Matthew told me to come in for a quick check. He told me the technician doing the evaluation was free and available. Once I checked in, I waited for an additional 3 hours for a diagnosis that I already informed Matthew I knew. Once I told him I was not getting the work done today, I was charged $78.00 for the diagnosis. Plus, the quote from Pepboys was very similar to the quote from the company I was comparing them to. Matthew lied to my face; saying he told me about the fee. He claim he could let me hear the recording. I am still waiting to hear the recording. Vastly different experience from Mike Maroone which I absolutely hate to patronize. I'm talking service and price! At any rate, the problem I had fixed glitched one day and I called Issa to let him know. I set up a time to bring it back but it wasn't necessary because it's been months and it never glitched again. When I called to let him know I wasn't going to keep the appointment, he told me he'd done some research and bring it by anyway, when I had time. Previously, my car had only been serviced by Chevrolet dealers but with the aforementioned trash one, I am happy I found Pete's and will continue to patronize them.

I pay again get back in my car immediately I hear the noise. I call the mechanic over and point the noise out to him. You know what he says? "That's the sound of the engine running." You gotta be kidding me? I've had this car for 5 years. That's the sound of the engine? No. But I'm fresh out 300$. After two weeks I take it to a part store up the street. The worker behind the counter says that my engine is over heating because of the AC. He turns off the AC and the noise immediately goes away. They set me up with a new part for way less then 300. Long story short: Yes, the work I went in for was done. They also missed a problem not once but twice. Then tried to tell me it was the engine. Not great. The guy behind the counter was nice though. 5 stars for him!
