Do no recommend. $45 for a blowout.. literally insane. I've never paid more than $35 for a blowout (anywhere) and everyone I've talked to since said the same.. they've never paid more than $30-35 for a blowout. It wasn't a good blowout either. I put my hair in a ponytail right after. Mind blown at their prices. They've increased them and didn't mention anything before my appointment. I also had to run to my car to grab cash for tip and the receptionist asked THREE times where the tip was. I've never felt more uncomfortable in my life. After growing my hair out during the quarantine, I was eager to try a new style and very excited for a new look. Avoiding the typical $10 cuts I used to go for with shorter hair, I was guided and referred to Redhouse. The salon was very clean and everyone was pleasant and friendly. My stylist took time to listen to me as I explained what I like about my longer hair and what I'd like the new style to incorporate. I went in thinking I was going to have a great experience, instead... - 30 second shampoo, no conditioner - in and out haircut - 30 minutes including brows - sideburns were evened out, but not groomed around the ears - After the cut, walked straight to the register... Ok, I go in clearly explaining that I'm looking for guidance, a new look, gave parameters how long I'd like it to take to do my hair and how to do it... so walk straight to the register, no wipe down, no product, no styling... - face, hair, shirt all COVERED in hair The experience was so far below my expectations that the only reason there are any stars is because of how kind everyone was. read more

Her coloring skills simply cannot be beat, and she always gives me amazing cuts, even when I decide to do something really drastic. I hate to say this but I received the worst haircut of my entire life. When I attempted to contact the salon to see what my options were, no one bothered to get back to me. I have super thick hair that, unless layered, is very bottom heavy. I look like Bozo......there are no layers. I now have to spend over $50 to go elsewhere to get it cut correctly. I feel the salon should refund the cost, minus the $10 tip. I did ask if the stylist was a master (experienced) and was assured. Never again. I have been a client at Redhouse for years. Let me just say Wow!! The salon has changed ownership to one of their longtime lead stylist Stacey Finley. The salon has undergone a fantastic transformation! Stacey has been doing my hair for years and I always look and feel like a million bucks when I walk out of the salon. I seasonally switch between light blond and darker blond, but this year I went with a deep red. I have gotten so many compliments; much more than any other color change!! She is always on trend with cut and color. Redhouse is using a new product line. I love it. I have never experienced such a transformation with one shampoo. By the way, Brie does a great shampoo and blow out. I had called the Monday before Thanksgiving thinking I would not be able to get in until after Thanksgiving. They found some time and squeezed me in before the holiday! I really appreciated they accommodated me even though I wasn't thinking ahead before the holiday. So let me sum it up, Redhouse is undergoning a fantastic transformation. The salon has a beautiful new look (sorry I didn't take photos, but you need to check it out in person). I went in today. Letting them know I am trying to go LIGHTER. They do the opposite and make my hair darker when majority of my hair was pretty light and now it's a dark brown. I will definitely not be back. The manager or owner told me since I had a red tint in it it would go darker. Which made no sense considering my hair was already light. read more

I decided to give this salon a try because it looks like a nice salon and is close to my home. Bad idea. I got the worst haircut I ever. I was so unhappy, I had to go somewhere else and get it fixed. It wasn't a cheap cut either, it was $50 without tip for something that looks like my 8 year old cut. I called the manager the next day and left a message about how unhappy I was, but never received a call back. Stay far far away! read more

I recently purchased a Groupon to try this place out. It's a beautiful salon, with typical somewhat friendly front desk staff. They were awesome about accommodating me into their schedule. I was scheduled with a very friendly stylist (will be unnamed). However, (this is why the lack of rating comes), after showing her numerous photos of what I was looking for, the style was not met. I feel like all she did was follow the lines of the last cut I had, where I was going for something different. Maybe other stylists there are great, but I wasn't impressed. And after finding out she would have charged me $65 for a cut and style, that definitely convinced me I would not be returning. My quest continues... read more

Redhouse really isn't much of a stranger to me, I've been before...years and years ago when they were Salon Moulin Rouge...and many of the stylists I know from school, and home...I even ran into an old school chum there...Hi Suzy ;-) I was itchin again...itchin for some change....so before I took the scissors in hand to "chop chop" ... I searched Groupon (gag, I know...I know) for a deal! I saw Redhouse had one....and they were open on a Monday...I called. All booked. Shoot! Tomorrow? Yes.. with Jill. Who's Jill? How long has she been doing hair? Um....she's the owner, like 20 years... Okay (sigh of relief) book it! I didn't even buy the Groupon, I would rather have the salon get the whole commission... I am seriously maniacal these days when it comes to my hair, and ten times I thought of canceling....but change is what I wanted, so I stuck it out. Livin on the edge!! Woohoo.. Okay then...Wow...I am old...anyway ..I digress... I know what I want, I know the lingo, I don't let stylists bully me, so I told Jill my story...aaaand what I have, is nothing short of excellence! I'm VERY happy with my result, and Jill was completely personable, as well as the other gals working, and I would love to return!! I think I will! When you research the salon, their website lists all of the credentials for each stylist...and I like this... I purchased a groupon for $50 a haircut, style and single color process normally worth at least $100 or more. I did look up salon ahead of time I choose Stephanie based on her profile and I loved her red hair! I was thinking of going red so I thought was good to go to her. My appt. time was 5pm I was greeted my desk politely, Stephanie came out to greet me and let me know she would be with me shortly. I was taken back around 510pm so not bad at all.. loved how honest she was about choosing color. So I didn't want a double process since I'm growing out my hair don't want to damage. So we went with a more settle approach. Brown with red tones but stands out. Love the trim its perfectly even I have very curly hair and she understood how to cut so no razers or layers! Perfect blow out with a flat iron to just smooth but not needed if I didn't want. Was perfect with blow out. She's awesome funny and knows her way around hair. read more

