This farmer's market is on the left side on a dirt road and I was impressed how everything is neat and clean. All their fruits and produce have a very rich look and smell. The mangos have a gorgeous ripe smell and the cilantro is rich and fresh since they keep it on cool water pots and fridges. The owner, Nelson has two huge tanks with constant running water where he has gorgeous sized tilapias which he will catch the one you like and have it cleaned for your enjoyment at home. He also breeds his own fish and feeds them top quality pellets with fish products and organic fish food. No hormones here. The prices are phenomenal for the deep and the shallow pocket, you can spend two dollars on a small tilapia or eight dollars on a tilapia alone, it also depends how how much produce and fresh fruit you go ahead and buy, it's all up to the consumer. Regardless the prices are very inexpensive in my opinion and you are receiving great service and amazing quality. Besides tropical fruits, they can make shakes for you with anything you buy and they also have coconuts, sugar cane juice (guarapo) and many more like tamarind. I will be visiting more often, after all it's very close to us and with their advice, their hygienic standard and feasible prices it's a no brainier.
