enthusiasm. Bravo to Redd's for finding such great talent. read more

We went there for a convention for the food show! So happy we ended our night here. Erika, the bartender was amazing and drinks were on point! Thomas, the piano man, was by far an amazing! I've had multiple positive experiences here. But most recently, my fiancé experienced some severe racism here. What sucks is that we are GREAT tippers. We are huge supporters of the service industry. Random piece of advice, Request original songs that you think of, DO NOT search for popular piano bar songs on google! I have gone to Redd's several times. I am a local and my first experience was so much fun. Not only have we gone there on date nights but we've been on two different occasions when staying there. We have always had so much fun with the performers and other patrons. For the most part the staff have always been really great as well. Last weekend I went with two friends who had never been before. After we ordered a drink we sat down. A server brought us our drink and later came to see if we needed another round. Knowing we would be done with our first by the time they brought the second we said ye. And we were. We finished our second drink and nobody was coming back so we went to the bar to order a drink and close out. The server refused to serve me, saying I was cut off because I was slurring (I have braces, ever had adult braces, hellllooo lisp!) My friends couldn't get a drink either simply because they were with me. Meanwhile, a man falls off his barstool and breaks a glass. I still couldn't get my tab and someone I was with had to go up and get it. Oh, and don't let me forget the fact that when we went downstairs to the "lobby bar" those bartenders refused to serve the others I was with "because they were with that lady", that lady being me. Someone in Redd's took the time to CALL down there and tell them to to serve me. Due to the shitty experience and the poor treatment, I didn't leave a tip. My tab was $43 and some change. Welp, yesterday when the charge came through on my account it was for $73. Exactly $30 more than the total. That server STOLE from me. I have been over there one time demanding they make it right and all I've had is excuses about IT issues. Not only will we likely not be back, but neither will the two (local) people who had their first experience. read more

What a joke. This is false advertising. They say they'll be open til 2:00am but they really close at 12:00. Don't they realize if you're coming here you are let your kids enjoy the day and then when you get them up to the room the adults want to go unwind for a few minutes at least. When the restaurants at Kalahari can't get you fed until 11:00 what are you supposed to do after you finally get the check. This whole place is managed terribly. This is the worst experience I have had at a place like this. Back to Great Wolf it is!!! Oh, and the bar tender who couldn't look up from texting at Redd's was the worst! read more