I had asked for an ashy brown color and a trim to clean up my ends. What I received was hair that is not quite ashy, but still has red/warm tones. Fortunately I didn't have to pay full price (Groupon), but I will not be returning to this salon. The color isn't terrible, just not what I had truly expected. Also, the cut was done nicely, though my ends still have a lot of split ends (isn't the point of a haircut to get rid of them?). But I have to say that the cut was smooth, transitioned well and looked "salon" quality. Nice and clean salon. But the stylists should try to be a little more professional. As I walked in, stylists (not the one that worked on me) just glared up and down at me. At least the receptionist was nice. read more

For the sake of your eyebrows and hair, do NOT come to this place!!!! The people that work there are the most incompetent people I've ever dealt with. Wanted to get my haircut and eyebrows waxed before a trip to Mexico where I'm going to be a bridesmaid. Just moved to the area so went on yelp and looked for a salon with good review, that's when I found Redhouse salon. Went there on Saturday morning, my appointment was at 8 am and didn't go back until 8:15. The haircut started out great, then when the hairstylist started giving me a bang, she was acting like she's never did bangs before!!! Very unsure on how to even start! She kept asking the other women how to do it!!! I was fine with it because everyone needs to learn, right? As long as she didn't completely cut off my hair. I also had an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed with another lady. She had another appointment so she wanted to do the waxing before my haircut was finished. Again, I was fine with it, no big deal. She proceeded to wax my eyebrows, even commented that I have a great shape to my eyebrows. After the wax, she started putting a liner and mascara on my left eyebrow. I knew something was wrong because, they usually don't do that! They also offer and handheld mirror so you can look at your eyebrows. Without saying anything, she let me go back to finish my haircut. I went and looked at a mirror and that's when I noticed that she removed so much of my eyebrows where almost half of the brow is gone!!! I immediately asked for the manager or owner which they proceeded to tell me that she wasn't going to be in that day. Then I went to talk to the lady that ruined my eyebrow and I asked her, why she wouldn't say anything?!?!?! And just cover it up?!?!?! She said she was going to say something after My haircut was fine. Really????? I don't think so, I think if I didn't say anything, she would have let me go home and discover that half of my brow was gone at home!!!! How dare you ruin my eyebrows, try to cover it up and not say anything??? What type of business can have people like that work there??? Such horrible experience!!! Do NOT go to this place! VERY DISAPPOINTED: When I made my appointment and mentioned that I would be using a groupon, the receptionist was pretty negative and told me that only two stylists would accept the groupon, because they worked a independent contractors. I went to the appointment and in checking out, I was hit with a surprise additional charge for an extra $25.00 for "extra services." . (The groupon cost was only $49.00.) This practice seems like a real bait and switch. If the salon didn't want to accept groupons, they shouldn't have enrolled in the program. I felt very manipulated and deceived. read more

Love love love this salon! Today was my first time going there, and Monika was my stylist. I went in for a cut and color and my only request was to come out looking different while keeping my long length. Monika totally succeeded, and I feel so beautiful. I LOVE THIS SALON and every one of the stylists (I go to all different ones, they are all highly trained). I don't understand the one previous review that they aren't friendly ... they are all friendly, talkative, stylish and welcoming. That had to be one moment in time or a distorted point of view. I have been coming here for 10 years now and I always get compliments on my cut and color. They have a great point system that rewards you if you buy products, and an incentive to purchase services in advance and get a credit to your account. avoid this place like the plague! i thought i made it clear to the stylist that i want layers in the front and througout my hair as my hair is very curly and a bob would not suit me and what do i get is a bob and color is off as well, the base color is black and highlights have a orange tinge to them. i spoke to the owner who took almost an hour to return my call as i wanted them to fix my hair or receive a refund. this pompous idiot tried to turn it around and say that i was probably never happy with any other stylists in the past and it's just me that is the issue. how dare he put this on me when in reality my hair sucks royal!! are u kidding?? i paid over $100 bucks and i feel like shit right now! and to u idiot, this is the 3rd place ive been to in my life so i am not a constant complainer! read more
