We already had enough going on, so this convenience was VERY appreciated. After a quick yelp search, Buckeye State Storage popped up. I noticed they were literally minutes from Cleveland State which was super convenient for my cousin. I immediately went onto their website and reserved their move-in special, a 10x10 for $99. I instantly received a gate code, room #, and my cousin already had her own lock from the past that she held onto. She dropped her stuff off 20 minutes later. That was easy!

However, before the promotional period even ended, I received notice that my rate would increase--by nearly 38% above the agreed-upon post-promotion rate. As a result, I didn't even receive a full month at the standard rate I originally agreed to before being hit with a significant increase. That feels misleading and undermines the terms presented at signup. Overall, it gives the impression that the company relies on promotional pricing to attract customers, only to quickly raise rates to offset those discounts.
